Do prefer the crossfader cap to sit slightly higher though so have stuck on an old Vestax cap which fits the stem

Although I don't own one yet, this turntable, based on it's specs and DVS capabilities, this will be the best 7" portable scratch turntable to date. There isn't anything on the market as good as this out right now. I need to buy one of these asap!!!!!

@@ZSonicSound I'm was just about to purchase, but, then I thought I'd better check a few more details before doing so. Can I ask if you've tried using it with Serato Dj Pro? My secondary purpose for this wonderful turntable is to use it with Serato, and I do not own an iPhone (nor am I planning getting one).

@@headachesound6345 I was just about to buy one of these wonderful turntables, have a few questions for answers I haven't been able to obtain from your website.
      1) Can I ask if it works with Traktor? My secondary use for this turntable is to use it in DVS mode.
      2) Also, someone has already asked in the comment section of this video, but, if you have the batteries installed, and you plug in the mains to power the turntable, would the power source switch from the batteries to power from the mains? This is important to me because I would be using it not only outdoors, but also indoors (which makes more sense for me to use the mains, especially which use of the DVS feature).
      3) do you have to remove the batteries to charge them up, or is there a micro usb port which would allow you to do so without the removal of the batteries?
I don't mean to ask so much questions, but, I truly am unable to find this information anywhere on your website. Maybe you guys should do a Q & A video or a live stream where you answer a bunch of questions and then post to CZcams. It would seem that there are quite a few people ready to pull the trigger so to speak and purchase this innovative turntable but, with the lack of answers to similar questions listed above, it makes buyers a bit hesitant.
Thank you for this amazing turntable by the way, it goes without saying, but the huge selling point for this turntable is the fact that has all the the tools/features you need, straight out of the box, unlike the Numark PT01 Scratch or the Reloop Spin. No need to have to annoyingly buy parts for it to get it to perform at a satisfactory/pro level like the other two portable turntables mentioned. I feel if this turntable will gain legendary status very quickly!

Thank you for this tutorial, I just pre-ordered a Black one.
I'm already using 18650 batteries for my vape device and I'm planning to get new ones.
My question is, does the OMNI require flat tops or with nipples?
On the description it says between 1000-2000mah, is it ok to use 18650s that are higher than 2000mah?
    Thank you
    Cheers!

Hey guys! Can someone please explain the difference of the „blink“ meaning? On the website is written: CHARGING - BLINK FULLY CHARGED / BATTERIES LESS THAN 20% - BLINK
Is there a difference in the speed of the blinking, when its fully charged and when its under 20% ? Thx!!

Let's say I put 2 18650s in the Omni, AND i plug it in with a power source. Will the omni bypass the batteries, and rely on the power source instead? What if you add the power+DVS into the equation?

@@notmyrealaccount8564 Yeah, I don't think 2 batteries would last that long either, if using them whilst DVS mode is enabled. A potential problem I'm relation to rechargeable batteries and the Omni is, if there's no switch, to switch the Omni's power source from the rechargeable batteries to the main, it will main that eventually you'll overcharge the batteries to the point they become defective.
To get around that issue, you'd have to run down the batteries on the Omni, then plug in the mains, and then disconnect when the batteries are fully charged. It sounds straight forward, but, in reality, it is so easy to accidentally overcharging batteries of any kind, so I would imagine that although people would be using good quality rechargeable batteries, perhaps within several months they'll experience reduced battery life until they'll have to get new ones again, and the circle of buying rechargeable batteries will go on, and on, and on..... Obviously this is just a theory, but, it's a theory based on my antidotal experiences. Batteries don't like being constantly over/under charged, and in the theory I've mentioned, that's exactly what will happen if the users battery management ain't on point (which let's face it, I don't know a single soul that is good at making sure they don't over/under charge their devices). Also, the position of the battery charge light would have been better placed on top of the turntable, that way, when you're scratching you'll know exactly when it's about to die, or it's fully charged.
This Omni turntable is an amazing product based on specs, but, we need more review videos so that potential buyers like myself and the creator of this thread which I'm commenting on can know all the pro's and cons before purchasing it. Hopefully Headache Sounds can do some sort of Q&A video soon in regards to the many questions that are accumulating.

I got my Omni a few days ago and emailed them a simular question. This was the response: "it always use the usb power when it’s plugged in. And it also charges and plays at the same time. There is a charging led between 2 USB ports at the back. It flashes when charging, stay on when fully charged. When playing, stay on when more than 20% battery, flashes when lower than 20% battery life."
      Hope that helps
