Stereolab were one of the first groups I saw at a very young age, I still recall the show, as I my mind was blown, everyone seems to overlook Andy Ramsey's killer motorik drumming, he was a very important part of the Stereolab sound in my opinion.
I only got into Stereolab about 3 years ago, my loss for not having seen them in their early years, but as a big Fall, Velvets and Wire fan, l have to say this is ACE! I’m 60 now and pretty disillusioned with much I’ve heard recently and then I discovered this......👌
I saw them in 1999 in Germany @ the Southside Festival. There was bad weather since many days. Stereolab played on a side stage covered with a big tent.
Laeticia Sadier and Mary Hanson... That is one of rock history's golden voice match ups.

Warms my heart to see Mary singing.

Stereolab are one of the finest (and criminally overlooked) bands of all time. Loved them from day one... and still do.

I love how this starts like they're just warming up and then all of a sudden it's a song.
me watching this video for the 2300th time: yep that's still definitely John Cage Bubblegum live
missing Mary...
Laeticia is so beautiful here. I'm in love
I loved this band all my adult life and when I finally saw them live in Manchester I had a stroke at the gig.
RIP Mary Hansen <3
All I can say is I wish I was in that record store and that point in time.
me watching this for the 1000th time: yup thats definitely John Cage Bubblegum live
I went to SJSU, and seeing a SJSU t-shirt in a Stereolab vid is the last thing I ever expected to see.
Terrific sounds, dance moves that nerdy and cool all at once. Rest in Power Mary Hanson!
Laetitia and Mary
Love it. I saw them first Dec 1993, they blew me away. Laetitia played loads of weird synth noises between tracks...
Truly one of the greatest ever combinations of simple lyrics and riff.
