- What happens when you combine 10 guns into one super gun? Let's see!
This glass cannon build absolutely melted enemies, but the amount of damage that I started to take definitely makes this a difficult path to follow.

The reason you didn't see cursed zeus is because you had the athena token, which you cant have to fight cursed zeus

It looks like merging the guns didn't count as picking it up. When you took Twins it looks like you could have still taken Broken Kite. Same with Lullaby in the Athena room

Yes and no, if you merge the gun before picking it up, then it doesn't actually give you the effects of the gun. So you would really only get the item and not the gun as well.
@@peanutbuttermancool3106 Ya I notice that there was nothing new to his bullets so I guess the devs fixed a loophole.
The active doesn't work if the weapon isn't equipped and merged into your equipped weapon.
Also merged weapons don't fire extra bullets but the equipped weapon does.

This idea looks fun, and the jersey synergizes with this character very well. Because you got that item so early, you never at any point in this run began taking more damage(and in fact possibly took a lot less if any enemies can do a whole heart or more of damage normally). You literally couldn't take more than half a heart of damage at a time, and after a point the hits were cutting through your nearly useless shields like toilet paper. But your hearts remained strong because of the jersey. Unintentionally turning purple things red was annoying, sure, but damage-wise you were almost never in any real danger.
He did take a lot more than half a heart when being hit though. Look at 7:16 for example
@@MrMettwurst96 thats because it only considers heart damage, like he mentioned above "cutting through your nearly useless shields like toilet paper." Thats why it looked like he took a lot of damage, but it was just his shields not being affected by the jersey.

Gotta admit, though, it was a bit funny watching this dude in a couple places going "I'm taking a lot of damage" when he got hit maybe 2 or 3 times and wasn't even close to being in any real danger. Jersey seems really nice in general, but with something like this that would normally cause you to take more damage, it's so much better. Free gun combining with no downsides!
jersey was kind of clutch as in the god of coins fight he got hit and like 3 1/2 shields came off he would have probably died in the room with the gold worm. (edit: he would have died to argus as he takes almost four a hit and took 2 hits)
I love how whenever df gets to an item room there is a noticeable cut when he looks up the items lol

Hey DF, I think the problem that you had with getting cursed Zeus was that you had an Athena token. The one you get from getting to the Athena room. If you want to fight cursed Zeus, maybe try to not pick those up if you see them? I'm not sure though

You had an Athena token though 🤔 I'm pretty sure it means no tokens from the beginning on and you took an Athena one early.

18:44... I am sure this has probably already been said about 50 times already but you picked up an Athena token pretty early on in the run, at 5:06 to be exact, so right at 5:06 you lost any chance of doing the no tokens/no faith path.

Ever wonder how many failed runs we do not see on screen? Sure we get to see some, but imagine the frustration of getting a good run.
He's sounds so calm most of the time though, so probably not a lot of bad runs. Or he probably just has tons of patience

I know I have to sometimes. I record and narrate as I play, but I’m also a klutz, and forget to unmute mic, and have to dub narration over the footage before uploading.

Tip:if u get a token, don't pick it up u always have the option
Tip 2:take a room on hal stage before fighting hal, it resets the bar
For the no-bar boss you need to not have a token either; you picked up an athena token. Besides, that boss is really hard. I'd suggest super ares or super athena first.

I think if You combine a gun from the item room You can actually take the item too. In this video the item didin't disapired so it's Worth a try at least

with the athena token, you need to unlock the athena room on the same level you fight athena to unlock the next level/boss, but having the token may stop you from getting the cursed zeus.

I think the game *Nimbatus* is something you would love to play with too. Its basically a "Drone construction game". But you can get very crazy.
We need to collectively scream at DF to make him realise he had an Athena token and it's not about Athena rooms, but about tokens.

To recap: Cursed Zeus is beat Hal with no faith AND with no token; you picked up athena token earlier.
Cursed ares is get ares level, then go to ares room when in ares level.
Cursed athena is get athena level, then go to athena room in athena level.

You pick up a Athena token early on you have to avoid picking up Athena and ares token the entire time until you get to Zeus and than fight cursed Zues if I reading description (18:49) correctly as said beat hale without pickup a single Athena or Ares token and without faith whatever that is. 5:02 you pick Athena token preventing you from seeing cursed Zues. If faith purple and red bar than as long you don’t have bar you when fight hale and avoid picking up tokens than you should be good.

Hey DF, you should turn off all items except the Beast Amulet. It increases your damage by a ton.
this reminds me of a crazy game i played called "mothergunship" that's supposed to let you collect lots of different gun parts and make crazy guns, like a NINE-barreled shotgun...
BUT you ACTUALLY collect COINS and BUY gun parts...
AND the selection is always random...
AND the LEVELS are randomised...

Hey DF, the way you get cursed ares and athena (at least to my knowledge bc i did a run and got cursed ares) is while your in that level try and find one of those smile shops. Whether it be hearts, grenades, keys or coins, theres a chance that when they disappear and you'll get a ticket. Find a blue teleport and then you should be able to fight the boss.
Ok so i was completely wrong, the way you get to the cursed ares or athena is getting their item room while on their level. (So if you have the ares token and go to the ares level, you build up your violence meter to get the item room.

I like this character more than the others. He actually feels the need to get other guns which makes watching this way more interesting than before.
There are so many references in this game... Magic Vortex is a Naruto reference, Golden Spirit is possibly an Attack on Titan reference (at least in its tooltip..?) etc etc.

Day 54 of recommending "The Perfect Tower 2", it’s a semi-idle tower defense game, where you upgrade your tower, with a lot of things to do! p.s. you get to kill a lot of cubes, and if u grind to late game...well i wont ruin the surprise

To get to cursed Zeus, just dont have any faith on that floor (That/purple meter) and kill HAL. Also, you need achievements on so you gotta turn off your seeds or cheats. Same goes for cursed Ares and such
This is literally the duct tape challenge in enter the gungeon but WAY less op since you take more damage
More info: cursed Athena and Ares are fought at at their temple so clear the level before going there
