Hey Phindile, please check the links in the description box under the video 😊 Some banks help with the application, you can ask your bank.
Unfortunately some banks don't want to assist, especially if they can see that you qualify for their home loan, I tried with FNB, and they were not willing to assist me. And because I was in a hurry to buy that property and I didn't want to waste time as I struggled to find it and it was very good investment. Even the attorney were behind my back telling me that lot of people wanted to buy that property. But I was so disappointed but excited to have a property.
What do you do when you don't have a child but do have family depending on you? How do you prove that?
I think you’d need their ID documents and an affidavit stating that. When applying you can inquire about what would be accepted to prove dependency.

Applied in March 2020 via DHS Alberton… offices closed and application now at NHFC who uses a different criteria. Application approved but NHFC not given funding to pay approved DHS applicants… it’s 2022 now. Man I love this government 🤮
