its not showing up the option of vbs virtual camera on google meet...

I just got a proper micro usb for tethering. It works with EOS utility program BUT it doesnt work or show up on OBS at all when i try to add my canon camera. I dont know what the problem is 🤦🏽‍♀

Thank you so much! I had the second problem and you helped me with it. I had the right wire but didn't know that some wires are meant for charging only and some have the capability to transmit data even though they have the exact same ports. Thank you :)

The blank key caps thing is totally about trying to justify having your keyboard look badass and kewl while being objectively less usable. The problem with blank keys isn't touch typing its all the special keys to the side. At a minimum I use print screen enough for it to be annoying but not enough to remember its exact location.

I think comedy should first and foremost be funny, the second priority would be it being irreverent and rebellious. Unfortunately no one can control what other people are going to feel irreverent and rebellious towards

I got OBS virtual camera to work with ZOOM and google meet but I have yet to get it to work with FaceTime in Windows 10. I am running the latest version of OBS. Have you been able to get OBS virtual camera to work with FaceTime?

Thank you for the tutorials ... I am looking at using OBS for my Zoom therapy sessions where I need to share slides and also use another camera for 'written notes' showing the client. Still working on a few things and getting things right for just 2 windows, but my only issue is I need to record in gallery mode as well (still working out how best to do this AND use your tutorials). Thanks so much for sharing your expertise!

None of these helped solve my problem, my camera shows me, in OBS is says EOS WEBCAM UTILITY with black screen.. it’s not my cable bc it connects fine with live view in utility app

What if the Virtual camera doesn't show up in the Zoom list, and yes I have the virtual camera on in OBS.

I always have problems with this stupid Webcam Utility.. it's just shows EOS Webcam Uility in Source but I can't get it to show video... I've completely uninstalled EOS Utility

In case it helps for anyone else not being able to resolve the "EOS Webcam Utility" showing on screen in Zoom/Google instead of your camera feed is - ensure that your camera is turned on BEFORE you fire up EOS Webcam Utility Pro. I found that if EOS Webcam Utility Pro was open before my camera was on, the software wouldn't pick up the camera afterwards (at least on the free version. I'm not sure if the same is on the Pro version).

Just buy 2 screw base mounted cold shoe that will solve the problem

I have the virtual cables equalizing with obs but the output is heard with static and the microphone without the vb cables does not sound so I don't know what to do

Thank you so much, I was literally going mad because I could not figure out why EOS Webcam utility immediately disconnecting from my camera. Turn off EOS utility and bam no problems with webcam utility.

I have a question - I personally monitor via Voicemeeter because I get delayed audio when monitoring via OBS. Is it possible to output the audio signal from OBS to Zoom without monitoring?

However, when I looked at its construction, I felt that the result would be exactly as you described, so I did some research and came across your video. Unfortunately, as it turns out, I was right. The NEEWER with the double screw seems to be the right choice.

This video literally saved me. I was struggling so much with my Canon M50. There was always Usb not connected (red X) problem. I always thought the software was the problem. But it turns out, the USB cable was. Never thought about the cable being the problem. Finally, after watching this video, I tried about 5 USB cables lying around my home and one worked at last. All this time, I was trying with HDMI connection but didn't know that was the wrong path. Luckly bought a cheap USB to HDMI interface. Thanks a lot for this video. 👍👍👍 First time didn't work, I thought new M1 Mac didn't support, so not working. Second time didn't work, I thought Intel Mac didnt' support. Third time tried dual booting on Mac with Windows and also didn't work. Then only realised it's a USB connection not HDMI. It took around 3 years for me to finally fix this issue. Haha 😆
