Great thing about a John John show is that it's often very intimate and just plain fun. No rock egos here. lol
LOL! I love the (presumably improvised) spoken part. Flans was laughing so hard he screwed up the beginning of the chorus. Awesome.
Unlike a lot of musicians from my youth who I've lost respect for - these guys keep on being awesome.
I would've cried if I was there...I'm not joking. Absolute comfort song and band.
Same, the accordion in Snowball feels like a warm hug, so wistful and nostalgic. And hearing them improvise weird banter would be the dream!
JL: How long you been here, Joe?
JF: Thirty-one, thirty, thirty-two minutes. Why do you ask?
JL: You must be racking up a gigantic, flaming pile of sales. Making a good income, and a gigantic steaming pile of living.
JF: When you ask me questions like that Paul, I always think to myself, why don’t you mind your own business? Paul. But to answer your question, AWWW, I guess I’m doing ok. I can’t complain. Why? Are you back on that old time-is-money kick?
JL: YES I AM, JOE, I’M BACK ON THAT KICK! GODDAMNIT, I NEVER STOPPED BEING ON THAT KICK! GET BACK TO WORK!
They are so amazing live!
I love the way they politely concede the microphone to each other, before bawling right into it.
I just keep coming back to this video- never fails to make me smile!
this video provided me a priceless amount of joy
Nerd rock lives!! and so should you
Wonderful
Amazing.
Fantastic. I couldn't really understand them from where I was sitting, so thanks for the captioning!
LOL, soldier on, Flans!!❤️
Did they reference 32 Footsteps in the middle there?
I don't think so, they do goofy voices in all kinds of their songs.
😍
@nosaj56 I'm with you on that one.
What does this song meeeeaannnn though???
Moneys all broke?
Foods going.... hungry?
So, no matter what... the road is blocked. Doesn't matter how. Could be construction. Could be a train, temporarily, could be a boulder... an avalanche....doesn't matter. Roads closed.
And I'm out of place. I do not belong. I can not go through the road. I was not built for it. I'm a car, and I need a team of sled dogs. Or a CAT to did the Trench out to resurface the road. I don't belong.
I'm a snowball in hell
its about the pov of someone whos going through an existential crisis
