    Hobi is an amazing and an excellent performer. I have been rewatching his Lollapalooza concert for so many times and I never get tired or bored from it. He has great command of the live stage , his repertoire and the audience. I just hope that when he comes back from the military, he will be doing a solo tour as the world should see more of his versatility as a rapper, singer and dancer.

    I was at Hobipalooza. I flew in and the crowds were even more wild than what you can see! Locals all around me were jumping and screaming with armys- no army bombs so you can’t see them as well, but it was incredible💜

    So happy you got to watch this!! Our Hobi is just the best. He worked so hard for this and it really showed, his stage presence is extraordinary! I was so sad yesterday but my heart feels a little better seeing the OT7 pics they posted with Hobi. Im so glad to see that all his brother, especially Jin was with him! Hopefully they are able to do this for each member coz I was feeling so sad to think that whoever is the last to join won’t have anyone to send him off 😢! Apobangpo 💜💜💜

    In love with his lyricsm, delivery and stage control! Just masterful
    It looks effortless but he's been practicing to exhaustion to the point he could do it in his sleep! The behind the scenes are actually crazy, the amount of work and attention to detail is extreme!

    J Hope's clothing choice was perfect for Chicago at the end of July. It's cooler by the lake but when it is 85-90° there is not much relief outside. During Safe Zone he looks up to his left toward raised viewing area, Jimin and Bang PD were up there. It's nice to see how they support each other.

    it is so funny to me that people who don't know Hobi too well and base their knowledge on what armys are saying in the comments or from some biased BTS intro guides (done by armys who obviously don't care about Hobi and make awful stereotypies about him), think he was just a "dancer" who couldn't do much before the debut. But in fact from the start he was the most professional on stage from them all and also made his own raps since 2010. He was the first member that even before the debut had the feature on Jo Kwon's "Animal" and performed with Jo several times on Korean TV shows as ft artist in July 2012 (a year before the group's debut)- a eighteen year old Jung Ho-seok. It should make people think how much trust the BigHit directors/producers had in him if they chose Hobi as a feature (including doing live stages) before the group's debut, one year before BTS debut...
    He wrote his own verse, he was the first member with registered KOMCA credit and made perfect live performances in "Animal" with choreo and his own rap verse -100% live. It is 2023 and people still underestimate him and think of him as a "dancer", that's sad, he has 136 KOMCA credits now and he is a prodigy and still the best performer in the group.

    Hey K-OG, A-OW here. I look for any reason to watch Lolla again so I'm happy you decided to watch with us. It always puts a smile on my face, which I needed tonight, and makes my ARMY pride burst. Jay owned that stage! He was 🔥🔥🔥, the band, the arrangements, that stage set, that crowd...it never gets old watching this. He really snapped on Base Line!!! Such a natural, yes, but you should see all the behind the scenes and how nervous he was. He told Jimin he worked really hard to memorize everything in English. Anyway, thanks for watching with us. I hope we get part 2...the channel you're watching is a good one for subtitles. More ARMYs are learning Korean nowadays but it's HARD! 🫰💜

    Thanks for posting this today. It was a comfort to get some Hobi content. This performance of his was so well executed. The pacing, the stage design, the set list order, the dancing, stage presence, rapping, singing, audience interactions, the live band. It was truly a display of many people being great at what they do and coming together to bring his vision from his albums to life. Such a great team behind him and he did an amazing job. Excited to see your part two reaction.

    Yes but Hobi is our Dance Leader/Performance Leader.
    He does so much more than just help with choreo. He is
    👑 "King of the Stage" 👑 for many, many reasons!
    I mean you can obviously see a lot for yourself right here in this video.
    Hobi was with out a doubt born to be on the stage.
    Unmatched!!!
    Actually I haven't had the pleasure of going to a BTS concert, but when I was forst getting into BTS, I heard a saying... I was told that there is a saying about Hobi wnd his stage performance/presence. I was told that it is amazing yes, but it is on another level live. That Army will go with someone as their bias, but after seeing Hobi on stage, they will leave having been bias wrecked by Hobi. I was told this at that time, and have heard it more since, so amazing!
    And I hope so very much that I will be able to see them live one day, hope with all my heart!!!

    it's just different live. And I love Army- they had less than 2 weeks to learn the new songs, and they sang along. It's hard to believe that wasn't even a BTS concert. BTW, the outfit that was grungy but not too grungy- it was Louis Vuitton.

    19:18 funny how you said "nothing is scripted", when everything is scripted) he trained for weeks and I'd say 95% of movements are rehearsed, but he is such genius that it looks as if he did it on a whim
    It looks as if the creates music with his body

    • @komerican-og
      @komerican-og  Před rokem +6

      Wow... Now I think of it... all BTS members are perfectionists. They would have scripted everything. It just means he was that good. I sure was fooled.

      @AlexaOleksa Před rokem +6

      @@komerican-og if you watch documentary you will see. There is ofcourse some spontaneous moves but maybe small one, like hands or smth, all bog movements are rehearsed because it was also filmed so he had to camera block and be aware of different cameras

    • @ninecats5814
      @ninecats5814 Před rokem +1

      @@komerican-og this part of the gig, I would rather say it's well thought out, where the major moves and speech are not random for sure, but it's still a lot of spontaneity, we can clearly see him get lost in the moment and immersed in music from time to time, you can't script it.
      Now the second part is more scripted, because there are a lot of dance choreos.

    • @sinevins
      @sinevins Před rokem +1

      @@ninecats5814 True, and even the scripted parts, well he came up those at one point right, or had a hand in, what I am assuming is most all of it, if not infact all of it. And honestly, can you image how hard it is to think of how to move on stage at all those moments, even the in-between ones. I can't image trying to do all that without a crowd in front of me, etc... if you get what I mean. No, he put so much of himself into this set, talent, hard work, natural ability, his personal feelings, his professional side, like he says, he puts his heart and soul into his music! And we, Army, all know the same can definitely be said for pretty much everything he does, especially, including how he performs!!!

    I think his outfit looks slightly too big for him because he lost a lot of weight stressing and rehearsing for the concert. He wasn't eating properly, so when Jimin came down to support him a few days before the concert, it was only time he regularly ate and slept. I believe Jimin made him do both.
    Jimin was a huge help to his physical and mental endurance right before the concert. Grateful for him!

    CZcams creators from other continents actually name their country. someone actually says they are a German not their European! somebody actually says they're from Kenya or Egypt not there in African. They are from Israel, Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, China, Iran, Iraq, India not just they are Asian. Two places on earth where there's only one country on a continent! The continent of Zealandia the country New Zealand the continent of Australia the countries name Australia. The continent of South America there is no country on it called America! The continent of North America also no country on it called simply America! Complete name of the country I live in The United States of America founded in 1776 declaring independence from Great Britain. At that time, it was the only sovereign nation on the continents of north and south America.
