#SelenaGomez #Internet #NoSocialMedia - Zábava
still so crazy that jeannie is a mom now😢 especially if you’ve also watched jeannie’s journey all these years….is wild! wow, she’s a mommy!!♥️🎉🥺
Honestly I can't get over it !! You see when you find the right person 😭❤️... It will honestly change your life
She just now being a mom?? I thought she been had kids
Honestly, sometimes it's not about not wanting a child, it's just ur with the wrong person and your vibrations just say no kids!! Happened to a friend of mine, she was with a guy and he said he didn't wanna get married or have kids 😂😂 guess what? He's now married to someone else and has 2 kids.
It’s not always about trolls. Social media takes up so much of our time. That’s the being “present” part Selena and Jeanie were talking about. You are not looking at the next post. It frees your mind for the things that are right before you
💯 period
Who be on social media like that though? To me the issue becomes less the tool and more about how we as people use it.
@ Shaktra
But the internet, apps, etc. are literally made to be addicting and to suck up your time and keep you scrolling and clicking. You’re right, personal accountability plays a part, but so many get caught up unawares or are struggling with so much they aren’t as disciplined.
@@shaktra1563 look at studies that talk about how many times we scroll and click. You will be amazed. This is a problem that grows subtly. And even if not everyone is experiencing mental health issues from social media, I can tell you so many are addicted
@@Joce-bl7qi you are right. And studies show that our brains respond to social media the same way they react to sugar and substances like that. Think about how many people can’t lower their sugar intake yet most of them want to. Its not that simple sometimes
She’s had her password and account in the hands of her Management since 2017… anytime she has been on live it’s pretty much been to check in and just try to reconnect but I feel like she been through so much that people still find a way to be mean to her and it’s sad ! I’m glad she decided to take care of her mental health
She still posts tiktoks
What is Selena talking about?! She's been off the internet for 4 years? Nah. Don't think so. That means she's been off Google Maps, Doordash, and host of other glorious finds on the world wide web. Maybe she should've said I have stepped off of social media's top 3 platforms and my life is much better for it. Celebrities! (rolling my eyes)
@@CC-si3cr no she havent
@@CC-si3cr agree😊
@@CC-si3cr not ya’ll getting technical…come on
I applaud Selena for this. Instagram was a problem for me because I cared too much about likes, what people thought about me, and trying to keep up so that ppl wouldn’t forget about me. I was miserable so I deleted the app in January and I NEVER looked back. I’ve never felt so free. The next app to go is Snapchat but the camera on there is so good🤣
Yes getting rid of Instagram has made me happier. I have Snapchat too,but I use it for the camera and storing up private memories.
@@Simz199x that’s exactly what I use it for!!
I’ve been off the internet for 6 years meaning no social media’s whatsoever and it honestly feels good , I don’t feel like I have to keep up with certain expectations ,I just live my life and enjoy it !
CZcams counts as social media too
@@shantaiangelee8215 but youtube is more of an entertainment platform like TV, Netflix etc. and us viewers don't have expectations placed on us like there would be on instagram. So, I get what they're saying.
@@Salim-kb4om What??! There are plenty of expectations placed on people through tv and CZcams. Literally, before there was facebook, twitter and instagram there was television. And television and magazines and they placed unrealistic expectations on people as well. And with CZcams, the whole vlogging culture can become toxic. People need to learn how to mindfully use social media.
@@ashleyrogers1930 I meant there’s no expectation for us to post here or stay consistent. So I can leave CZcams for a week and nobody would notice. I’m looking at it in terms of posting.
@@Salim-kb4om Ah I see what you're saying. I honestly post more on CZcams than any other platform. I don't care to share my life on the internet, anyone who needs to know something will know it by word of mouth.
I've been off Instagram for almost a year now and it has been the best thing of my life, totally relate Selena!
CZcams is my only social media. I use to do twitter Facebook Instagram and snap and it was giving me anxiety. It feels so great to liberate myself from all the social media junk. I get all the pop culture content I need from CZcams. But I’m not a public figure n dont make money from it so it doesn’t affect me.
Yeah, I'm 4 years in too. I just use CZcams and snapchat for filters 😆
I'm not attached to social media. It isn't a necessity for me. I'd be fine without. It isn't real life. In addition, I have a son that is in his 20's and has never had a social media account. He just doesn't care. He is truly a unicorn. 😆😆
I don't post on social media, I am a watcher.... but I would be completely depressed without the internet
Me too I'm just watching 😅
That's real
Saying you DON'T post on the internet "while posting". While you're very smart I bet you lie your way out of traffic tickets all the time
Selena said social media not the internet
Same. Social media is very entertaining.
Loni is absolutely right. Why let someone ruin YOUR social media experiece.
Everyone's mental health can't take that negativity every day, the internet can be extremely brutal.
she’s speaking for a couple percentage of people whereas i feel like the rest of us can willingly acknowledge when it’s not serving our mental health better
Yes
It’s inspiring what she’s done and I know she feels so much more free for it
Loni's main concern was she has to be "hip" which I get but trust when I say all those trends and statuses aren't going anywhere. Those posts will always be there when you get back to it. As someone who grew up with social media, having a first social account at 10, I think that you become attached to it on a more personal level. I think a lot of people are afraid or maybe embarrassed to admit that. There is nothing wrong with being connected to being "connected" on media platforms. Tons of Gen-Z have used it during their developmental stages of life which makes it a little more challenging to distance yourself from it. However, it is possible to take a break from socials, you just have to be willing to. When I took my first actual break from social, it was during quarantine. When I say that the first week rough, but luckily I adjusted and I agree with everything Selena mentioned. I was seeing the most casual things in a whole new light. Such as, having conversations with friends and walking my dog. Those little things allowed me to be more aware of what's in front of me rather than what's happening else where, which was a huge stress reliever. Now this is only my experience and I am a person who is easily influenced, so the break for me was necessary. Now I do breaks on a consistent basis. It's just about balance. You can say you don't need a break but trust me you wont know you needed one till you actually take one.
I agree with Loni, but sometimes taking a break is not just because of trolls. For me I'm no kind of celebrity, and I don't have trolls and I keep my IG "intimate", but I took a break from IG just to escape pressure and expectations to keep up. I found I was inwardly comparing myself with people's achievements. Thinking - she did this in her career, so I'm behind. He did this in his business so I'm behind. They did that with fitness goals, so I'm behind, etc. Even though, I know everybody's journey is different and I'm happy for each and everyone of them, social media sometimes makes me question myself. So the breaks definitely help me to re-center.
This comment articulates exactly how I feel! Not having to be up to date on pop culture and being free from the comparison is so real and before people come saying no-one is forcing you to compare your life to others its really unconscious and before long you realize little things have crept in. Breaks and time away does exactly that, re-centers me
I think social media effects people in different ways. There are some celebrities that can be on it and not be fazed by the things that they see and then there are other celebrities that are constantly on the blogs bc they respond to everything a troll says. Someone that comes to mind is Cardi B who seems like the negativity eats at her and who really might benefit from logging off and taking a nice long break just like Selena did. I don't know if that would hurt her financially if she did it like the ladies in the video were saying for themselves but it really might be something to consider.
Loni the only one keeping it real. And Jeannie PLEASE every single post of yours is an ad… you would not get off off of SM.
I could understand her reasons. I gave up social media at the beginning of this year. I feel less pressure to keep up with everyone. I noticed I'm more focused on my short and long term goals. Overall I feel more focused less forgetful too. It's kinda nice. Occasionally I will give in to tiktok videos as entertainment but I feel like I have more control over the time I spend on it.
Same! I still watch CZcams though
@@Olivia............. that as well.
@@Olivia............. We all watch it. Its literally on everyone phone
I think she should distinguish "Internet" from social media. I mean most people bank, seek directions, research hobbies, buy clothes, etc. using the Internet. That's very different from social media. Also, why are you placing the responsibility on YOUR CHILD to say I don't want to be on Social Media. Parents need to start parenting...
Y'all know what she meant! She still uses google and stuff. She just doesnt post as usual and read comments.
She still uses tiktok
Right??!?!
She specifically says social media after and in multiple interviews
@@Missmagazinebura She said she wasn’t on the social media for the last 4 years and she said she now only mostly uses tiktok whilst her team manages her twitter insta and Facebook
I’ve been off the internet for 5 years. It was probably one of the best lifestyle choices I have made. And I have no desire to go back. I enjoy apps like CZcams and Pinterest. But as far as like posting pictures and stories. I think it’s a ridiculous I think everyone should “detox” for at least a year. If you can’t step away I would encourage you to do some self examination on what’s important to you ☮️💟
I deactivated my Instagram account last December and it feels so good. My initial reason to deactivate was for Uni, i planned to get off Instagram until Summer time (when my Universty exams ended). But the more I’m off Instagram the more I felt free from everything and it felt like I had no eyes on me since no one could access my social media. I’m still wondering after exams end, is there truly any point in activating my Instagram account anymore? I love taking photographs and I think I’ll definitely be taking photos more in the summer, but I don’t really feel the need to post them tbh, and if I were to post, it would definitely not be on something toxic like Instagram but on a different platform like Pinterest.
Commenting is social media and CZcams and Pinterest are definitely social media too. It's not just Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The internet is news, television, film, work, calls, banking...it touches almost everything we do.
I agree. I barely go on Instagram, because I'm too focused on what I need to do.
@@AllGreyEverything you’re missing the point. We’re talking about social medias where the platform brings societal pressures
Same. They're brutal to pretty girls like us.
I definitely like internet breaks. I've never cared about trolls, in fact, when I was younger, I used to take pleaser in trolling trolls. I currently don't use it to make money, but even when I do, like Jeannie said, timed posts. The reason I like taking breaks is because I like to hear my own thoughts. Even anyone reading this, you've now got my thought process in your head, my thoughts and ideas. At the time I'm posting this there are 65 other comments. That's a lot of people's thoughts and perceptions about things. Sometimes people can get caught up looking at the wrong things, and it's hard to sometimes separate that when our phones or devices are in our faces all day. You're like the 5 people you spend the most time with, and sometimes that's not always in person, but who's thoughts you're consuming the most, and those dramatic moments that we might not participate in in real life, it's easy to watch online. It's easy to get consumed by other people's mess, and taking a break is a good time to detach and reconnect to yourself, separate from everyone else.
I completely agree. I feel like Loni took this the wrong way. Selena didn’t say everyone else had to do what she was doing, (she actually didn’t mention anyone else in her statement. All she said were “I” statements.) she just said this is what what works best for her. 💁🏽♀️ You can do both - don’t let the trolls get to you, but also take breaks (breaks are healthy for any activity you participate in - whether is for pay or just a hobby.
There's nothing wrong with taking a break
I could only take a break for three days
@@Missmagazinebura I did for 9 months when I was locked up
I'm with Loni honestly. Social media is fun for me. I can stay current, I can make money, I can stay connected with friends, etc. I wouldn't be able to do it. But then again idk what "stepping away" means in her case. Did she just not use the internet that whole time, or was she just careful about what she read and looked at on social media? She should specify because it's unrealistic nowadays to literally stop using the internet completely.
I use the internet to study and apply for jobs, council services... Can't book waste collection without the internet lol. It's impossible to not use the internet, unless you get other people to do everything on your behalf
Actually it's not unrealistic to not use the internet completely. For as much as there are millions of people on the internet/social media there's also millions who are not. There still is a whole real world out there, and people are living in it, not their devices or computers. And it doesn't capture everything. With that being said, using the internet is not a necessity, it a choice/activity. For some people it's an addiction, for others they may use it for employment or other resources, and there are others who don't use it at all and are just fine. So it's totally plausible.
@@TiffanyRayneOfficial I could not believe his comment. How about the Amish, some people who choose not to use it at all? Some people without access to it.Just speak for yourself millions of people dont use the internet.
@@TiffanyRayneOfficial that's fair. I love it for the convenience so I wouldn't give it up
Absolutely dislike the internet & social media…it’s a weird place…I have had Instagram & Twitter since they both began but I rarely use & hardly ever post anymore after 2016 it just felt like a very different place & kinda lame tbh.
Jeannie is right, the weird entitlement people feel to be allowed to see her daughter because they've followed her journey like... 🤔😒
But at the same time she opened too much of her life and yeah the public expect her to share her child too...they feel weird that she's like not all of a sudden. Being private has it's advantages too.
@@halomerric8611 I don't think she's shared too much. She's a public figure working on a show called 'the real' which in some ways require her and the other ladies to be real about their personal experiences at times. That doesn't mean she doesn't have a right to protect her child. People feeling weird that she doesn't want to share HER daughter is what's weird.
@@sansbc i agree but that's why, again being private has it's advantages.
Yes we shouldn’t let the trolls win. I agree with Loni on that. I also feel like taking a break is very healthy too. The ladies are right. But it’s hard indeed as it does pay most of our bills and also gives us a huge part of our social lives.
I believe I could just because the internet can be a very toxic place at times so for my mental health I think it could be be relaxing and honestly allow me to be more present and in the moment then face down in the phone all the time
I agree I definitely take breaks from social media. It’s draining & can be a lot honestly mentally.
I could go without posting for a long time but I'd still want to lurk🤣💀
🤣 x10
YES LOVE THAT. I only use social media for my tee shop website & blogging.
I think it might be easy if you have a management team that checks in for you and can fill you in on what's going on. If you already have a platform outside of social media that helps too. A lot of us would like to have all that. Maybe we will find out it's not all glamorous, but there are some perks to be had.
Not Adrienne rolling her eyes at loni at 00:37
No internet? Or no social media? These are two different things!
No internet = No GPS, Google, Wikapedia, CZcams, music streaming, online banking, shopping and so on.
I can honestly say I never feel the desire to take a break from social media. My work requires me to be online all day long. And some of it on social media because I have to do internet mining and monitor employee/applicants social posts.
Coupled with the fact I really am not triggered anymore by trolls or those that disagree with my POV. I don't have people that I know criticizing me online, so when strangers do it, my opinion is, they have a right to their opinion. Peace✌🏽
I do however crave "quieting" my brain. Meditation isn't working, prayer isn't working. I can't remember the last time I had a good night's sleep
I crave quieting my brain too. At any given time I have a thousand things running through my mind like what errands I need to run or a to do list etc.
Have you tried doing a peaceful activity and focusing on that one activity in that moment for a few minutes? Painting use to bring me a lot of peace (you don’t have to be good at it) but it’s something about smearing vibrant colors across a canvas or paper that is just so calming. Haven’t done it in a while but I feel it’s time to get back to it. Take care. ☺️
Have you tried visiting the countryside or taking a cruise? It's something about being in nature or on the water that puts my mind at peace. Meditation never worked for me either cause I live in the city and I hate it. Its alwats something going on, the bright lights, and loud sounds are just irritating.
Everything you said was negated by your last paragraph. Get some rest, if you can
If you crave quiet time you probably really do need a break from social media.. don't underestimate the power of a solid digital detox LOL.. it's not just about moving away from any perceived criticism, it's to get away from the screen and constant intake/consumption.
@@AngelasTravelAdventures Right! Then get off social media. I'm going to a nice retreat for three days in San Diego in June. No social media.
This is something that I’m dealing with now actually. I feel like social media/ internet is like candy. Great at first, but if you have too much, you get physically sick. Ruined my sleeping schedule and made more sluggish that’s for sure. The amount of information and content we are able to receive these days is overwhelming and addictive. We all need to learn how to detox from our devices. ❤️
Great discipline.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
She's been minding her business for 4 years 🎉
Lesson to be learned here 💪🏽!
I love Loni's standpoint on this! But also I hear Adrienne too because its like do what you gotta do!!!
You four are the most realest women on TV right now I love watching you guys I don't write a lot in the comments because a lot of times people are mean and I don't want to deal with the b******* but use ladies I like my best friends even though I never met you you guys are so real God bless your friend from New Bedford Massachusetts south end
I will be doing this permanently. Can't wait & it does not need to be explained.
I haven’t had IG for 2 years now and I’m absolutely free lol no one knows anything about me or asks about me 😂 and I’m so good ❤️
having no social media definitely gives off a mystique about you nowadays.
That’s good good for her I am the same way the internet is so toxic for your mental health and their is more to life than social media it’s important to be more present I agree with Selena 💯 % I feel the same way about that
agreed 100%. I think it also depends on the individual, I can get off social media and be content. Not everyone can handle social media and that needs to be understood and respected.
@@sheenabullock6399 yeah exactly that’s true
Omggg I’m so happy Jenny had a daughter. She needed this. I love you Jenny much blessings in this new chapter
I haven’t been on Facebook or Instagram in over a year & I love it. It’s so refreshing. I gave it up for lent last year & I never went back.
Adrienne's face after Loni said really? :36 🤣

Everyone's mental health can't take that negativity every day, the internet can be extremely brutal.
Been off social media’s for almost 4 years now 💜
Thank god for this show
I also took a long time not caring about social media. Like I would not post for months and that helped me with being present.
Yes I can! I’ve done it for 1 1/2 years. No more social media for me! IT IS LIFE CHANGING! I do CZcams only. Don’t depend on social media to make your money!!!!!
I'm off all socail media platforms except for CZcams and honestly it does help your mental health .
It is not hard just put yourself first. She put her mental health first. If anyone can afford a team to help with work and everything else than who need to touch a phone and laptop again. I stopped using FB long time ago and stopped contact with everyone 🤣. It turned into something else not a leisure place anymore. Those who still want to stay in touch will have your contact, will reach out and continue the relationship. I only use Insta now and even stopped posting that often. It used to have lots of my traveling and motivation posts, but once I feel like I prefer to have my me time ❤. As we all grow older, we recognize the essential of our lives and who we care enough to have in the circle of friends ❤
I COMPLETELY understand..
I haven’t stepped away from the internet completely,, but I have COMPLETELY left Facebook YEARS AGO. It’s been the BEST thing EVER for my mental health.
Facebook could be a great place for networking and keeping in touch BUT FOR ME…. It was TOXIC. I found myself comparing myself, my kids, my marriage, my carrier and so much more to peoples FAKE REALITY. I am in a better place now but am not willing to risk defaulting on my self progress so I NEVER LOOKED BACK.
My WHOLE LIFE is better for having walked away from it. It’s been at least 5-6 years now ( I lost count ).
Do what you gotta do for your health and well-being. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Been off social media since 2016 (except YT I guess) but I like myself, and I don’t need Social media telling me i should be somebody else so I deleted it. My family thinks I’m weird cause I don’t need people knowing where Im at or what I’m doing 24/7. Love that loni speech at the end though don’t let the trolls win!
Thank you Loni!! She's authentic. That's how y'all pay your bills. People need to find balance 🙄. Adrienne you most certainly can get off. You don't want to. You want what social media provides but not the work involved 🤔 😏
Good for her!!! She’ll probably be better mentally!
This is goals for me. I wanna do this
I don't think it's about letting people "ruin" your experience... it's about knowing who you are and what you need, honoring that for yourself.. not anyone else
Anywhere they talk about Selena I will go for it I have never loved any celebrity like selenagomez, my heart is full when she post something and her beauty and her heart🥰🥰🥰
I'm glad I remember life before social media. I feel sorry for people who don't.
I think that we each have to do what is best for our own mental health. We have to protect our peace. Selena has made a choice that is in her own best interest. And that's ok. Also it's so wrong for people to hint, insinuate or out and out state that because they've followed Jeannie's story or been happy for her that she owes them a picture of her baby. That is just messed up.When you are genuinely happy for someone there is no fee attached to it.
If I had 311 million ppl chiming in on everything that I do… yeah, I would need to take time off. I had to delete Twitter back in 2011 because I had a few thousand followers, which caused me to overshare and obsess over it. 🤷🏽♀️ Some ppl are built for it. I’m not. 🤣🤣 Self awareness is important.
I haven’t had social media since 2013. CZcams is the only thing I have.
Can someone explain to me what selena meant by “stepping away from the internet for 4 years”? She’s been regularly posting to Instagram for awhile.
Someone else posts for her. She does make tik toks though but someone said that they post them for her. I think ultimately what she truly means is that she doesn’t read comments but it’s just my assumption
If she didn't specify, no one can say for sure. It's possible she has other people manage her social media accounts.
Edit: So it's a way to remain on social media without having to personally use it.
she has a team who posts for her. she also doesn’t read the comments.
I just said the same. She’s on TikTok.🤷🏽♀️
More than likely she has her team or management running her social media accounts. Also as Jeannie was mentioning, she could have pre-scheduled posts, pics, among other things get released.
I'm a mother of 1 && I love to share my Kidd w the world either in person or on social media but I do protect my kidd from it will try n attempt to be on my phone but I hardly ever allow it this generation is technology n social media so it will always be around so I will try my hardest to keep it away until that time comes
Yes I’ve started ! It’s just not for me . People don’t actually use social media to Actually be Social.
I'm so sad that this show is ending. I'm from germany but I watch Clips of the show at youtube. I love the ladys and I feel like I know them. I used to watch Loni on chelsea lately.. Jeanny is my favorite. I was also a troublemaker as I was younger and have also found peace in faith and motherhood.
I agree with loni it can be used for good for sure and there has to be a way to take it back from the trolls
I’d absolutely do it for my mental, emotional and spiritual health.
I left for close to 6 years… it was never a problem for me. I don’t post anyway. People are so disconnected but feel like they are connected.
The “internet” and “social media” are different. Lol what does she mean internet?
Right! Inquiring minds want to know if she can give specifics
I have for six years now and it’s the best thing. No instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok
I got off of facebook and ig as well its been a few months now and i only watch youtube, movies.
a lot of y’all are missing the point. it’s not about the trolls. when you’re constantly sharing everything you do on social media, nothing is sacred. you’re not truly present cause you’re looking at your screen or thinking about it. you’re viewing other peoples stories instead of appreciating what you’re doing right then & there. you tend to compare yourself to others.
I havent been on social media and almsot a year now I dont miss at all lol I dont have to worry about petty stuff
Loni man she as real as they get. I’m with her 100%
4:17 I LEGIT saw a comment like that on Instagram about Jeannie and she might be talking about the exact one I saw. It’s crazy…
Yes for no social media! It's so freeing to take a break and live in the moment 😊❤ We aren't meant for constant comparison and the weight of the world on our shoulders
Kids should not be using social media. I grew up with using a computer for music and school. I think it's beautiful how Monaco will be shared with us ^_^❤
I’m that weird late 20s dinosaur that has never bothered with social media. The last thing I had was a MySpace my 1st or 2nd year of HS. After that wave I didn’t bother with Facebook, I was really living in my teens/ early 20’s. During the pandemic I gave in a started watching TikTok’s and it’s scary the amount of time I can spend scrolling on there. I’m super happy with my choice to not bother “checking in with the Jones’s”. It does feel lighter and you can concentrate on your own journey rather then comparing yours to everyone else’s.
I only use WhatsApp to stay in contact with close family and friends and a few times a week I come on CZcams. I’ve never used ig, Twitter or TikTok and i deleted Facebook in 2018. Honestly being on Facebook was making my anxiety and depression worse because I started to feel like I was behind in life compared to my peers. I felt better the moment I deleted it.
“If I get off of social media for 2 months Y’all forget about my ass”
“She can afford to not be on social media”
“She can go on a red carpet”
😂😂😂😂😂😂
💜💜💜💜
Loved this convo, tho I wish they would’ve also spoken about social media from the average person’s perspective. I know as a broke college student myself (lol) seeing all these beautiful models on Instagram (no hate to them at all) traveling to Hawaii and getting paid thousands to post a picture on the beach can really mess with my head
Yessss🎉
the “internet” or “social media” for people who use social media and or the internet to pay bills , or become educated grow their brands etc. a 4yr period of no internet could make life harder for people trying to keep up and participate in the new world and economy. not to mention what ever the metaverse.
I got rid of fb and Instagram did not have it for a few yrs it felt good. I only got fb back for family. But Instagram ugh i missed it to much 😅
Deleted insta off my phone for the new year and I find myself with so much more time on my hands it’s a bit overwhelming
I personally haven't had social media since MySpace. I have a linked in for business, but other than YT I don't have social media. It's blissful. I think all the anxiety that people have would go away if they got off social media. For me I'm about quality of friends. I like to reach out to my friends to see what's going on. I don't want to have to look on a post to see what's going on. To me that's so generic. Using the internet for my banking and buying needs is a totally different thing. I mean sometimes it saves my LIFE!
I think they mean her team/management took over her accounts and post for her. It is totally possible (more than possible actually) to quit the internet and or live without it😂. There's plenty of people who aren't on it or don't use social media and they are just fine. Because there's still a real world that exist out there and people live in it. There's times my internet service was down for 3 days and sometimes a week when technology would mess up to say the least. I wasn't tripping because I still had/have everything I needed. I was fine. I think the problem is, especially these days, people live vicariously thru a digital lens. And being a real flesh and blood human isn't real to some anymore.
I agree with Loni and I agree with Selena. Stay if you want and use that block button immediately!!!! Know when you need a mental break. I personally think the block button is the best button invented. LOL Singing " Blocking you blesses me".
I have been free from social media since the beginning of Covid, it’s freeing and I don’t miss it!
I liked that Jeannie added in that people said since she shared her pregnancy journey that she now owes the public a photo of Monaco. Too bad it was cut off at the end.
I gave all social media up for Lent, not going back!!! Thanks to Selena♥️ truly feel much better not listening so all the bs!!
Selena understood..Ladies great topic😊
I actually like Loni’s POV here
Hey I'm a big fan
I am online a lot too but when I go on vacation I only use phone for life or death issues and nothing else. I have to say I feel better mentally and life is better. You are not mentally drained of basically everything. I think most of us will start reducing our time online so we can go f@#$%$# live life rather than be a slave to this ere phone. My t8me is up for today.
Garcelle’s lip color is so amazing! Who’s her stylist, what’s the tea!! 🤓
It's not just famous people who get off social media for mental health. Regular folks do to.. I completely removed the IG from my phone about 3 or 4 yes ago because felt like I began comparing my life to others. So now, I am logged on through the internet but not the app anymore to avoid checking it & also social media causes one to not focus my attention where it matters the most which is my baby. I need to be present for him at all times because he deserves it. I just now do CZcams alone. Gonna try & get off of here too. Lol
I never had ig but I got off of Facebook for the same reason. I was comparing my life to others and feeling like I was behind in life. I’m trying to limit CZcams to a couple of times a week.
My good sis Jeannie got the heel game under lock and key. Jeannie is getting ready to add on to her brand...Mommy and kids stuff..
Social media can be too much I did social media(Facebook) for 1 month for the first time. Now I just stay on CZcams MOstly or sometime WhatsApp when I need to.
