Splitgate and titanfall are not in the same tier

I loved spellbreak, the endless combinations of abilities and how you could use those utilities not just for attacking people but for movement was really fun, one of my most favourite games of all time.
I agree it’s so sad that it got shut down
All great games that do something slightly different come to an end. People want basic ass bullshit like COD and Fortnite.

I’m genuinely so sad that titanfall 2 is considered dead. One of the best games of all time imo
Straight truth.
It is my favorite game and I don’t think mwII can even top it. Just too good 😔
Fr
I agree, my favorite game of all time as well
dead game is basically game that dont get update anymore
I was with Spellbreak since its Alpha stage, and to see such a fun and unique BR just slowly wither away was heartbreaking. I really hope we see another game like it soon
same here it makes me sad too :(
Knockout city was so good and never understood why people werent playing that much, game is so fun with friends, ranked, cosemtics, skill, reflexes. A really cool game that didn't hit the spotlight he needed. I will have a great memory of this game
Probably because the game just looks terrible
That's exactly why I never played it
Looked mid and still ran like trash
Cap. Yur prolly jus bad at it
It was pretty ugly, but damn the gameplay felt great since it’s like a parrying trainer.
I liked it and played it during free trial but didnt like it enough to justify spending money right away. Maybe if it was free I would buy something down the line but idk, I would definitely play it for free tho
Spellbreak broke my heart. Definitely deserved better :(
100% Agree with u man
Dude, same. I loved that game, and just for it to end was depressing.
They nerfed toxic, they deserved it.
How dare they remove the cloud dash.
There is a community version where you can host servers but sadly its only for pc
One of the only game I was good at
Spellbreak deserved so much more of a spotlight in gaming. such a damn good game and they cared about the community as well. art style and combat was awesome and unique with a play style for everyone. I was so damn good with that wind main fire off combo. it will be missed.
I really love SB but game didn't get any major updates that could keep the game fresh. That's why its servers shut down
Facts I remember hearing about the game and wanted to play so bad finally got it and then it just dies randomly.
its discontinued
I was so close to buying a skin from farming but waiting for a new game took about 15 to 45 munutes, when queing with friends it was faster, it was the first game i played on pc
The only battle royale asides from Warzone 2 that got my first official BR win, I'll forever hold Spellbreak close to my heart
HyperScape, Rogue Company, and SplitGate were such AMAZING games the 3 were the only games that I would go to for casual play all of them were unique in their own way.
sad to see it's playerbase fallshort
They were all trash
i genuinely love rogue company, i think the third person advantage of looking around corners is actually great. it means (at a high level obviously, which i play a good amount of ranked) you can’t just run around and run and gun, you have to be strategic. if you think someone might be behind a corner you can run out really quick and roll back, and usually they’ll think you’re just running out and try and shoot you, and then you know where they are, i genuinely love the game. the worst thing for me is teammates. even in ranked modes i get teammates who look like they’ve never touched a game in their life. i think it’s great though, same for hyperscape, such cool ideas and high skill ceiling, but it WAS very easy to win and get a lot of kills if you knew how to use the abilities well against newer players. splitgate was a weird one for me. it was cool, the portals idea was so awesome but the gameplay was just mid to me. felt like halo with portals, which i didn’t care for how halo’s pvp system worked, so i didn’t care to play it much, but thought the idea was very cool.
@@yballaw2714beautiful comment, coming from a rogue player!
I watched a video essay semi recently that went into detail on why Spellbreak died and it's honestly kinda sad. I loved the game cus it was so unique and felt so good and rewarding to play. The lack of new gauntlets was one issue, but they kept changing huge aspects of the game that in turn turned people away. It really is a tragedy that what the devs just couldn't figure out what they were doing. I guess there's a Spellbreak 2 coming and I'm hoping they learned from Spellbreak 1 and it actually does thrive. The BR scene needs something like this to shake up the genre and refresh it a little bit.
Also Titanfall 2 is goated and it did not deserve the fate it got. I know the head of the dev team has stated (a few times iirc) that he really wants to make Titanfall 3, but APEX is just too big. We may never see Titanfall 3 just cus EA is EA.
what spellbreak 2 you talking about?
I think Titanfall 3 has a chance. EA currently has no premium fps. EA isn't dumb; they know people desperately want a Titanfall 3 and they can make money off that. So hopefully it comes to light and it's as good as we think it's going to be.
I had high hopes for spell break. I'm sad that it died I loved it.
My friend and I got it the day it released and we were so excited to be "ogs" on a new upcoming game, sad to see it go too

Both TF2s (Team Fortress 2 and Titanfall 2) I feel as long as their owners don't somehow go out of their way to scrub it from existence, it will be the most scraping by dead games, because I know how passionate people are for both of them, considering I am a player of both of them.
Both of them not S tier, but GOD tier
As I’m a player of both of them too
Fun thing is it may not look like it but Team Fortess 2 is one of the most played games in steam I think at one point it had 70000 concurrent players buts it’s all because of the community

I actually REALLY enjoyed Knockout City. It was very different and the gameplay was honestly so fun
Man you're spot on about splitgate.
No scoping with a sniper in SG felt CLEAN. Infinite feels so clunky
I sunk like 200 hours in Rogue Company, it was kinda my guilty pleasure considering barely anyone played it. It was fun playing it on and off for a while, until it got super boring for some reason. My favourite "dead" game for sure.
I had a ton of fun on it too until I started playing ranked, I got to one of the highest ranks and the game turned into a one shot simulator with people only using grenades, c4 and weapon throws with very very few kills with guns, that’s when it got boring for me 😂
game kinda turned into a crouch baiting game, i loved it so much. And played so many hours of it, but as the years go on. Theres not any actually "fighting, or gun fights" its just a "wait behind cover" game and spray someone down, in which they cant react and die. Granted, it is a bomb planting game.. still it's 3rd person. People could've done more lol, kinda feels like it died due to player base.
I still play it
I still play rogue company all the time! :D
@@JyNx_ matchmaking killed it for me and my buds.
Spellbreak had tons of potential, lots of skins couldve been made same with updates. There are so many things you can come up with to add into a game like spellbreak, infinite amounts of gamemodes, map changes, new gauntlets, new elemental reactions and lots more. I was obsessed with the game when i played it, it was a ton of fun, for me personally its in the 2nd spot on my battle royale tierlist, really sad it died.
Loved that game
the issue with the gautlets is that each one is suposed to represent a gun ex:toxic for shotgun, wind for ar etc. but they cant market that many guns. there's also the elemental limitation since there isnt many elements that they could use. the game i feel could have continued if they added new runes or something but thats pretty much all they could do

The main thing in my opinion that’s ruining Pokémon is the NPC’s. Sword and Shield was good because the npc’s mostly aren’t annoying. Hop was good because throwing in one good Npc like a goofy one is good but in Scarlet and Violet the NPC’s are terrible all of them are just awful because having that girl ( Ihaven’t played Violet in a while. Nothing against women) She was sooooo annoying. I remember playing with my friends and remember being so annoyed whenever an Npc walked over. The concept is good and Greninja is in the game but the NPC’s ruined it. Also going to school to actually progress was an awful gross idea. When I come home from school I don’t wanna see it till tomorrow.
Honestly spell break just brings back so many memories the game was busted had sooooo much potential it's really sad but management killed this game it could have been so much more. Loved it so sad it died I'd play it for so long with my two more friends nostalgia
I love extraction, something about using guns against parasite zombies and not other players was something I liked.
@@williamhenderson1739 it was its own game lol
@fabioj- I see my grammar was messed up, thank you. I mean, if they had stuck with what the outbreak even started as. And made that into extraction, instead of what it turned into. Thank you for catching that for me!
I want to go to the timeline where we get Titanfall 3 and more of this game , it is amazing
titanfall 2 is amazing and a top 3 FPS ever and was head of its time
Respawn keeps teasing that a TF3 is coming, so don’t lose hope
TitanFall 3 is a real game.
I legit hope they dont work on Titanfall 3 because I dont think the current Respawn/EA is able to produce a good tf3 right now. If they release tf3 with their current team/marketing strategy it would be an unfinished mess pumped with microtransactions and that would kill of the franchise pretty hard
@@t1z3l40 fuck it, I don’t care if they make all the cosmetics microtransactions, so long as I get my gun and get to go through the old gameplay loop but with actual matchmaking. If someone can do something to make it explode in popularity again, I think there’s hope
I honestly loved Hyperscape,i thought ot was super fun and extremely unique.
It's a shame Ubi never supported it to the extent it deserved.
Couldn't agree more. Hyperscape was so good.
Facts, I played it with my friends up to the day they shut it down, towards the end it would only be us and like 2 other people playing, rip hyperscape
a common issue i keep seeing is developers realeasing games too early, halo and fall guys are great examples because if they were released in their current states, like you said they would do phenomenaly. So i think developers need to hold fire and make sure their games are perfected before launching them
Except devs don't decide when they release a game. Executives and shareholders decide when the game launches. They can always ask for more time and ask to push back the deadline but at the end of the day, the decision is in the hands of rich old guys who probably never played a video game in their life and just see this as a monetary opportunity.
Such a good video to catch up on some games
15:06 The whole game was based around their most successful and popular limited time outbreak game mode, and for some reason they decided to detach it from the main game and charge $50 for it even though it was worse than the original event
And I think everyone would've just enjoyed a normal anti-terrorist game with the operator we all know and love
All they had to do was make some type of campaign for siege, then I would’ve been satisfied
Ah yes genius idea let's slap a 70 GB update to siege, forcing people to download it for an entirely different game mode, even if they dont want to play that mode
It's a shame that nobody remembers GIGANTIC. Wildly creative take on the MOBA formula, with a phenomenal cast of characters and amazing gameplay. By far the coolest MOBA on the market, and the only one I genuinely enjoyed playing.
You just unlocked a memory I don't even know I had I remember I always used to go to Microsofts store just to play the game while my mom was shopping . Don't know if it's the nostalgia speaking or what but from what I remember it was An amazing game with great potential
Gigantic was literally like one of the only MOBA's that i liked i miss it so much lol
I was literally just thinking of this game I used to always play the karate frog dude 😭😭😭
This vid is the most Zoomer tier list I have ever seen. Not just missing Gigantic, but wheres my Firefall, Blacklight Retribution, Dirty Bomb, Evolve, and even Battleborne. So much games that I have fond memories of, all buried by time.
I was so pissed when they shut down the servers
I really really loved multiverse. I hope they can get it done in release. The thing that stopped me from playing was the server were so so bad, at least on na East. I would play with my brother, both in Ethernet and just lag and lag at 100 ping and was so annoying to play. I loved the game though hopefully it makes a come back
Macro, I’ve never seen you my guy, idk how you got in my recommended, however this video was a joy to watch, you can have my sub bro
Fall Guys map maker is such a good idea like it can get new players and even new content creators having fun it honestly deserved much better it just needs to embrace players creativity

Multiversus and Hyper Scape had so much potential. Spellbreak was one of the finest games I ever played, I’m so disappointed it died.

@Wiggle Master it has a lot of potential but devs gave up
I think multiverses is getting rereleased. The version we played was the beta
@Rnj_fighter 14 yes it's coming back early 2024
I’m so happy Halo is turning a new face. Season 4 and 5 have been great. I haven’t been keeping up with the dev side but I feel like they just listened to mint blitz and his advice and that helped them so much. Like everytime mint releases a video it feels like in the next 2 weeks his bug fix or balance or even new thing comes to reality. Like Mint represents the average halo player and I love it.
as someone who made it to legend in the dominion ranked it was truly heartbreaking when it was shut down. i think what killed it was when they reworked all the gauntlets and changed the pacing of the fights
For me, the 2v2 in multiverse was actually more fun, it removes some of that competition tension so you can actually just have fun while playing

Bro!!! I just had to come back to your vid to say TITANFALL ISN'T DEAD NO MORE!!! WOOOOOOOO!!! 🙌🤸🍻🎉
I wanna also add evolve, that game was dogshit on release but when they re-released it as a free game it was genuinely the best 4v1 concept I've ever seen. That game was overhauled to the extreme and they genuinely killed it. It was like the 4 player synergy of deep rock galactic and it's classes versus the overpowering kit of a fighting game character that has an answer to everything but is never too op. Makes me sad it got shut down
I fucking loved that game.
biggest issue for Evolve was the dev team. They didn't manage to balance the game, but to be fair it is an extremely difficult game to balance. One of it's biggest issues though was it on release being pushed as a heavy esports game, which failed so incredibly fast. There is still a discord of like 60,000 people who are talking about the game, play with each other, and do have their own little tournaments between each other. However the intense push for it to be a top-tier esport gave it a horrible look to people wanting to get into it.
@@doomination1408 The dev team actually had a lot of love for Evolve, as evidenced by Stage 2. But I do agree with the forcing of e-sports onto an unbalanced game.
The major reason Evolve was doomed from the beginning was marketing and the higher-ups. They marketed Evolve as a fast-paced shooter that COD fans would enjoy when the gameplay was slower and more akin to LoL with the heavy emphasis on abilities. It drew in the wrong audience that abandonded it quickly. It also didn't help the game was rushed to meet a deadline and base game content changed last minute to be day-one DLC. The higher-ups did not believe Evolve would do well and decided to milk the game for as much money as possible from launch no matter the cost to the game.
Most balance issues were ironed out in Stage 2 and the Devs were planning more reworks and balance changes before the game stopped being funded. If Evolve was marketed correctly the game could have fostered a proper community as it was genuinely unique in the asymmetrical genre. To this day, it is the only game you could hunt cool ass raid boss-style monsters or be that cool ass raid boss-style monster in a competitive, online game. I'll never forget tracking, cornering, and trapping a monster with my friends and then also turning it around on them when I was the monster, I have never scratched that itch since.
Knockout City looked great for the style it was going for, in my opinion. Perhaps it's just not your style, since it's very much out there visually-but it has never looked outright bad. I also don't think a more realistic art style would have worked for KC. Its quirky characters and vibrant cityscapes are what made it so unique.
i think the goofy art style was definitely right for the game but imo the characters are straight up ugly and i wouldnt wanna buy any cosmetics for the game
it’s crazy how quickly games fizzle out nowadays. off the top of my head i can only name a handful of games that have been consistently popular over the past few years
What you said on the up hill battle against Pokémon, couldn’t agree more, literally the only game to corner a minuscule amount of room for itself is a free Roblox game, by virtue of being free on mobile and riding a massive legacy.
I will always say it, Hyperscape was one of the most fun games I’ve ever played. Insanely fun abilities and guns great movement, I would 100% still play it now if it was popular.
I would still play it if it was still here. I played it till the day the servers shut😢may the best game ever made rest in peace ❤

Hyperscape was S tier in term of skill-expression. No player fight the same.

The ttk was just so bad that I couldn’t get into it. I could land every shot and they could get away just fine
nah i politely disagree, i saw it, installed it and got straight into it and even when it was tuff i was having fun
@@TR21P you’d be an exception then. To most it’s a bland, slow movement shooter that can’t really get it’s footing on the ground
Out of all of these dead games, Hyperscape hit me the hardest. I used to stream on Twitch (never got anywhere, though), and I decided one day to play Hyperscape, since I used to play it a while ago but left after a while, even though I loved how the movement felt. I posted on the subreddit that I was playing the game. Pretty quickly after posting that, a bunch of people joined. It was the biggest audience I ever had. I remember it peaked at something like 12 viewers, and I felt on top of the world. Afterwards, I checked the stats of Hyperscape, and I realized that at the time, I was the 2nd biggest Hyperscape streamer, which even though the audience was small, made me feel so good about myself. When I heard the game was shutting down, I was genuinely a bit upset. I'm gonna miss it, and my boy Burns.

Ah Splitgate, gotta love the game. Been playing since before the open beta and it was always and is still fun. Also it's just funny when the names in your lobbies actually start to sound familiar seomtimes because there are not all that many active players.
I think Splitgate hat the problem of being too successfull in the open beta though. The developers were completely overwhelmed.
For some reason I was really really good at Splitgate when I started. Like I got 50 kills 10 hours in. But my laptop sucked so I just kinda gave up but I downloaded it again and I wanna see if I still have.
@@Topaz_The_First_Gem
Oh, I feel you. I wasn’t quite as good as you described when my laptop decided it didn’t want to continue working properly anymore, but I was still in the process of getting better.
Now all that is gone.
The fall of Splitgate was sad to watch but boy am I excited for their next game
Always thought a direction for Spellbreak to go for new gauntlets was just to make new weapons for the main ones as coming up with new ones does seem difficult and the orginal ones already acted as certain guns (Toxic shotgun, ice bow, air smg) so for some examples:
Lighting: shotgun, smg, sniper (Zeus bolt)
Toxic: crossbow
Fire: handcannon or six shooter
Earth: melee weapon? (Hammer, mace, throwing spear)
This would add a ton of new playstyles but if not down this path then a PvE or more engaging modes could've help (map design was tbh weak for a game with such an interesting world/theme).
I remember having fun with spell break but stopped playing to wait for a new element to be introduced but it never came and I accidentally forgot about the game until it was gone
When I see spellbreak gameplay and tons of mechanical things you can do in there I really really want to play it, it's elements mechanic and the movement set was so good and when I want to play it, it died pretty sad about it
When trailers are made they pack crazy moments and epic battles. Titanfall 2 is like playing a trailer, jumping on titans, using your titan, wall running
I honestly liked extraction. It was fun and the tactical shooter feel mixed with zombies/aliens was fun, but the sample extraction missions were so incredibly hard. There have been times I should’ve gotten a sample from the big boy but just executed it instead. It had potential but it just did not deliver enough they didn’t even put in all the operators! I wanted to play as Thermite (that’s his name, right?) but couldn’t because he wasn’t in the game. I think the safety foam and operator extraction part was fun and gave an extra objective like hostage extraction from Siege but there was just not nearly enough in there and all the cosmetics were either fully paid for with real money or insanely hard to get.
The cosmetics did require a lot of grinding but you always got what you wanted like think of siege its so hard to get a specific cosmetic in siege. But yeah they didn't even give us new ops or add them all. And the worst part of extraction was how repetitive it was.
I was super hyped for extraction being a fan of the outbreak event from Y3S1 operation chimera, i played the closed beta in november before its release and... played 2 games and I never touched it since, it just wasnt fun at all R6S has gone downhill very badly over then past few years too, shame bc I used to enjoy it
I’m surprised Bleeding Edge doesn’t show up on lists like these more, I feel like it was amazing for 2 weeks then everyone forgot about it lol
i played it long enough to 100% the achievements and then never play it again
It was literally going to comment that it was one of the best games ever
Tier F for bleeddge
You're A-tier, man! Thanks for your kind words.
I agree the portal mechanic ironically held the game back. Splitgate was a game set in 0 gravity however the movement felt deliberate with good pace and good weight to your character. You didn’t feel too floaty and you didn’t feel too heavy/ boots on the ground. However, the portals allowed a really good player to traverse an entire map without using any movement inputs and completely flank the enemy. This gave the game a skill gap on more than just a gunplay aspect, yes , but this skill gap was so wide that it turned off new players to a great game. I think that the portal mechanic should’ve had more checks to keep it under control, something like a limit on how many you can set in a life or maybe a cooldown feature.
hyperscape was so fun. i loved bouncing around in a big ball and the visual stimulation was fun and the characters/voice line were so charming
Spell break was fire but it needed the catalyst another element could’ve added.
That or new classes for existing elements with the same interactions.
I didn’t know you were Danny Phantom. That’s dope!
When Rogue Company came out I thought it looked interesting and played it for awhile. I kinda fell in love with it for the 2 months I did play it. My issue was it got stale soooooo quickly that 2 months is a short time for me to play a multiplayer game. I loved how abilities could change the whole match but some where broken. I did love the competitive side of it, it had a siege/csgo sort of vibe with a 3pp style, less tactical but you could tell it had its inspirations whilst trying to be unique.
I played it again only 2 weeks ago as I wanted to see what’s been new, who they added etc. now I don’t know if they nerfed guns but some guns I remember being good are really bad. It seems like the gameplay has heavily slowed down unless you match with a stack team and holy hell they’re not fun to go up against. After playing it for about 4 hours I can fairly say I wasn’t enjoying it compared to the 2 months I did.
I still have a great memory of clutching a 13v1 playing very aggressively! Still one of my best experiences since my 14v1 on GoW3. It’s just a shame it went downhill, especially some of those new characters being hella broken.
Fair enough
Spell break was such a good game. I remember playing that when it came out and loved all the ideas and I played it all the time. It deserved better
I wish the game was successful, it was so good
Extraction is a solid game for a more tactical, stealthy zombie style game. Overall I think it deserved to live a lot longer :(
For real it was a really good game, I would probably put it on B tier and deserves better
yeah extraction was a good game but one of the things that i hated was the reinforcing and barricading, the animations were so bad for those two things, and i came from siege, i was so disappointed with the animation but other than that solid game.
I think it was a really cool idea but marketing it as an entirely different game was a bad move, a game mode, event, or even a DLC would have been so much better. They just wanted to make it seem like something new when it wasn't.
@@oliversmith7322 dude extraction was a WHOLE game a permanent smaller outbreak like event would be much better. As marketing for the full game.
I hate what the devs did they screwed up the lunch when they put it on the easiest difficulty and just quit after a year and a half.

Regarding platform fighters, what killed multiversus for me is that they didn't allow 2 players to play on the same team from the same console. Absolutely braindead move for a game oriented for 2v2.
Rushdown revolt is actually epic, while they do not have marketing behind them and thus there's no hope for it ever succeeding, the gameplay itself is very solid and extremely fun. It's very fast-paced, every character overwhelms with energy It's just such an awesome feeling knowing that you're overflowing with power and misuse of it can kill you faster than the enemy. Maintaining control of your character is the game of it's own and it's quite refreshing take on the genre.
Spellbreak/Hyperscape are sad to see being dead, I fully agree with your points here. It's hard to compete in battle royale genre when other games pumping content on a weekly basis and also are household names. Spellbreak made a mistake launching exclusively on epic store, which reduced it's exposure significantly. And Hyperscape is just too hard for your average player. I really liked how loadout upgrades worked there though, same with realm royale forges. I wish apex would've made crafting just as hype and dangerous(And allowed to recycle items you don't want enemies to take hold of)
Halo just felt empty. It was fun for a week, but after that it felt just like every other halo before, just with less content. Soulless and empty. People nowdays want to have stuff to grind and halo just doesn't provide that. Same with Splitgate. Gameplay is quite solid, but there's not that much content and graphics felt cheap. It was fun while it lasted, let's hope second installment will do stuff more right.
Even after some of these games on this list that I've played having been out for years, it's still such a hard reality for me to cope with that those games are dead. Titanfall 2 was an amazing experience for me when I was younger, and games like Spellbreak and Hyperscape had so much potential. It's hard to see games go; it saddens me but reminds me of the good times I had as a little kid with those games and many others. R.I.P dead games. It was fun while it lasted.
Garden warfare 2 was my favorite game ever, the first one literally introduced me into shooters and hero shooters.
There is like 14 wacky characters each with their own subclasses totaling 150+ subclasses. The game was just so creative with the abilities and characters.
Like they made a superhero zombie class and the subclasses for him were a toxic and electric version a space version with a chargeable punch when killing you on full charge would show you getting sucked into a black hole and make you unable to be revived. A superhero called breakfast brains who would punch and move faster the more he hit you he also shot waffles from his fist that would shoot faster the more he fired. Oh he also had a toaster helmet and cereal stuffed in his gloves.
Definitely ones of EA’s best games and they should make garden warfare 3
If I remember correctly after BFN (The Spinoff of the shooter franchise) bombed giga hard twice. It got confirmed by a now former PVZGW dev that the Garden Warfare games are cancelled for good. And based on recent events PVZ in general too.
@@ThatPearlKid job listings by popcap and ea show that they are looking for a technical artist with a description of bringing the world of pvz to life working with artist, directors, engineers and animators for “future mobile games”
Even if the shooters are cancelled I’m looking forward to the next installment in the franchise.
GW2 and GW1 are both really good games. I don't consider any of them dead nor BFN.
I love titanfall 2 and it was dead at some point, because multiplayer got shut down but now they are up and I'm so happy
I was hyped for extraction because of my favorite limited time gamemode of siege, the zombie one, so i was hyped out of my mind
Bloodhunt was so great honestly, I think it flew under many people's radar.
fluid movement and gunplay. it had insane potential. definitely think they fucked up in many ways, the game didn't really get updated, and felt the same from testing to early access.
@@MS-ke9bpthe game now is no longer being updated they add weekly stuff and keep the community engaged and they pay attention to their servers and look out for hackers and added a nee archetype but really poor people honestly the game deserved a lot better knowing no new stuff will be added is kinda sad just didn’t bring in the numbers i hope bloodlines 2 succeeds
@@ChangesConstantthere is a second part coming ?
Vampire the Masquerade is part of the world of darkness universe, which started as a Tabletop RPG (please correct me if I'm wrong). They ended up releasing Bloodlines which is a single player RPG, from what I understand the Devs were rushed to put out the project before it was ready causing it to not be as good as it could've been (I LOVE the game and totally recommend getting it if you liked bloodhunt). Now some years down the road a Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is on the near horizon, though it has been pushed back a fair bit on release dates (just means their taking their time IMO). Though the game is set to release sometime in 2024, if you liked the lore or vibe of bloodhunt I recommend wishlisting Bloodlines 2 and Playing the first Bloodlines!@@btiiithug9585

20:58 I didn't even know this, this is great news! I love splitgate, so the fact that the team is making a brand new game gets me excited.
the fall guys map maker idea was godly. i would play the game so much more if there was a creative mode like in fn or smth but in fall guys.
Not even joking when I say this is the first time I’m hearing Extraction was it’s own game. I thought it was a siege event ☠️
That's the thing about Extraction, Ubisoft did little to no effort to distinguish between the game and event. There was a event called outbreak and then a whole different game called extraction (went through several name changes) Extraction on it's own doesn't stand 😭😂
It was inspired by a siege event. It probably would've been better if they just made it a dlc for siege
it has its own skins and community and stuff
its inspired by the outbreak event that introduced finka and lion
This was actually an interesting retrospective, coming from a game designer. Keep up the good work!
I was super hyped for extraction and loved it
You were spot on with splitgate. I tried it when it released and the gunplay was amazing but I really didn't like the portals. It was novel and cool but not something I wanted to devote time to learning for an arena shooter the way I devoted time to learning quake movement.
I remember following the development of Spellbreak on Imgur of all things. Remember seeing the dev make a post about it when it was in the early stages and thinking "Damn, this looks like it could be super fun". Good times.
The awesome thing about how the different Legends in Apex are still unique and easy to read lies in their silhouette and movement animations. Lifeline has a big booty on every skin and Revenants broad shoulders are always there. And when you see his goofy run, you know it’s him even when he’s rockin the anime skin
I remember watching your video on spellbreak during distance learning, writing it on a sticky note to download later. Got it, liked it, left jt
I'll admit I played hyperscape from the beginning and I did end up becoming one of those sweats, and the movement was pretty insane and the perk upgrades and stuff was pretty cool I enjoyed the game for a few months
Love your vids man! Keep up the good work. 👍

That was the issue, it WAS an event (released with Operation Chimera in 2018), but they decided to split it off, expand a bit on the concept and then sell it way later. There wasn’t much of an incentive to buy as a consequence.
No way I got a red dead redemption ad while watching this
I love how after u said to make a map maker it has
Another thing abt split gate was that their servers where so shit when everyone actually wanted to play. I remember my friends and I tried getting on but it kept saying that there were too many people in the cue. If they fixed it sooner I think it would still be thriving to this day. Cuz I do agree that it felt really great it would have legitimately been the COD killer. It was released at a good time. Apex was getting really annoying with its hackers, people hated Cold War and Fortnite didn’t have its resurgence yet and also people were getting sick of DMR zone too for WZ. All they needed was that one thing and they would have been golden
When you were talking about smash, I was going to bring up multiversus, but then I couldn’t remember the name of the game…which drove the point home.
I actually liked the 2v2 in multi versus more. There’s so many 1v1’s for platform fighters so when it was surrounded around duos I loved it. Plus they had a 1v1 feature.
Used to fw SpellBreak heavy 💯🔥
When you know S tier was made specifically for titanfall 2
14:00 they should’ve hired you to voice act all the characters 😂 great video 👌
This is the best list I've seen so far
Rogue company is an amazing game still, competitive third person shooters are few and far between, and rogue builded the entire game on its third personness, love it to play with friends
Splitgate was such a fun game that I feel like would have been a much more popular game if they were prepared for the surge in popularity they got out of nowhere. The 2 hour waitlines were a massive turnoff for a lot, but still one of my favorite multiplayer FPSs of all time
Two old games I really enjoyed in the past were Gotham City Impostors and Lost Planet 2.
The style was one of my favorite things about knockout city + rumbleverse is probably d or f
I could literally gush for hours about how much I love bloodhunt, with all the variety and creativity it has. Plus the gameplay was so fun, I literally bought the pass and was calling it "one of my favourite games" after only hours.
Then after a few days I noticed I had suddenly gone from being alright at the game, getting to the last few and winning the odd time. To being picked off instantly the first player I encountered.
After looking into it, it turns out when you first start the game, your matches are sprinkled with bots, but eventually they get removed.
So now I was actually meeting the people that eat, slept and played the game, and since I'm not particularly skilled anyway that forced me to stop😂
The biggest shame about Halo Infinite is being developed by people who had a completely different take on what Infinite should be unlike the player base and updated so slowly that people have basically no reason to stay and play the same thing for 6 months.
All that excluding bad monetization and grindy beyond reason progression.
you are goddamn right
i heavily disagree with you
