I'm confused. I'm so damn confused. I never knew a judge could meet with the witnesses and prosecutors in a private meeting.

They’re allowed to meet with one party of a suit for small things, like scheduling a date, but this is a nearly 2 year ongoing trial and so they didn’t meet for a trivial thing.
Also, even in the above scenario, the other party must be notified as quickly as possible.

A Lawyer is not a Real Profession, in that Lawyer is not necessary for the function of Civilization. We have a basic right for our laws to be written in Layman's Terms. To write Laws in Layman's Terms would mean to write Law in an easy to understand language - which the population can read, and understand, without the help of an expert.
In Modern Era Law is written in such a complexity, the language of law is regarded as an actual language of its own! What this means is unless you have successfully completed 7+ years of schooling at an advanced level, you will never speak the modern language of Law.
But all Laws have a foundation in Morality. Boiled down to their absolute basics, from the origins of civilization, law has existed to define moral standings within a given society. These moral baselines are so obvious and apparent, we as a collective agree upon them. Indeed every law that we follow today is actually very basic and definable.
Because Our Current Law is written in such Legal Jargon, we must hire those that are masters of this Jargon. In the Modern Era, we call this profession Lawyer. Lawyers are required by law to be Honest, but not Truthful. The deeper one dives into the law, it will become apparent that for almost every law, legal safeguards have been written in place to protect those at the highest levels of legal defense. What this means is Law at the highest levels becomes a game. One team of Law against another. If you have more money, or more resources to study the complexities of Law, you can buy your freedom. This is why we see so many Millionaires-Billionaires who live lifetimes of crime. They have made enough money to rise above the consequences of law. People who cannot afford to hire private Lawyers, get Public Defenders. While there are great Public Defenders, the reality is these folks are highly overworked, and incredibly used to obtaining "plea deals". No Public Defender will have the time, effort, or resources to dive deep into the law to truly defend the accused at the level one could with a Private Legal Team. So the upper classes get to live above the law, and the lower classes are punished with a heavy hand, unable to obtain a basic defense against the complexity of this language.
But where is the morality in this approach? Indeed if one of us must be held accountable for our actions, must we all? Isn't the integrity of the legal system compromised with the addition of Lawyer and a language of law we cannot understand?
Why has Law been written in a separate language the populace cannot understand? Do we have a basic right for our laws to be written in Layman's Terms? If Law was written in Layman's Terms, why do we need Lawyers?

It was the judges emotional support dog. He is upset because sterilization is being given as a form of punishment but he was neutered just because he was a dog still hasn't gotten over it and doesn't like the fact that the judge also likes to ask him whether he should give people the death penalty and other sensitive matters. Another candidate of the many voices in the judges 🗣️
