- After a back-and-forth that delayed Day 88 of the Young Thug, YSL RICO trial, Judge Ural Glanville upheld his order to hold Attorney Brian Steel in criminal contempt and said he would have to report to the Fulton County Jail every week for the next 10 weeks.

This judge is clearly corrupt mistrial
If I am ever in the state of Georgia, and in court, Mr Steele will be the first person I call. What an incredible act of loyalty to be asked to be jailed with his client on the weekends. My hat is off to you sir. Maybe there are a few good ones out there after all.

@@briannagaither1734 I think you're confused by my comment I think the judge and the DA are dirty and this lawyer Steele called them out on it and then judge turned and locked him up for not giving information on how he knew about it if I was Steele I would have said nobody gave me information but u just confirmed my assumption would have been the best route and it could avoided the jail time but opened him up to being liable if the judge didn't confirm that they did had done exactly what he accused them of but now you will see a civil suit filed against the judge and the da Steele played that scenario like a pro.
I hope the appeal court takes a good look at the actions that led up to this

The Supreme Court of Georgia intervened yesterday and overturned the judges decision.
The department of Justice doesn't care about anything but Trump. If they wanted to look into something they could look into why Jeffery desantis, a democratic operative, was working in fani willis' office pre selecting grand jurors.

He sentenced him to jail on the weekends he will still be able to represent his client. Not saying it’s right at all it’s actually crazy.

Steele called the judge out. The judge was wrong in so many ways! He will be investigated for judicial misconduct. He violated the Defendant's constitutional rights by meeting secretly with a witness & the prosecutor in chambers without telling the defense. Defense has a right to be present for all actions pertaining to their case. The judge was intimidating the witness to testify.
Someone snitched to the defense and told them about the judge's secret meeting. The defense then made a motion to have the issue addressed and the judge demanded to know who snitched. The defense wouldn't rat the snitch out, so the judge arrested him for contempt because he is trying to coerce the attorney to snitch on the snitch.
Straight BS. Kangaroo Court. This whole case is a disgrace.

This rash decision by the judge will likely bite him where it hurts. He seems to have made a judgment based on his emotions. An internal investigation might even be started regarding this, and possibly other, secret meetings.

That's not technically correct, the lawyer is being held in contempt for not snitching on who told him about the meeting.
The meeting is ex parte, as such the case must be declared a mistrial. This is absolutely inappropriate.

The missing context is that the judge, opposing counsel, and prosecutor were meeting in camera making some kind of a deal and excluding Steele; someone tipped Steele off; he went before the court and ask the judge why this meeting occurred; the judge demanded to know who tipped him off; and he refused (citing attorney -client and attorney work product privilege)

In 2016, I experienced a situation where a judge conducted an investigation on me and made this declaration in court.
Additionally, the judge warned that I would face contempt charges if I challenged his authority and inquired about his actions.
This matter remains ongoing (in 2024) as I continue to contest it with the New York State legal system.
Sometimes, all is not what it seems in the legal system.

An ex parte meeting with either side of a case destroys all impartiality of the bench. The judge has revealed himself to be wholly corrupt.
The stroke of the judges pen at that moment destroyed the attorney client privilege. In the future ALL court cases will call this case as a reference.
