Cody’s a local near me he’s got insane pop. He’s always been more technical low impact but I’ve seen him skate handrails, gaps and popping over big stuff when he’s feeling it.

Street skating is like that. Aside from choosing a trick the skater should use any possible advantage. The purpose of the game is to win. Long legs vs short legs - should they cut them all to the same size?
As someone who does nosemanny nollie flips quite a lot, i would rather do it up the bank then down it since it gives you more of a lift and upwards momentum when you pop out.
Skategoat had the easier side to do it imo.
.. you can Ollie into it from both sides. It’s not that high from either. Does not make a difference for anybody that can ollie up a curb

I just want to say if your a skater then you know the pressure it is in a game of skate especially if it's a off day when you can't land alot tricks that you know you have down I believe it was. So we all know that they are awesome skaters and they both played a great game

it's weird I have never seen Cody Cepeda skate except in BATB or MACBA...It would be rad to see him drop a full street part...during BATB he comes across as an invincible tech assassin landing any trick first try, whereas here Leandre has exposed his weakness- jumping down shit! I thought he'd do the switch ollie easy but he took a letter, and his fs 180 was small and awkward looking...but, he still won. I guess Leandre isn't tech enough to make the defense...
Leandre, you know why people aren't feeling you in this contest at all? Every single trick from you feels dirty, big emphasis on getting the adversary a letter or explore some weakness, at the same time these are low skill and not entertaining at all for the audience that skated for some time in their lives.
I don’t see that at all. He is trying to win, as long as he follows the rules, it’s all fair game. This is how skaters make a living. They win to get more visibility and sponsors. Stop being a little baby.

@@aguycalledlucas "as long as he follows the rules" skateboarding has way more nuance than football or other "sports", there is no rule saying that a skater can't pressure flip 5 different corners of MACBA after realising his opponent can't pressure flip and giving them 5 letters. What keeps them from doing this is some level of social awareness which turns it into a gentleman's game, usually quite noticed by the average skater. You are in the other 2% who don't get it and defends Leandre in the comments 🙃
