Review: 2021 Chevy Tahoe Premier - V8 Power and Huge Improvements

  • I spend a week with the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe in its Premier trim and find that while the $71,380 as-tested price might seem high for a Tahoe, the luxury-like refinement, much smoother ride, more spacious and luxurious interior, next-gen safety and V8 power combine to create a very compelling package. If you want a body-on-frame SUV with V8 power, these new GM SUVs are really your only choice if you don't want something ancient from Toyota or Nissan. What do you think of the new Chevy Tahoe? Thanks to Chevrolet for providing me with the 2021 Tahoe to review!

The design team that created the front should be recognized.

Very informative review! I really want one but will wait for dealer discounts to kick in before purchasing. Still have my eyes on the Telluride as well. Leaning towards the Chevy since it has the roomier 3rd row.

Remember three major items disappeared after around June/July 2021 due to the global chip shortage
    1. Auto Stop/Start….no major loss there in fact I would pay GM $50 to have GM disable.
    2. Wireless Charging
    3…. Electronic Steering column lock.

  • @stephencannon3140

I do like that they went back to Amber turn signals in the rear.
The only glaring item in the interior is the tablet screen. Too many manufacturers are using tablets which I don’t mind but build the center instrument panel around the tablet, not the tablet around the console.
Bonus points for the dual/dual exhaust pipes
    Jeers for removing fog lights

Found one chanced it and was not pre sold…..purchased and sales rep texted me this morning arrived….two days early…..Mad scramble to get both trade ins to CarToyz for dashcam removal but done and should be picking up tomorrow late AM. Premier pretty loaded. Midnight Blue with Jet Black interior.

I drove a 2020 Camry rental a few weeks ago, I had to turn the lane keep assist off! It was way too aggressive, and even slowed the car down on sweeping turns. It wasn't like I was canyon carving as if I was in my Z06 either.

I’m not sure, they may want to have it be Escalade-exclusive for a few years or it could be added as soon as next year since they are planning to roll it out to Chevys pretty quickly (Bolt EUV will be the first). The Escalade starts around 80k so assuming they didn’t force you into a loaded model, at 76k I’d probably just pay 5-10k more at that point for the Escalade.

  • @normt430
    @normt430 Před 3 lety

The Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, the GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, and the Cadillac Escalade account for 50% of all large SUV sales in the US. GM makes 340,000 of them every year and exports about 80,000 to 31 countries. They’re made in GM’s plant in Arlington, Texas, which is said to be the most profitable assembly plant in the world. We estimate they generate $20 billion in revenue for GM and about $4 billion in profits. Autoline Daily.

followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who
buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into
the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service,
the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a
malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help
will come faster. GM is a very dangerous company, be careful and keep
your money safe.!!!Share so more people don't get screwed.
