  • Bert Kreischer comes on Mohr Stories to swap dirty spittle coated stories and crack wise like pothead frat boys.
Wikipedia says, Albert "Bert" "The Machine" Kreischer is an American stand-up comedian, actor and reality television host. In 1997, as a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, he was featured in Rolling Stone as "the top partier" at Florida State University, the "top party school in the US", while he was in his sixth year of college.[1] The Rolling Stone article was the inspiration for the 2002 movie Van Wilder. From 2000 to 2001, he was the co-host of the FX Network variety show The X Show. A segment that aired on the show, "Ass Wax", where Kreischer had his hair removed with hot wax, led Kreischer to gain his own show on the FX Network, titled Hurt Bert, in 2004.[2] In the same year, he had a role in an episode of the police drama The Shield.[3]
Kreischer claims that on a college field trip to Russia, he drank with the Russian mob (after accidentally introducing himself with the phrase "Я машина") and even participated in a robbery while intoxicated. He talked about these exploits on June 5, 2006 on Loveline, January 14, 2011, on DC101's "Elliot in the Morning", April 5, 2011, on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast #95, Opie and Anthony on June 28, 2011, WTF with Marc Maron on January 9, 2012, WMMR's Preston and Steve Show on January 12, 2012,[4] and on "The Todd and Tyler Radio Empire" on August 2, 2012, and on WIYY/98 Rock's Morning Show Mickey, Amelia, and Spiegel.
Parts of Kreischer's stand-up routine were used in Comedy Central's animated series Shorties Watchin' Shorties, which aired in 2004 and is now on DVD. In 2008, he participated in the Comedy Central reality show Reality Bites Back, where comedians competed in a variety of contests that were parodies of different reality shows. In 2009, he was given a one hour comedy special on Comedy Central titled Bert Kreischer: Comfortably Dumb. Kreischer was formerly known as the fifth member of the Cowhead Radio Show in Tampa, Florida.
In 2010, he became the host of the Travel Channel reality show Bert the Conqueror. In the show, he is an "everyday guy" who travels across the United States to amusement parks and other entertainment venues to experience and promote various roller coasters, water rides, and unusual sports.[5]
On January 19, 2011, Kreischer appeared as a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience and revealed that the story of National Lampoon's Van Wilder was loosely based on his own life. After the Rolling Stone article was written about Kreischer's "party" lifestyle, he had gotten the attention of Oliver Stone, who had wished to develop a film based on his life. Upon receiving numerous script submissions, the deal had apparently fallen apart and all the writers had retained the intellectual rights to their work. One of these writers had supposedly changed Kreischer's name on their script and sold it to National Lampoon which eventually became the basis for Van Wilder. He also revealed this two years earlier on the Jay Thomas Show on Sirius Satellite Radio.
Bert has always been a strong activist to permit un-athletic children to play sports. When he performed in Atlanta he was quoted as saying, "My goal is for each of them to be either a shirt or a skin regardless of their background in chess club or larping."
Kreischer's book Life of the Party: Stories of a Perpetual Man-Child will be published by St. Martin's Press in May 2014.
He is also known for his strong activism for unathletic children to play sports.

I don't understand Bert being mad at Jay. He gave permission to tell it and Bert told him it was ok, unless Bert was totally lying. But still according to this Bert gave his approval that Jay could tell it.
Except for when Jay changed the story and made it about him and put it in the special.

Bert was literally told to protect him. He breaks it down on tigerbelly. Jay first told the story on opie and anthony and bert heard it. He said that really hurt him. Jay was still his boss at the time though so to protect Jay, he acted like he gave Jay approval.

He didn’t REALLY give Jay approval. Jay stole the story and was bullied into saying he gave the story to Jay by the manager they shared.

I miss that time Kevin Smith didn't want to make movies and made a radio station (S.I.R. Smodcast Internet Radio) and hosted literally 8-9 hours a day.

Sadly, as of May 2017… still nope. Jay and Nikki are in the middle of a divorce (again) that isn't going to end well for either of them, emotionally, cuz Jay only filed the divorce papers to protect the kids from Nikki's drug habits. Jay did a lot of friendship repairs after his previous divorce, so who knows? Maybe these two will be funny together again some day.
Jay knows what he's done (obviously). He would have to be the one to re-open the lines of communication and offer up a pretty serious fucking apology. These two used to be such good friends, I'm sure Bert would at least be willing to hear him out if Jay reached out to him - despite the opinions of two of his other friends: Joe Rogan and Doug Stanhope. Joe still tells Bert he's better off without Jay, and Stanhope… I don't know what Jay Mohr did to Doug… but I think he's still just as pissed off as the day it happened.
Since the US election I sent a msg to both Jay Mohr and Joe Rogan to ask them to do a podcast together "and prove to America, and the world, that adults with differences of opinion can resolve conflicts and work together. Unless they can't… because if they can't, we're all fucked." … they didn't fall for it. :(

Lucas Thompson i get the sense that Bert is a bit of a parasite...He said on Opie and Anthony years ago that Jay literally saved his life when he was completely broke and toiling in obscurity with his career flatlining. Bert got high profile gigs, including TV from Jay...then turns on him to get in the good graces of Joe Rogan who is huge right now with one of the biggest podcasts in the world. He used to treat Jay like a god. Now he treats Rogan like a god and wont even say Jays name out loud. Bert said himself that he told Jay he "needs" to do the Tracy Morgan bit bc he cant do the impression, but did a 180 and acted like he was victimized by a thief afterwards...something Rogan is obviously passionate about.
