Sleeping in bear country can be very frightening for people. This new item is an answer to the problem of fear while camping in bear country. This is useful for everyone sleeping in the back country.
Bear specialists and outdoor professionals will tell you, bears who willfully enter a camp are either predatory or have become used to eating garbage and human food. Either way these bears are no longer fearful of being in close proximity to humans and are very dangerous.
Bear Shock® is the first ultra lightweight battery-powered, electric fence system and is designed to provide safety and sound sleep while in bear country and to help protect you and your equipment from curious bears by providing a surprising electrical shock if touched. Bear Shock uses three sets of poly-wire with two hot and one ground. When the energizer is turned on, Bear Shock® will distribute an electric charge of about 5,000 volts if touched.

I assume the bottom wire is a long ground wire? Would have been nice to see it work.

Looks like a good product , could it be used as a thug fence here in Los Angeles? Thanks for the video.

Hi, How is the bottom wire powered? Can you put another Red clip down to the bottom wire? Theres a couple other good two wire kits out there, but was going with yours because of the third wire. The Unit is being grounded by the steak in the ground, could you power the bottom wire? Do you really need the additional ground?

newstart1651 It is an extra safety measure to have an additional ground. However, in good wet conditions you can make all three live as well. In stead of connecting the lower wire to the ground stake, connect it to the middle wire. Remember if you do this that none of the wires can touch the ground or weeds. Thanks for your support!
