james is just one of those dudes where cars and engines are just an extension of him. his knowledge for his years is insane, its like a basketball player that has natural talent for the game that practices on top of that talent.
I'm sure they all do..like a slide ruler ...x amount hp times weight times boost divided by track length or some similar magical formula...then it's up to the launch and gear changes..lol.where jackstand impresses is he can pinpoint where to save time ...move this,add that tighten this ,loosen that...especially with drivers that are super consistent

From a guy with kids, hearing James kid in the background trying to get his attention was great. Happens all the time my girls do the same thing, it is such a great thing to get kids around that stuff young and shops young!
We see this often as well. On the dyno, the fuel system has it easy. In the real world, when G forces come into play, it's not uncommon to see your smooth fuel pressure curve start to look different. Happens with the oil pressure too, on certain setups.
