Transgender women don't realize the advantages they have of not being born as a female. They don't have to bleed for 40 years. They have the strength of a male. They can get pleased 100% of the time during sex. They can naturally impregnate a woman.

I would encourage you to learn the difference between gender and sex. There is no such thing as a "natural born" woman. "Natural born" female, yes. Woman and female are not the same.

My thoughts: I can be an ally but my issue stems from SOME tranwomen navigating the female space as caricatures of ridiculous tropes and stereotypes of black women. We aren't costumes. That pisses me off. We aren't a monolith and don't all act the same. My other issue is seeing black women championing each other and now transwomen want to partake in the celebration like many racially ambiguous women do on "black culture."It's like they want our rhythm but not our blues.
I get it, there are things that are exclusive to natural born women that transwomen will never experience but to constantly criticize and require this embrace from black women when that same embrace isn't even given to black women by anyone is crazy!

Look I've tried very hard to see trans women as women. To consider them as I consider myself a woman and I just don't. I don't. Sorry. I'll call a trans woman by the preferred pronoun but I will not actually believe she is a woman. I cannot lie to myself like that. I do not see trans women as real women. Trans women are men with gender dysphoria. I do not suffer from that dysphoria so I don't see what they see. If everyone else was honest, including transwomen, I don't think they see themselves as real women either. If they did I don't think there would be so much concern with muting and neutralizing feminine terms and language that they cannot lay claim to. Also as a biological woman, when transwomen try and tell me what I can and cannot say or do, it just feels all too familiar. It feels like any other man telling me what I can do as a woman. Like I want transwomen to be happy I really do. But if my validation or belief in their womanhood is what's required for that happiness then I'm sorry but transwomen are going to be sad forever.
