Have you ever been pregnant or given birth to a baby???.. a women may have had her breast removed, have a hysterectomy or may not had ever given birth. Hormones make the difference between male and female. Hormones not body parts make a real woman.... Y’all have to get injections for female hormones (synthetic). As a real woman grows older her body loses estrogen which makes her more susceptible to osteoporosis and heart diseases. Hormones are our make up not the kind you put on your face.

I’m so confused as to how y’all think being a man or woman is about feelings and not the actuality that males are born with a penis and females are born with vaginas. Biological women have fought long and hard for equal rights and we still cannot get the same pay and promotions like our male counterparts. Now, here comes a group of men who choose to identify as women that are driving legislation to replace biological women in jobs, sports, etc. It would appear that the patriarchal system is determined to force biological women back into the kitchen and birthing children. Anyone who is supporting blurring the lines between women and transgender people, need to think about this and the impact it will have on women's liberation and the Black struggle.
    Additionally, it is scientifically proven that only the female gender can have a menstruation, conceive a child and give birth to it. For argument's sake, even if a body is surgically altered, these biological facts remain. The elephant in the room is heterosexual individuals have a right to know a person's biological gender before they embark upon an encounter/relationship. This is no different than a right to know a person's marital and HIV status. It's about being accountable for your actions and the decisions you make. When you can accept who you are and the choices that you've made, you do not need to convince people otherwise. This is the heart of accountability.

    1000% disagree with the idea that both trans and cis women can equally understand infertility. There is a huge difference between a defect and something that can never happen. The thing is, even a cis woman with fertility issues has a chance at becoming pregnant. A trans woman could never be pregnant. The experience is completely different. Trans women are grappling with the fact that they know conceiving a child in their body is impossible. Cis women are grappling with the fact that something in them that is supposed to work, doesn’t. Completely different experiences, completely and I’m kinda annoyed she said that.

      Exactly. Women who can't give birth are dealing with infertility issues or they've had a hysterectomy or they're experiencing menopause but they're still women whether they can give birth or not because they biologically female and were SUPPOSED to.
      The reason why a mtf transgender/transsexual can not give birth isn't because of infertility issues, it's bc they're biological males, they're NOT supposed to give birth.
      Males have penises and scrotums/balls, they produce sperm that penetrate a Woman's egg.
      So mtf transgenders can have have babies! They can impregnate and ejaculate inside of 9 women and have 9 babies in 9 months. Whereas the woman with infertility issues is having difficulty having 1 baby so it's insulting when they try to compare women who can't give birth to mtf transgenders who can not give birth to somehow try to make the bogus claim that we are both the same when we are NOT.
      As women of biological experience, we are extremely different from Mtf transgenders and our womanhood experience & struggle is absolutely nothing like the Transgenderhood experience that they go through!!!

      You are confusing sex with gender. Those are two different things. Sex is determined before birth but not gender. Sex is biological. Gender is cultural. It's confusing to people because the two terms have been unfortunately used interchangeably for years. When you give birth to a baby...the doctor doesn't say "this is the gender of your child". They say "the sex of the child is male...or female". Technically instead of "gender reveal parties" it should be "sex reveal parties" because that's actually scientifically more accurate. I think the problem started when people only associated the word sex with sexual intercourse. Well, it's not true...your sex is based on your body parts...it determines whether you are male or female for biological purposes.

Please explain more on how gender is "cultural". The new definition of gender was altered not a while ago therefore it was developed as time grew and opinions change and generations past. Does not take away from the original meaning of the word. For instance the term "Daddy." Many people use it as a sexual term and it is now fetishized however that does not mean that the "father" definition of the word no longer occurs. It just means that people try not to use it for the new definition that was added onto it but before it still holds it's original meaning whether people interpret it differently or not.

In the same token, trans women don’t share the experiences of what it’s like to grow from a girl to a woman. Women being infertile is due to an unfortunate infertility female issue but the reasons why Trans are infertile is self inflicted because they take drugs that effects their ability to create sperm, or they've had their male genitals cut off. That's why.
      it's not because they're infertile like women, it's because they're biological men and to say we experience being infertile (both cis & trans) was insulting bc we're not Cis and because we're biological women.

      Yeah, what Shar tried to do was to try to shame Women away from discussing our womanhood experiences and saying that we are REDUCING ourselves down to what makes us Women to define our womanhood And "Aren't u more than that" was policing language and a shaming tactic.
      shaming tactics is what many Trans use to try to silent us bc when we (real women ) discuss the girlhood and womanhood experiences that shapes us as women, the transgenders feel insecure excluded and invalidated bc they can't relate to our journey, joy, plight and struggles so they throw out shaming language and silencing tactics to shut us up bc our womanhood experiences makes them feel inadequate.
      This is the real reason why they want to force us to call ourselves Cisgender Women/Ciswomen instead of just WOMEN. It ain't got nothing to do with science!
      The real truth is that they just don't want us to call ourselves WOMEN. That's the real reason.
      when we say "DONT CALL ME CIS. .I'M A WOMAN...I'M A REAL WOMAN "..it triggers mtf transgenders to their core bc us acknowledging our existences as Women is a reminder to them that they are still males, or men in some people's eyes.

While I disagree with the tran hatred, the forcing of the pronouns toward others especially toward women are concerning. I am a woman, not a birthing person, a person who menustrate, and definitely will not accept being called a cis-female. This is not a trend to have all these new labels w the younger kids. If we want the conservative to check and balance ultra conservative going rogue, than as a mirror that we have to check the ultra progressive utilizing cancel culture inaccurately, the forcing of pronouns and etc. This is the only way the moderates and harmony will be restored.

    Wait so having my identity as a woman be based around my experience of caring and womb and my day-to-day interactions with having a womb is somehow diminishing myself and patriarchy? Notice how she said vagina didn’t even say womb! This is the problem that I have at the transconversation it is completely dismissive of the lived experience of womb-man! My every day life is impacted by the overall health and vitality of my womb! This conversation always comes off as diminishing if dismissive of the significance of the womb and how the womb plays a huge role in our lives as women. The audacity of someone who’s never had a womb to speak with such great authority about what it means to have one! Sorry I’m very spiritual and as a spiritual person I understand that the womb is the center of my overall being as a woman I am also a witch and I practice in ancestral worship I know that my connection to my ancestors is through my womb... so I’m sorry I’m not here for this conversation of my womb is not significance to my experience as a woman it very much is. I think that we are conflating our spiritual selves with our physical self. The physical fleshy tissue body that I am in has the title of women my spiritual essence as a person who I am spiritually is female my spiritual side is fully aligned with my physical side. However in the trans community what you have is people spiritual side not fully alined with their physical. so while you can have a man body your spiritual identity and spiritual essence can be female. which would make you female and make you feminine and put you right next to us as females but that does not make you womb-man! I Believe Transfemale is the correct term to use. Believe they are female and should be able to express there femininity any way they want and be accepted as female...that doesn’t mean they are womb-man! Sorry if that offends anyone but I invite you to read a book called “ The secret woman” this book goes into great detailed knowledge of the significance role the womb plays in the day-to-day lives of women.

    Cisgender (sometimes cissexual, often abbreviated to simply cis) is a term for people whose gender identity matches their sex assigned at birth. For example, someone who identifies as a woman and was assigned female at birth is a cisgender woman. The term cisgender is the opposite of the word transgender. Cisgender has its origin in the Latin-derived prefix cis-, meaning "on this side of", which is the opposite of trans-, meaning "across from" or "on the other side of". This usage can be seen in the cis-trans distinction in chemistry, the cis-trans or complementation test in genetics, in Ciscaucasia (from the Russian perspective), in the ancient Roman term Cisalpine Gaul (i.e., "Gaul on this side of the Alps"), Ciskei and Transkei (separated by the Kei River), and more recently, Cisjordan, as distinguished from Transjordan. In the case of gender, cis- describes the alignment of gender identity with assigned sex.[4] en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cisgender ----- PERSONALLY I WOULD RATHER BE CALLED A REAL WOMAN!!

    • @vinessawess4401
      @vinessawess4401 Před 2 lety +4

      @JustThrive
      CISGENDER is a newly made up term and the term that's less than 28 years old.
      Cis is an old Latin Literature term and science chemistry term and contrary what the trans people & non- binary folks say, the Foundational origin of CIS had absolutely nothing to do with gender or the sex you were so-called "assigned" as.
      In the 1990s, A German ssxolog¡st and gender studies college students borrowed, stole & usurp the *CIS* word to use for their own agenda relating to transsexual issues and made the CIS word a gender issue as an excuse to create 2 DIFFERENT types of women (CIS & TRAN) underneath the umbrella of Womanhood so that Women & Transsexuals can be 2 different types of women that are the opposite of each other which is quite insulting to say the least because Women are NOT the opposite of MtF transgenders/Transsexuals !!
      Women are the opposite of Men!
      On the SCIENCE side of the Latin term, the Foundational origin of CIS & TRANS had to do with science and molecules...NOT GENDER identity! Cisgender is a made up term created in the 90s.
      On the Literature side of the Latin term,
      *CIS* means to CUT, SLICE , OR KILL which again has has absolutely nothing to do with Gender, Sex or how you identify nor what u were "assigned" at birth.
      as WOMEN, if we don't want to use CIS and redefine our womanhood and associate our identity with a term that means destruction, cutting and murder then i think we have every right to reject that cis/Cisgender nonsense and just identify ourselves as WOMEN, REAL WOMEN, natural born or Biological women!
      We are *WOMEN*. ....that's our Birthright!! CIS, CisWoman, Cis-hetero, Fish, AFAB & Cisgender is stupid , redundant, insulting and unnecessary!!
      *SO I AGREE WITH YOU, PERSONALLY.... I WOULD RATHER BE DEFINED AS A REAL WOMAN TOO!*
