Actually had this happen to me. Told the foreman he and I needed to have a talk. After sitting on my car waiting a half hour for him to come out, police showed up and told me I was trespassing and had to leave.

Firing someone at the END of their shift is dangerous, especially when they didn't do anything wrong. "DOWNSIZING" is something you let folks know in advance.
