  • You know that friend of yours who loves to argue that Chicago-style pizza is not actually pizza? Well, they’re going to really hate this. But, only when it comes to the name. They, along with anyone else who tastes this, will love this refreshing combination of sweet, salty, and savory flavors. Enjoy!

The first bite was a bit confusing but once you get going its soo great. Really this cannot be done without the feta-melon-olive trinity. I think the mint should be added in small amounts and personally i like a bit more pepper, but thats personal.

I've salted my watermelon since I was a very young child. I never known anyone else to do it. This looks fabulous. I also salt my cantaloupe, my grapefruit, strawberries, and and most fruits I eat plain. Thank you for this idea. I've made a watermelon salad before which contains feta and blueberries for the Fourth of July (red, white, and blue). It was really good, too.

Watermelon and feta cheese is a delicious combination. Every summer, when it gets too hot to eat cooked stuff (like right now) we make a salad from watermelon cubes with spring onion (sliced in fine rings), feta, sunflower seeds, olive oil, salt and pepper. Super, super fresh and yummy.

This reminds me of summer lunches that my mother gave us; it was a thick slice of good cheese, bread and watermelon. Cheese and watermelon goes well together.

I've had something very similar to this in salad form, with the watermelon cut into cubes, and crumbled goat cheese (if I remember correctly). It was so delicious, I couldn't believe it! I'm definitely trying this because it looks even better.

One snack i've been eating since i was a kid was watermelon with peanut butter! Always loved it and highly recommend if this feta/olive approach is too intimating to tackle but you are still curious about salty sweet watermelon pairings

Persians have been eating watermelon with feta cheese in lavash bread for many many many years!
It's called noon o panir (bread and cheese). We eat it with various things, one of them is watermelon! It also works with cantaloupe too!!

Ouaou! I will definately make this. Here in Greece is common to eat watermelon or grapes with cheese and/or bread but to put olives and mint and olive oil is something I have never thought. Thank you. I am sure it will be unique and delicious. Great snack for summer.
