Breaking Bad would have been way better if Walter just treated his cancer by becoming an inmortal robot and started a war against frog people
🤖🔥🌫
You’re not wrong there
Don't forget the frog people not needing to create giant sentient death machines who are mushrooms and can think things into being facts.
Better Call Silent King
Not wrong.
“Around the Space Elves, watch your space-selves.”
-ancient C’tan saying.
This is such a favor to me guys, I drive a ton for work so being able to listen to some of my favorite Warhammer boys talk nonsense about Warhammer is the best thing ever. Start a patreon you animals
Same as I amazon delivery
Trueism
I'm only here for the insulin pump. The beeping helps me sleep.
Every time I hear deadlifts talk I feel like im about to be lectured on some obscure space marine chapter lmaoooo🤣
"The Old Ones are still dead, in case you were wondering." I am so glad I wasn't eating when you said the Pancreas I would have choked.
Talk about world eaters next just to fuck with pancreas
Would be interesting to listen to 40K lore in chronological order.
As a necron fanatic, this has to be one of the best explanations of their lore. Pronunciation not so much thought :).
Robert Rath and Richard Reed should craft a POV novel for Szarekh the Silent King detailing his story from becoming the Silent King to his self-imposed exile after the end of the War in Heaven, with all of the mayhem in between.
42:50 Ah yes, to quote Joe Kassabian; the universal theory of Fuck That Guy, A force strong enough to bring basically any two groups together.
An episode on the Genestealer cults would be awesome! They are such a cool faction that really don't get the attention and love they deserve.
This gets a +1 from me
The attention they deserve amounts to a bolter round to the face
That’s probably cause they seem just like scifi Cthfish cults
Not knocking them, but most people know kullflu so people are expecting stories they’ve heard already
@@sevenclovers7 i cannot tell if you are trying to say Cthulhu or something else, but if you are, I will say that Genestealer cults can be extremely varied just like guard regiments. Its all depends on the worlds they are from and whom they infect. So stories can be quite different especially if you try approaching it from different angles
GSC, GSC, GSC!
If you guys could add indicators to who’s speaking that’d be rad!
Even something like the icons in a discord overlay would help with associating a voice to a person.
So an idea that could explain how the necron even evolved in the first place is that their sun wasn't always super irradiated. At some point their star must have changed while they were still technologically challenged.
There's a theory that the C'tan feeding on their star was what caused the increased radiation.
The First War, The Creators (The Old Ones) VS The Destroyers (The C'Tan) + The Necrons, The Krorks, The Eldar and The Enslavers...... Sounds like The End Times but was only The Beginning!
So we know a krork still lives but in containment. How crazy would things get if he decided to break out?
Uruk Thraka bends the knee to him and potentially becomes a Primork at minimum.
Instant intelligence boost to the WAAAGHforce, and the Orks become even more logistically/technologically sophisticated and coordinated.
Would the Primeorks have eventually evolved into a krork do you think or is the primeork the Orks ultimate form ?
Oh boy i'm ready to learn about that necrussy
every techpriest ever:
that necrussy has my hardware acting unwise
next should be the daemonculaba
0 to 11 immediately, shock all the new viewers with the grossest story
Or isstvan 3 lol
@@panzermasterwalker4393 true!!!
I'd love to see a short story where a Necron warrior gets their consciousness back.
Sounds like a country song in reverse
Of all words, of all amalgamations of letters formed by the brain matter of hundred of generations and millions of people, the first word to herald the beginning of a new age was the seminal, eternal word: necrussy.
I understand the necrons view on mortal lives...
I really hope there is gonna be an episode on the Golden Age of Technology.
Yeah. We need some official lore on this
@@TekkVonDoom GW would rather stroke out and shart another 50 Space Marine minis than actually explore the DOAT.
Never in my life have I needed something so much and never known until I received it
Literally just found out the 4 gigachads of warhammer lore are behind this channel. That's awesome.
Also, this fits well into orktober because it means you can talk about the glory of the krorks and how they fell while still covering the other factions involved too, I've subbed because I already know (based on the channels who run this one) that it's gonna be an awesome ride!
(Kinda spoilers for the Twice Dead King books)
The C'tan know as Llandu'gor, the Flayer is heavily theorized/assumed to have actually been a myth and just a rumor used to explain the flayer virus, which it seems they will get to at some point
Well that would be a big blow to the Maynarkh dynasty, since their big feat was killing the bastard
@@shipkipsamazingchannel3248 well in the TDK it is said the the silent king brought 5 dynasties to The Battle of the Sokar Gate against Llandu'gor. They use this as a reason for why these dynasty are falling to the flayer virus. The Ithakas Dynasty is the only named one here, tho the Maynarkh Dynasty could have been there too
@@zacharycoash6380 thats a bit strange seeing how important the Maynarkh were to Llandu'gor's death, so maybe it was Maynarkh who pushed the advantage and outright destroyed the C'tan
@@shipkipsamazingchannel3248 this could be a case of GW not keeping the Canon completely clear
Can’t wait to see you blokes do a lore video for Tyranids.
One of the factions I collect is necrons so Im glade you started with the war in hevan.
Gonna comment as much as I can for the almighty algorithm!
I do believe The War in Heaven would have birthed the Chaos God's.
Millions of 'lesser races' are likely to have died in the crossfire of the Eldar and Necron and all those anguished souls flowing into the warp likely caused a shift.
This is an amazing podcast, many who discuss the 40k lore are so flippent in the actual events that happens in the lore its actually pretty hard to understand the lore from rando CZcamsrs that do nothing BUT discuss 40k.
You've brought levity to the topic while also being descriptive. Can't wait for the next ones!
The Devastation of Baal would be great topic. How hive fleet leviathan targeted the blood angels home world with the largest splinter temdril it had ever mustered due to the amount of trouble they had caused it over the centuries.
Another event worth looking at was when the Genestealers were discovered for the first time and the Deathwatch were sent in twice as the first group went missing. They even made a board game on it called deathwatch overkill
Loved this first episode. Excellent editing from my fellow non-working pancreas human.
If the eldar were going to do any clapping, what the absolutely deus are they waiting for?!
An episode (or several) covering the Heresy would definitely be a good one!
If Khaine AND C'tan could be shattered and captured were they the same species? A Civil war between gods?
I came for the remembrancer and stayed for the awesome content, star of the empire for you good sir
I'm not sure if the channel will cover Warhammer in general or just 40k, but there should be some skaven episodes if it's the former
Look, I want more of this podcast, A LOOOOOT MORE, I wanna know of the eldar, other factions and the league of votann, OH something I forgot to mention (I'm at work XD) I enjoy every single minute of the podcast, since I'm subscribed to everyone on the podcast, easy to understand, nicely explained and quite funny, nice overall!
Ah yes, cancer robots vs phroge a classic
For Orktober you guys should go through the Ork clans and if not this month I imagine you will take care of it at some point. I would love a simplistic to expert discussion on AI and STCs. No matter what the idea of going beginner to expert on any subject Warhammer is great and I really hope this catches fire as it's of quality to do so most definitely.
Goku Drip vs Hive Fleet when
Love the first episode, but could you have icons so I can see who’s talking. I'm familiar with amber King and deadlifts but I'm unfamiliar with the other 2 members of the podcast.
Chaos gods were a thing before humanity made its debut on the galactic stage, how powerful they were is up for debate, but the Eldar gods held them in check
Clearly the Custodian Guard are the Space Janitors
Glorious
Currently struck down with illness and have found my comfort audio.
Cheers man, cheers
Instant laugh within the first couple seconds, already hooked haha
"WTB HEALS"
"lol u stood in fire"
w video w channel
excited for the next episode
This was entertaining, lore informative, and quite calming thanks to a variety of nice voices to listen to. I'm looking forward to your subsequent works. Well done!
Great video, really enjoyed a bunch of warhammer youtubers getting together to talk about lore in a podcast style, nice to listen to and ponder while doing other tasks, learned a lot about the war in heaven, would want to see more, like a video on chaos in general and the implications of interacting with it, anyways thanks for the good video and have a good one i guess
This is a great group for a podcast. Looking forward to more
So Bobby was in stasis and therefore stayed the same over 10k years. The Lion slumbered, therefore aged, but not only aged, it would appear he's potentially evolved given the spontaneously sprouting vegetation in his wake? That's an interesting thought, what the primarchs would eventually become if allowed to live their full lifespan.
Here from Pancreas' channel. Loving the group dynamic, keep it up! You'll have my view.
Funny that the Necrons backed by C'tan crushed the Old Ones, Eldar at their most powerful Psychic level, Krork, Jakaro and however many other races that got wiped out. Only due to the C'tan starting to kill each other did all the races not get wiped out. Then the Necrons turned on the C'tan and after that devastating damage they didn't have the power to beat the Eldar Empire backed by their Gods. The Krork and the rest where never a huge threat to the Empire of death.
I found out about amber king's channel just from the trailer for this channel so I'm looking forward to it's actual content now
Bees make honey I make comey
46:23 The first kiss
I was there when the magic was written witch I was there when the lore began
Absolutely masterful work. As you grow you will sync up with one another better, And you will get far more consistent
37:33 JFC this is the best explanation I've heard regarding this. Literally every other explanation I have heard had just said that they wanted the immortality. NOT that they wanted a genetic cure. This gives them depth and has for the first time ever made me feel sympathetic to the necrons.
Excellent work gentlemen, looking forward to the next one 👍🏻
Video idea: denizens of the warp. The entities within and how they came to be
"Take Greek Mythology, but everyone is Hades."
I dunno, man, aside from the awkward arranged marriage, Hades is a pretty chill dude. Loves and supports his wife (who is flat out terrifying as a goddess of the dead), does his job, doesn't slack off or.... wander around, shall we say?
One thing that doesn't make sense to me is why did the C'tan give the Silent King control of the Necrons? Wouldn't they want soul control?
Necrons no longer have souls as part of the process of bio transference
It was a power move as the c'tan was hyper arrogant at this time as they were in the winning stretch of the war and wanted to show off how powerful at the time over their subjects as this was a time before they started eating each other
Like it canon reason why the c'tan never realise the rebellion was coming despite the necron creating god destroy weaponry was because the silent king told them that they were ""building them in tribute to them"". That how arrogant they were
Congrats for the podcast! I've been following Pacreans and from time to time watch Dead Lift, and it was a pleasure listen to all you guys together. I will waiting for the next episode!
This is a fantastic podcast !
Very excited for your upcoming content fellas
I've only heard summaries, or bits and pieces. This by far has been the best comprehensive summary!
This was absolutely awesome. The War in Heaven just the way I like it. Keep it up, guys!
Also I seem to have read somewhere that in an ironic twist of fate, the reason why their world was so irradiated was actually the C'tan that was eating their star. Might have been part of the old lore before the rewrite though. The version where it was basically all a plot of the Deceiver and the rest of the Yngir to get to the Necrontyr and make them slaves.
@@Washeek that seems to be the case. I don't like this format. These guys go in depth into the law and still regularly just leave extremely important details out.
This is an excellent podcast, especially for casual 40k enjoyers who want to learn about these galactic conflicts and rich histories
I very much enjoyed this, can't wait for the next one
This was a wonderful listen
Very solid first episode! You folks should perhaps look into uploading these podcasts on spotify, id love to listen to them during my night shift on my phone.
Excellent vid guys 🤟
Really enjoyable. Good work guys.
Listen up @Majorkill . So you don't get stomped at the next lore off.
Amazing podcast! I have only one question is the Necrons body the same that they put C'tan in?
More!
I love this, will it be on apple podcasts?
Where did you guys find the Awesome artwork around 36:14? It's so cool!
Yessssssssss
I've already watched adeptus ridiculous, so i know plenty. But i wanna see something different, so the more the merrier.
High elves/Wood elves (or their characters)! I know it's fantasy, and I do not care, I prefer it :D
Also, let Collin speak about Halo Lore ;D
Holy shit I am so interested what a line up
I'm am so happy that you guys exist, and made this channel.
0:00 (AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA I was writing and then hear Necrussy (came back to write a comment since I couldn't when the video finished) jesus Christ that was hilarious well played).
As a fan of the Necrons (not player saddly :p, yet) I enjoyed soooo much this episode. It was a pleasure hearing you all, but man I was speechless while hearing Hal? (I think, my apologies, still learning each one's voice) explaining the war in haven. I knew stuff about it, but wow it was so entertaining and fun.
Thank you so much for introducing each other at the beggining so I can tell who's talking :P.
Right now I'm painting my harlequins hopefully I'll be able to play them on 10th ed. (funny thing it will be my starter army haha).
And being able to listen to you guys while painting makes the work so soooo much enjoyable, and time passes like a breeze (hope that makes a little bit of sense :P).
Anyhow I'd like to thank you all for your work, it's a gift for me to be able to listen to you guys and laugh with your jokes, bless your hearts! : )
P.S. I'd love to hear an episode about the Harlequins one day if that's okay. : p (just throwing that thought since you guys asked for suggestions)
Holy fuck! You got all of those voices
wait yo yall should literally just do a video on necron mentality/basically just the twice dead king lol
Best intro ever
Let's get that necrussy
Make a spotify please
Everyone vote Eldar!!!
Let's go necron lore
Uh the C’tan sound like worryingly close to the W’rncacnter from the Marathon games…..
Kinda scary how easily Halo and Marathon can slot into 40k.
Also I like how the Enslavers demons are what got made, logically the old ones made three races to fight the Necrons
Also like how literally everything was a the fault of a near religious choice…. Twice.
Good video all around!
I thought the necron nobility lived in tombs to get less radiated then the people (peasants) who lived above them.
NECRUSSY
I thought the Armstrong joke was from his voice
I thought the Ctan feed on souls not suffering
I listen to 4 of y'all regularly but i dont usually listen to podcasts
But damn that opening necrussy got that gorilla grip
Awww I was late to the party
Goddammit of course today's the day I find out one of my favorite warhammer youtubers has my deadname
