Wow! This "pick up extra shift" reminded me that I went on an interview yesterday for a position at the hospital 7 days On and 7 days Off/ 10 hour shift. I won't know anything until tomorrow. But My God, 7 days straight for 10 hours a day =70 hours a week. I'm too old for that. I hope they don't offer me the job.
These jobs really do not care about families and a person's health and well being.
