Feels like I'm listening to two people who have pretty much had enough of each other.
It does seem very evident.
they were together for 12 years and had a kid before they split, ofc they cant stand eachother
I love Stereolab so much, but this interview is tough to watch.
How beautiful does Laetitia look in this?
"ingests the ideas" 1:58 ... what's that face Tim's making? lol
Great discussion
Tim’s definitely on something 😂
they're just so impressed by him they can't contain themselves.
the comments on this video make me disgusted to be a Stereolab fan.
Who cares what the interviewer looks like, and the animosity in the room is probably between Tim and Laetitia. They did have a child and split up you know. They didn't even write music together in the final years (as they explain here). Touring was only probably contractual.
Not that it is particularly relevant to the music, but I always wondered about their relationship. Not sure what happened between them, but I find her intelligence, talent, accent, and brown hair and eyes absolutely enchanting.
get real, take it on the chin, move on, sit down, push a pineapple, grow a bush, eat a dish, review with reflection but don't share disgust. You know jack-shit about any of this so please kindly and quietly fuck off.
@@farfisa who are you talking to?
@TheTelepathicKid - Well put.
:-)
I don’t get why anyone thinks this is an uncomfortable interview. Sounds totally normal to me. Yeah Tim probably doesn’t like doing interviews that much, but is that such a crime.
They're both so weird lol
quite an uncomfortable feel between the interviewer and the interviwees
Laetitia comes across as mature confident and articulate - Tim’s constant squirming and face pulling as she speaks makes him look immature and neurotic
tea
I sat in on an interview one of my friends did with him for the local college radio station. Tim wasn't really excited about live interviews it seemed. We drove him to the show and it was more interesting to have an off cuff conversation with him. Laetitia is indeed a brilliant woman.
I only really know Laetitia but I've chatted with Tim and he wasn't immature or Neu!rotic.
;-)
I reckon it's because being on camera doing an interview is a forced environment.
They're both nice people off-camera/in real life (much like vista7 wrote).
why would you assume that?
@@NOWtheband Yah, Tim is just not comfortable doing interviews and not really comfortable talking about himself. I wish I had more time to talk to him when I did. He really enjoyed talking about going record shopping.
God the tension between tim and laeticia seems strong
What are these comments? Yall are tripping this is a normal interview lol
i am embarassed for the plastic interviewer
prrrreeeeeeety sure they are on shrooms
Impossible to sit through this....a really BAD interview.
