Do They Know It #82 - DO TEENS KNOW 90s MUSIC? #10 (REACT: Do They Know It?) - ZĂĄbava
You hear like 20 times "Around the World" and there's still one person who didn't guess the title. Amazing.
Christina Aguilera, I think my mom likes her. Never thought I would hear those words
Chairface Chippendale fr tho... đđ
That's how Middle Age creeps in on you. I heard it from some 80's songs some time ago :)
Why?
I kinda wanna see older people (adults) guess that 90âs songs, ones that were around when they came out... just to see the nostalgia on their faces âșïž
Hearing that someone was born in 2002 BLOWS MY MIND
@Toni king Wtf why?
My daft punk heart hurts
who tf hasnt heard around the world
@@Pilzefresserfacts, itâs so iconic
"Daft Punk was around in the 90s?"
Um..that's when they started...
Their first album Homework came out in 97
Yeah in 93
alec zavala we can't know all music that is older than us, we mostly found out about them when Get lucky was a hit
To be fair, they (Daft Punk) are French and have been huge in Europe since the 90s. It's only in the mid/late 2000s that they got big in the US.
Yes, thatâs exactly what she WASNT aware of
"I'm not really a 90s kid I was born in 1998."
"I'm a 90s kids born in December 1999."
Rifty's Cat true
He was making a joke
"Is Backstreet back?"
Honey, Backstreet never left.
yaaassss lmao
They've always been in the backstreet. It's so main stream it's marginal
I think he's confused with N'sync because BSB never left and N'sync broke up years ago
he was probably expecting music rather than a polished turd...
I am laughing! "I'm a 90's kid, I was born with three weeks left in the decade."
These kids are awesome!!!!
âIs Backstreet back though?â
*BACKSTREET NEVER LEFT BOI**
ya they did. the band broke up in the 2000s.
Azura Moonstar but did dey doe
Azura Moonstar But theyâre back.
@@azadalamiq No, they actually never did. They took a break but never actually formally broke up. They have said for years that if they were to, they would come out and say it themselves that they are broken up. They're celebrating their 30th anniversary next year. đ€·đœââïžđ€·đœââïž
3:43 "this is my kind of music". Plot twist.
How can they not get Jay-Z when he says his bloody name in the song?
They probably think Jay is his first name & Z is the initial of his last name, utterly clueless that Jay-Z is a 'stage name'.
When will Blue by Eiffel 65 show up?
Backstreet back alright
the pain I felt when they were amazed daftpunk was 90's hahaha
legit
"Daft punk was around in the 90s?"
These are a special breed
Say what you want about the Backstreet Boys (and other boy bands) but the fact that teens now, 20 years later are familiar with their music and even listens to it says a lot. It's timeless, no matter how "cheesy" it might be...
woah calm down you fanny
Wow. Truly an original joke. Never heard that one before.
The year you were born has nothing to do with not knowing your era of music!. I was born in 1986 but I know a lot of my 50's 60's 70's and 90's music!.
When Carson starts dancing, i imagined Brooklin's reaction.
How tf do you "love JLo" but not know her best music from back in 90s and early 00s?
Weezer - Say It Ain't So. Nostalgic.
Carson totally rocked the body with backstreet boys
Backstreet Boys my childhood jam...love them till today....
Every time there is a rock song: WTF is that, never heard that, who listens to this??
Everytime there is a rap song: OMG you guys played that, that's my kind of music, BEST EVER!!
Crazy_Canuck_97 so what's your point? They happened to prefer rap music. Big surprise!
+Nemesis VFX the fact is that it's kinda sad how they don't even know CLASSICS
"I Love JLo. She's such a good singer." Joke of the century
I know right!
yesđđ
đđ
*Born December 31st 1999 at **11:59**pm*
Yeah I'm a 90's baby
I'm 1992, my husband is 1983.... we face palmed to ALL of it, as we usually do.
I don't think my vision is coming back after the eye roll from hearing "daft punk are from the 90s?!"
same
đ€Ł
I see daftpunk
I click
New challenge for you. Play the songs from a movie soundtrack and they get three guesses. They can guess at any point during the playbacks but they only get three tries. There are so many movies that have multiple awesome songs in their soundtrack that it would be interesting to see if they could identify the movie by the soundtrack.
I like it... Great suggestion
I like it as well so I'm repeating it. Please do a Guess that movie challenge where the soundtrack is played and they have three guesses to pick the movie from the songs played. If you guys agree please post a comment stating the challenge too so that they can see a bunch of people like the idea.
Ilaadrien Evenstarr YESSSS MAKE THIS A THING
I never get why people use how they were not born when that music came so they don't know it. I wasn't born until 86 but I know tons of music from the 50's 60's and 70's. Good music is good music.
Agreed, I was born 87, my favourite genre is 50s rockabilly and then it goes on from there!
Exactly i was born in 94 my but mum was always playing a heap of older music everyday youth these days dont know what there missing out on with older music
You guys def need more rock and metal DO THEY KNOW IT video's
Despite "being clueless about everything" Darius looks the epitome of the 90's
"It's either Christina Aguilera or Paula Abdul" lmao Those two voices could never be confused for each other.
No he said he thought the title was Paula Abdul
Wait nevermind
Mirca Caceres Note the use of quotes... as well as the rest of the comment...
we got Daft Punk and Backstreet Boys in here.... THANK YOU!!!!!!! â„â„â„â„
âIâve heard this song before.â
Hearing Hard Knock Life totally took me back to watching Austin Powers as a 90s kid! Classic!
How everybody started smiling and dancing at the BSB song :D xD
Can't believe these kids did not know Around The World.
5:25 "its just the same thing over and over again "so like every song nowadays đ
U mean nowadays instead of now and days?
7:15 "I love J.Lo, she's amazing and she's such a good singer" OH GOD...
LMFAO
Jay Z literally only sounds like Jay Z, how do you not get him
ĐŃŃ, ĐŸŃĐșŃĐŽĐ° Ń ĐżĐ°ŃĐœŃ ŃŃŃĐ±ĐŸĐ»ĐșĐ° Ń ĐĐŸŃĐ° Đ ŃбŃĐžĐœŃĐșĐžĐč?)))
I would love to have some of them react to artist that they know in English, but their songs in Spanish (like Shakira, Jennifer LĂłpez, Christina Aguilera...)
yeeeeeees
Like with Xtina her singles like come on over or genie in a bottle then in Spanish. That's a god idea tho
They should react to Shakiraâs âSuerte suerteâ and âLobaâ
9:27 BACKSTREET NEVER LEFT
Darius reacting to that Backstreet Boys song is my spirit animal
Jordan's smile lights up my day.
đFINALLY A BACKSTREET BOY SONG đđđđ
âIâm a 90âs kid, december 4th 1999â
*proceeds to fail every single song except two*
Pretty sure he was joking, because he's not a 90s kid...
I really want to see Elderly be tested on 80s and 90s music lol.
Should do a one hit wonder episode from all the eras. Used to love those random cd's with a bunch of em.
These are my favs. Bring on more 90s music.
Do 90/80's music that has been sampled by modern music. Like Carlos santana Maria Maria was sampled by DJ Khaled!
Born in 1998 or 99.
90s kids: you are on this council but we do not grant you the rank of master
Finally Zombie. You should show his music videos. They are crazy
I would love to see either the now adults or teens react to early 2000s TV shows. Like maybe one video for one tree hill, another for the oc. Maybe even go 90s with some Dawson's creek? That'd be fun.
I love one tree Hill but haven't seen dawnson creek yet
Dawson's Creek is a little hard to get into in my opinion, but Seasons 2 and 3 make it completely worth it the Season 1 struggle. If you have the a Fullscreen membership, you can watch it there.
im a simple person, i see daft punk, i click :)
also you should get them to react to French music (justice, stromae etc) so sick of seeing only k-pop being reacted to.
Whichever one of the 8 who couldn't work out that the Daft Punk song was called 'Around the World' needs to hang their head in shame. THEY'RE THE ONLY LYRICS!
Seth's t-shirt says "ĐĐŸŃĐ° Đ ŃбŃĐžĐœŃĐșĐžĐč", LMAO
whats funny about that... its someones name/a brand
Daft punk = Legend
That's all I have to say.
This guy! 8:53. That is the most appropriate reaction to any song in the history of these videos.
''Daft Punk were in the 90's?!!'' my head hurts
âItâs always the big artist I never getâ lmao poor kid never gets any right...he would get everybody by backstreet boy right tho đ
Nothing completes a 90s music video more that a nose ring. Thanks Darius
Should do a Adults/College react to "Teens react to 00s/90s/80s/70s music"
Have you thought about doing a one/hit wonders challenge? Like come on Eileen by the Dexyâs Midnight Runners
No way Jayka was born in 2002
Daniel Venns yup she is. But she looks so young tbh
I would love to see people from different nationalities in this "do they know" series. It'd be interesting watching all of the different experiences and reactions.
*yall need to put some 90s r&B on these!!!!!!!!*
I wish more kids these days explored more music than the current stuff
So do I
We need more metalheads \m/
YoBoyDrax no
I know Rob Zombieâs voice.
That backstreet boys reaction was funny im sure half of the teens reacted to them lol
Would love to see if any of them know Basshunter or Cascada For a 2000's reaction
Frozen Fang Yesss.
Yessss
"I'm a 90's kid, born in 99" that makes you a 90's baby, not a kid. You didn't even learn how to talk yet lol
Carson would fit in perfectly in backstreet boys XDD
Well, I guess EVERYBODY got Backstreet Boys. Good job guys!
Kid born in 1998, thank you for saying that you're not really a 90s kid. Technically yes, you were born in the 90s but you didn't really grow up in the 90s.
God, you don't hear what you don't want to, do you?
HouseMDaddict i agree with u but then it got instantly contradicted by the kid who was born in 99 and thought he was a 90s kid lmao
Vadoom 335 I thought he was being sarcastic though
0:07 They never left đ And technically it's called "Everybody (Backstreets Back)" but close enough lol
And the song is like 26 years old. omg
Elementary to middle school= Rap songs swearing explicit content
highschool= back to to 90s
This was awesome!
I grew up in the 90s and I didin't even know some of those songs!
Lyric breakdown of around the world by daft punk pls
Matthew Manalo yeah good idea I really like the lyrics in around the world.
I find it ironic they were getting fed up of the daft punk song seen as though today's music is very repetitive as well
today's songs don't have the same word being repeated 144 times, tho
yep, no one has the same word being repeated 144 times
Ok but nowhere near Around the World. Even Daft Punk fans admit to it being incredibly repetitive.
Despite it's repetitiveness it was extremely popular and has a great flow, it develops in some parts of the song. Daft Punk aren't much about vocals.
Oscar Magaña Around the World is not a song you listen to in the car, its a song you dance to
I'm guessing the Xtina stans took you to task for not calling "Come On Over BABY," so I'll say something different: Why'd you have to stop "Let's Get Loud" before the kickass instrumental breakdown!? I was SO ready for it!
Yes, I was thinking the same thing. We always abbreviated it COOB for a reason, lol.
These children are killing me..."Daft punk was around in the 90s?!" smdh
daft punk can say "around the world" 568 times and it will still be an awesome song.
him : what year were you born?
her : oh 2002
him : *runs for his life*
Bruh have they never heard any rock or metal
8:30 a classic example of one of those people that wears a band shirt but doesn't know who the artist is or any of the songs
I'm blue by Eiffel 65 should be a song on this
"Daft Punk were around in the 90s??" That broke my heart.
Huge facepalm. I know right these people just take everything for granted.
conyo985 I'm sure he thought The Weeknd introduced Daft Punk to the world.
Choogzyy TV personally ive known that they have been around for a while but didnt think they were in the 90s
I'm not gonna lie a piece of my hearts heals when Jordan smiles
"Daft Punk was around in the 90s?!!" I give up on this generation.....
Ok so you guys already had Britney, Christina, and Mandy songs as part of the 90s react..Now you just need a Jessica Simpson song next time to round out the 90s pop princesses.
Bruh do teens and college kids know 80s horror films for this Halloween special
How do they not know AROUND THE WORLD BY DAFT PUNK?!?!
I know, right? Like who DOESN'T know who Daft Punk is
Just put the damn Sandstorm to one of these already.
2001 buddy
Some might say 1999, but thats why i said "to one of these", because they have made "do teens know 2000's music".
there's a difference between 90's kid and 99's newbornđ
Seth Seth Seth...son...THATâs j.lo god damn! They have very different and distinct voices. Man. How can you not tell the difference? Also Shakira sings with an accent when in English. Oi dios mio. Kids. You where born in 99â, and I in 89â. You should know this since Shakira came out with her single âWhenever Whereverâ around 2002-2004 which got her started globally. Guess I should insert a smiley since people think you are mad otherwiseđđ€Šââïž
Gille87 chill, He was still a young child during that time đ
Sai A. Hell I know music all the way back to the 60âs.
Gille87 doesn't mean that he has to đ
Carson jamming to Everybody is my aesthetic đ
70âs , 80âs , 90âs. Cars or toys would be fun
