There have been many actors trained in martial arts like Arjun, Bhanuchander, Suman etc but none of them could not come up with an idea like this. Pawan deserves extra appreciation for coming up with this idea of doing real stunts, adding an English song (which was a big risk in 90's since masses would not like it) and people totally went crazy with this song. Thanks for giving us this classic visual Pawan. Appreciate Vijay as well for trying to meet it. He was almost there.

Not a fan of PK but i must say, i really love this movie #thammudu!! Love everything about PK in this movie! He deserves all the appreciation for his amazing performace in this movie and i remember it used to be first of its kind of movie back in the day!! When Vijay came up with its remake, although he is a good actor in Tamil Nadu and with all due respect, sadly he couldn't match Pawan when it comes to martial arts and acting!

Pawan's was the best for obvious reasons that it was original and he didn't have to go through that for the film in 90's, he himself came up with the idea of adding a motivational song in the script and he put his life for it. But I really appreciate Vijay for trying to live up to the mark set by Pawan and he almost did. Both deserve equal appreciation.
