You are out of ketotis over a certain level of sugar intake - general is below 50g but some people max out 20g a day to make sure. You can crush vodka soda/tequila soda lime etc with that allowance.

Carb addiction is real. And some people need to go cold turkey to get away from it. I've been keto for 5 months now to reduce sugars in my system since I have cancer. I've honestly never felt better, but don't plan to do this long-term. Finding out how much I was addicted to and craving carbs was pretty wild. Down 60 lb overall.
I broke up with my girlfriend and lost a bit of weight getting into shape.
Saw my mother a month or so later and she commented that not only did i look sick, but my thin face reminded her of the shock she got when she saw my dad (her ex husband) on his deathbed. Then proceeded to tell me that women don't like skinny and that's why I'm single. Thanks mom, no wonder dad left.

Im 6'3 and and 232 with a six pack thanks to keto and blood work is awesome! You have to eat healthy fats and lean meats though. You cant eat pepperoni and chedder cheese all day. I was 295, depressed, and had no cardio. It is a expensive diet with avocados, lean meats and keto cheat snacks are ridiculously expensive but its worth it. It gets rid of arthritis and does you well. I still have a 5 hour window every week were i pound oreos, Coca-Cola and beer.

Never understood why ppl think trend diets are peak performance. Just make your diet similar to the regions that have the longest living ppl and adjust it to what your specific goals are. Well rounded unprocessed diet is the way to go. Tried and true.
