Watching this video just makes me want this kind of game even more than I already did! Except without the live service, cuz that has been dragging down superhero games lately. Marvel's Avengers, Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad being prime examples.

One of the ideas I had for this game was basing it off the Edge of the Spiderverse storyline, where the philosophy of anyone can wear the mask is shown.
See Marvel explained how the multiverse was created. There two goddess Shatra and Neith. Their mother wanted a large ceslestial map of the multiverse, Shathra wanted a Nest or a hive like a wasp and she’s the queens all organized and she can rule with authority. Neith said no and created the web of life and destiny where everyone can be free and make their own choices and the spiders can repair it.
Shathra saw this as a perversion on the cosmos itself and vows for vengeance
