    I own a 2001 Land cruiser, filter the oil, and into the car.
    Drives better than pump diesel.

    It's not a planet. It's a plane. Great songs. Nice adventure. In 1945, International built a tractor that would burn any fuel. Some were modified to run on the unburnt gasses from a small burner.

    "The diesel engine can be fed with vegetable oils and would help considerably in the development of agriculture of the countries which use it...The use of vegetable oils for engine fuels may seem insignificant today. But such oils may become in course of time as important as petroleum and the coal tar products of the present time." Rudolf Diesel

    Did they strain off the glycerin and methanol? I have an 84 Mercedes 300TD wagon and plan to just use Straight Vegetable Oil, not processed into biodiesel

    The fact it's illegal in some countries that openly support fighting *climate change* is appalling.

      joe cristie this is true but it is more efficient if u make a bio fuel in the sense that u gat mot miles per litre than normal cooking oil

    You are lucky in Hungary you don't get Metanol. If you have a licence and a conpany you cen buy Metanol as domestic person no. But i could make from Etanol wich is verry expensive at us.

    So if biodiesel so affored why do we have gas espsly when you live in Europe like I do wher a leter costs pound 1.14 wich is nuts comped the price that bio must cost to make must be 10p a leter and gal arowed 90 pence the only down side to it seems to be that it burns faster but so did cars in 50s and 60s wic h does not matter considering that were dumping louds in landfill of oil and 20 years on from this oil has gone to crazy prices and we want electric cars that use battery made from cobalt wich we no that there only a certain amount untill it's gone like gas wic h makes them the same as oil cars in reality and the smell coud be changed by adding fragrances into the oil i guess.but

    Is it not possible just to use straight used veg oil into a diesel engine? Why all the faffing about with toxic chemicals? Problem is not enough used veg oil to handle transport needs for one city let alone a country.

  • @redwolfpiping5701
    @redwolfpiping5701 Před 2 lety

    Also, it is not exactly safe making biodiesel as you have to handle caustics and methanol that can explode under heat

    Actually Diesel invented the engine to run on coal dust not oil !!!!!!!
