- Brendan Bialy gave a press conference on Wednesday, April 8, 2019, one day after he and two other students rushed and disarmed a shooter at STEM School Highlands Ranch. He talks about what happened, his friend and fellow student Kendrick Castillo, who was killed, and how he won't let the shooters win.

I love the message he had for the shooter - YOU FAILED. In 30 seconds, your power was taken from you.
we don’t need to criticize the way he acted in this interview. he is processing so much psychological shock and grief and he is telling the story the best he can in order to make it through this difficult time. he along with others experienced something truly traumatic and we can’t even begin to imagine everything running through his head. his courageous actions saved many lives and that’s what matters

@Under the Surface he HAD to give an interview to get the truth out before the media starts in with their lying as they always do. He has a lawyer because the shooter(s) families will file a lawsuit against him if he says ONE WRONG THING. the shooters parents could not raise their children right and will be looking to blame anyone and sue them. these comments are based on other school shootings and what transpired after, I have spent a lot of time researching each one going back to Columbine.

I went to this school and I knew Kendrick from TSA. Kendrick was a leader and was amazing and helped us out immensely. RIP. I was lucky enough to move last year but I am still in shock.
So this is what a hero looks like! He's even so humble he refuses to take credit, but that's not gunna happen.

How and why people cannot discern truth from fiction is mind boggling. Especially when. The legislation and executive orders outlining exactly how and why and by whom these staged events are being conducted by is readily available if only one is willing to look for it.
Critical thinking is dead. People believe any and everything they see on television and accept it regardless of all the anomalies and lack of evidence or reason behind it.
I honestly think that they intentionally make these things beyond obviously STAGED, just to see how badly they can botch these carbon copy narratives, recycling the same actors and stories over and over, yet still convince the vast majority of Americans that they're real. These events are designed to see. Who believe this bullshit,and who questions it . And also , h ow easily they can manufacture consent for their agendas, and manipulate people into responding and reacting to exactly what they want us to do.

@el taco Easy to explain, the young man has the courage to decisively act when necessary, this is a needed quality as a Marine, and it is one of our 14 Leadership Traits. As a former USMC Anti-Tank Infantryman, we joked that Grunts were bullet sponges but that is not always the case.
Our men are well trained and have lots of support. While casualties do happen, they are very rare in the brush fire conflict that we have today.
Back to how this will make him a good Marine, the kid was able to assess the situation, weigh the costs, and then act. I learned after the service that the ability to act quickly and decisively under stress paid huge dividends. While working in the Oil and Gas industry, this skill made me a lot of money and earned a lot of respect.
To break down the situation, the defenders by rushing the gunman did something not expect which interrupted the shooter's OODA Loop. While the Gunman was still processing what to do, they had disarmed them.
Bottom line, life is full of danger and risk, those who cannot accept to deal with that fact will constantly be playing catch up and losing when life comes at them.
Brendon is truly articulate , brave, and a hero. Kendrick sounds like an Stem Genius, it’s sad because he could of been the next Elon Musk!

Cannot believe there are 52 dislikes for this video. This teenager just experienced SEEING the death of his best friend. How freaking many of you can say that and today can say you are mentally OK. He just graduated and is now a Marine. Those that are paid to train him have spoken of their observations of him. Listen to his black drill instructor if you choose to make the time to Google Brendan's story. Not people sitting at home at a keyboard pounding out nastiness. It is a privilege I've had in Googling all the stories about him and his 2 friends that took out these deranged little thugs. It has been an honor to meet his wonderful parents through this video as well as others. They did one hell of a job raising this young man. Watch the body language of his parents, especially in this video. None of them ever asked for this event to launch them into the publicity they've received. All Brendan wanted to do was basically finish school and enlist. Period. He got that but he also lost his best friend who he honors at every moment he's given to do so. Honor Brendan in return please. It is the least he deserves. Kind of young man I'd want for a son. May God bless you Brendan in all you do. When I was 10, my grandmother died. I was so in shock, I couldn't even process what had happened, and I just couldn't believe she had died. I coped by trying to be as happy as possible, and even looked like an insane person after acting like she wasn't dead. Not trying to sound rude, but people process grief differently.

Because he and his friends saved lives. Saving several lives is better then losing one. One is sad enough, but what this kid did I amazing. He is a true hero. I live less then a mile away from the STEM school. I know a few kids that go to the school. If this kid didn’t take responsibility and choose to take this action, I may not have those friends, they could be gone. It hits me so hard because I am a teenage boy, the shooters home school, is my school, and it’s just too much for me and too close to home. It sucks.

I've saved two people with CPR and I can tell you that the decision to go on camera the day after your friend was killed is not a normal/good decision. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt though, even though it seems like he's doing this for his own purposes.

I know that no matter what I say you won’t believe me and your arrogance won’t change. But I’m going to say this anyway, anyone that believes that the shooting was fake or that the people being interviewed aren’t actually kids that go to stem, you are wrong. Plain and simple, you’re incorrect. Brendan has been to my house, I’ve seen other kids that have been on the news in the hallways of STEM before the shooting happened. I'll give this kid and his parents a break but he will look back on this video saying what a pompous ass I sound like knowing another family is burying their heroic son who probably saved Brendan's life.
