YESSSSSSSs, finally found a video that uses these markers :>
I'm really really happy you chose to give these products a try. They were at my eye-level at one point, but I don't know the company so I passed on them. I wanted to know more about them, so I'm glad you had a go, and clearly, worked them very well. The lack of color information does grate me a bit, but seeing that awesome swatch chart makes it easy to at least see what's what. Great video and review! Thank you!! :)
Thanks! Yeah, these were definitely fun to play with and I'm excited to sketch more things out with these (definitely more succulents to come haha!)
I can't stop staring at the succulent on the bottom left, the coloring is so pretty
I love how you showed how versatile these markers are! That's so cool that you used them in your bullet journal, as well as painted such beautiful succulents with them. My favourite is the larger pale blue succulent -- it's so pastel and dreamy!
I swear to god watching you makes me so inspired thank you
Haha! Oh thank you!
Oh my god you actually replied! I've been blessed. Thank you for being one of my many inspirations.
At Amazon for about 21.99 in case anyone wants to know.
I like that you've added different ways to use these pens! I was also mesmerized by the way you were blending the succulent leaves >< So relaxing!
Thanks! There really are a lot more uses than I originally thought so I thought it might be useful to show my favorites ^_^
These markers do look really good! Loved how the succulents looked! I would love to use these or something similar.
I think I’ve realized sort of accidentally over the years, that water-based markers are my favorite kind of marker because they’re so much easier for me to blend and work with than alcohol markers. I taught a bunch of kids how to watercolor by having them use markers, first-we’d scribble the markers into a cheap plastic palette and then use a wet brush in that pigment like it was paint. We all loved it, and it’s what I’ve found is my favorite technique for these bad boys!
I'm no stranger to that technique with really cheap markers (with limited color options) and I'm excited to try these out that way ^_^
Jennifer Charlee Art oh man, with their vibrancy and your painting prowess? I bet it would turn out wonderful. =^.^=
do we dip these in water before using?
Wow all the colors of the pen caps when you opened the box. I got so excited about all the pretty colored caps 😀 . I am also really surprised how well these pens blend in your succulent drawings. they look really soft and nice.
Yeah! It's so fun to have so many colors!
I think, it's pretty neat to have a fine liner tip at one end, as I don't use the chizzle nib, that most of the markers have. Thanks for reviewing these!
Thank you for watching! I find the fine liner tip being super useful ^_^
these look perfect for bullet journaling and very inexpensive too! They would be good for any images made to be digital files anyways, like your stickers! MerMay comes to mind too as people sometimes do a slap-dash method with many images made for challenges!
Wow great succulents. i have these growing at home
Thank you. Useful
Very nice succulents. Sounds like you are feeling better.
Thank you...making these have helped (as well as rearranging my schedule to have a couple of days "off" from working). Still a ways to go but I've been gaining some new tools that have been helping 💕💕💕
If you use rubberstamps, you can use the markers instead of an ink pad.
Otherwise, I use them the same ways as shown here, and also for calligraphy ( I don't have these exact markers, but other water-based dual tips)
I also like to paint on plastic, spray with water and rub it on paper to make a nice watercolor/color splash effect for my BuJo, or just paint on plastic to get the ink, and then use with water and a brush kind of as regular watercolors. Which is nice if you want brighter colors and don't want the grain that is in some watercolors. It really creates nice, smooth, and bright pieces!
I have painted an iris and a bleeding heart with the last technique on my Instagram (@sprinklecreativity) if you are interested, though it’s really not that special.
Oh yeah! Stamping can be so much fun and I love the "color on plastic" technique haha. I may try that watercolor effect for my bujo next month since that's such a great idea.
I ordered these i hope they are good 🙃
Due to having a time-consuming day job, I found myself using water-based pens a lot as they dry super fast compared to my usual watermedia. Especially when I try to sneak in extra art work time during my free time at work. However, I know some of these cheaper brands of water-based pens are refillable, so I am thinking of saving up for a lightfast watercolor ink like Dr. Ph Martin’s to put in some of my brush pens and such.
Ooooh! What a cool idea! I have that ink and would love to try that! :D
Can you color full art with these brush pens?
Those are the exact same as my ohuho markers 😮
Do you think that spraying with a UV protection fixative would prevent the colors from fading?
What did you use for the outlining? I couldn't see it.
Have you tried the Ohuhu markers? I'm torn between the Parkoo and the Ohuhu.
cuando mencionas que las cerdas del pincel se van desgastando ¿a cuantos años, meses o días te refieres? es una duda existencial que llevo tratando de resolver durante dos dias de investigacion de estos pinceles.
Those look awesome! I just got my very first ever set of copics and I'm already in love with them, but I like the idea of having something like this for sketching and bullet journaling. I tried copics on my bullet journal and they bleed through the page really badly. Do these bleed through the bullet journal as well? (Do I just need a better bullet journal with thicker paper? Lol) Anyway, thanks for the demo. These looks fun! :)
Alcohol based markers (like copics) will just about always bleed through most papers pretty badly. These are water-based so they have a lower chance of bleeding through (most papers) if you use them lightly and not add too many layers. Hopefully that helps! And Thanks! 💕
Thank you for replying. :) Awesome! I'm definitely gonna pick up the set you linked and try that in my bullet journal.
Enjoy! Tag me on anything you create and post, I'd love to see it ^_^
I have these but not Parkoo, altho it looks the same just without the Parkoo label. I use them for calligraphy (it's great, for me) and been looking for videos of it used for coloring cause i didn't wanna buy expensive colored markers, pens, etc.
I got some of the Kingart brush pens and want me to make Art with them. I’m very amateur. So any videos that help are appreciated. I am
An archaeologist themes I like drawing are lithics like arrowheads, crystals, pyramids, fossils looking at doing succulents too.
You can use them for washes of color.
So true! :)
so how bad do they flare after 2 years?
How difficult is it for this company to label colors...cant imagine it would be a major problem
1:04 i have got a 100 pack of those
oh it was on all of them
Those look exactly like the ohuhu dual tip markers 60 pack for $21.00 can
Those literally look exactly like my Ohuhus, only they have the Ohuhu label, not the lable yours have
