Save the last Dance 2 was okay if you haven't seen the first one, being as it was new actors but same story just more advanced.
We watched both back to back and while I liked both, the second one was kinda a spectacle of its self.

The 2007 movie hairspray was actually a remake. The original was from 1988 and starred Ricki Lake!

The 2007 movie was more of a musical while the 1988 was more of a dance movie.

"Save the last dance" was one of the first movies I watched in the movie theater, when I started going to movies A LOT. Now I feel super old.
Next, have them guess MUSICALS - Phantom of the Opera, Joseph, and Guys and Dolls to name a few.

A ballet teacher I had once, who was our Sugar Plum in Nutcracker when I used to do that show for many years as a kid, was in Center Stage as one of the Swan Lake dancers! Probably my fave movie centered about dance!

Honestly Brooklin and I relate so much when it comes to the Step Up movies, except my favorite was Step Up 3, because it had so many scenes with Moose in it. In 2012, Adam Sevani was everything to me.

I consider Grease more of a musical than "dance" ... you don't really watch Grease for dancing you watch it for the music. (Although I love the movie to death don't get me wrong lol!)
