I bought this wide electric skillet of 1500W (@ 240V), which incidentally is called Zilan (brand name). The wattage of 1500 is good and serves its purpose, but I found this skillet even better by plugging it in a source of 110V which effectively reduces the heating power to just 375W, which is excellent for slow cooking any meat casserole. Absolutely delicious.
My kitchen has a source of both 240V and 110V electricity, so the choice is easy.
