Interestingly, in the American movie 'What's Cooking' one of the families had a turkey for Thanksgiving that they burnt so they just bought KFC buckets to serve with all the trimmings. I know it's Thanksgiving, not Christmas, but I know in the USA turkey is a must for Thanksgiving but Xmas is more flexible with what you serve so hear me out on that as a KFC Xmas ad idea.

The brave chicken battled through the elements just so it can be killed, chopped up and covered in a secret blend of herbs and spices? While this ad will probably upset vegetarians and vegans, it probably switches a whole load of people off eating chicken!

They are so LOVELY. I had the fattest biggest Brahma rooster I've ever seen in my life including internet ones, Toffee, a solid 20+ lbs, 2 ft tall rusty orange wall of defensive fluff who scared several very big guys from ever going in the garden as he would violently jump as high as their necks and go for them with his spurs, he'd do that to any unfamiliar male, while women only got a peck. He was very friendly with me though ,unless he thought i was trying to steal a hen, especially his favourite Marshmallow, if she needed out for a treatment like feet sprayed, he would go ballistic in the pen, jumping madly, throwing himself upside down even in an attempt to get out if he couldn't see her, while he would reassuringly watch and coo for her if he got to come too :) In the summer when he lay down in the sun to dustbathe he looked somewhat like a large feathered pancake with a head the size of a dustbin lid due to his unique build. I miss him a lot, he died of a heart attack ( i think). He never had a good heart and you always had to be careful carrying him as he couldn't breathe so well while lifted, we'd feed him healthy stuff and loads of fuchsia which i read benefits the chickens cardiovascular systems, he just loved his food too much though. RIP Toffee, The softest fattest nicest chicken that ever lived :(
How can you like someone and be ok with eating them? If you would decide to eat your chicken pet one day that would be a huge betrayal. Animals trust us and we send them to slaughter - why do we act like this when we do not have to? Wy like KFC, when we have plenty of delicious animal-free foods? Please stop participating in unnecessary suffering.
