I always thought the RTX filter was the best, but it's clear that RNN is better. I came here because I was doing my own testing and thought I was crazy that RNN sounded better, but this just confirmed it.
There are different models (with different training) for RNNoise (which is probably how zoom does it). On my setup I have easyeffects with some things to accompany RNNoise (like echocancel, compressor, deesser and gate) working systemwide on linux and typing/mouse clicks get completely shut off if I'm not talking.
You can also set up RTX Voice as an OBS plugin so it is available as a noise suppression filter

Yes! I looked into that as well, but came away with the impression that the plugin only works with RTX and Quadro cards. The app also works with my GTX card.
Your background noise is not loud enough. You should have used those simulated sounds like people in restaurants/bar, blender/dogs barking/baby crying in the background.

Sounds like a great setup!

For some reason, the VST version is really glitchy, both in OBS and Elgato Wave Link. It works better for me in the Nvidia Broadcast app.
@ This makes sense as to why it doesn't work as well. it literally functions better on an RTX card. no cap.
@@StewartStewart Did you figure out why?
RNNoise is better for me, because when I used a RTX Voice on my GTX 1660, It's load a GPU and Frame Buffer to 35-40% when I talked.
That's a big resource hog indeed!
Uhmm you're just not going to test RTX Voice at 100% slider? It literally silences all noise...
Also the new Nvidia broadcast is 1000 times better.
Did I mention my brain was not working with all that background noise? I'm pretty sure I mentioned it.
@@SPVCEMVNMUSIC is it better than RNNoise?
@@lakutomafoso Haven't tried it myself. I can right now and let you know, though. lol One sec..
@ lmao that's fair.
Thanks for sharing, Amazing video!
Thanks for watching!
Both of them distort my voice when I'm using it to silence my laptop fans.
Yes there will always be a bit of distortion.
Wow I think RNN wins
Yes, it's a good plugin!
imho RNN is so much better

Great idea for a future video!
Объективно говоря, похоже что именно RTX Voice является фаворитом в данном сражении (VS) лайк ;)
