- complete campervan conversion plumbing water system install including mixer shower, mixer tap , bobil vans water dual element water heater including bibil vans solaris system meaning solar powered hot water in my self built campervan.
we start by installing a house hold pull out kitchen tap into our campervan then a house hold mixer shower with hot and cold water,
the full campervan waste water tank and piping system with a recycled fresh water tank used as a waste water tank along with a surflo water pump and a tanks direct 92 litre fresh water tank inside the campervan garage so in the winter I don't need to worry about it freezing.

Nice work, Richard. You've come a long way mate and the van is looking really smart. Night and day compared to your old one. It's always interesting to see how other people do it. I built my camper in 2021 and decided to give it a makeover and make several changes earlier this year. I opted to remove my shower unit (massive ball ache) as I didn't think the usage justified the space. I really prefer showering at Pure Gym anywhere in the country or at a services/ campsite when available instead. When not available, I use a collapsible 5l bowl and fill it with warm water from the kettle and wash with soap and a flannel. I way prefer things now, so it'll be interesting to see what your thoughts are in 12 months. ATB mate.
Good idea to always turn off the water pump while you are driving.
The water pressure will change up and down while you are driving and can potentially cause the pump to trigger when you don't want, causing extra pressure.

You need to use plumbers putty around the drain flange to prevent any leaking from the sink.
yup and it will save bits of food etc getting stuck under there and start to stink lol

The shower waste won’t flow uphill; you’ll surely need to route the pipe flatter 🤷🏻♂️
That little incline is acting as the trap to stop waste water smells coming back up the pipe into the van
