    can this be controlled via the Fiio app? when I try to open the app it says it's for bluetooth, but I saw somewhere that it worked with the KA1 too

    Equalizer have no effects on 24Bit 96KHz FLAC files in this dongle. Since EQ adjustment for high sampling rate songs would sometimes cause system delay, so Fiio have set the Equalizer to be invalid for songs that with higher sampling rate than 48 kHz.

      Yes I'm setting up my binaural mic head rig! From fist impressions the sound have a wide stage and high detail.
      No emphasis on the bass just a clean and balance sound with accurate bass!

      First you have to enable developer mode.
      launch the Settings.
      Step 2: Now, scroll down and tap on About Phone option. Step 3: Once you do that, go to Build Number and tap on it 7 times.
      Then search - disable USB audio Routing
      In the settings search line.
      Try to turn it on or off.

      @iTestVlog  Před 2 lety

      Ok,
      Two more methods
      1. Disable audio Routing ( developer menu,)
      And plug I'm the fiio than restart your phone.
      2. Try to turn on and off otg ( developer menu )

      @@naofumi2558 Sorry to hear that, op6 has nice sound quality through the 3.5mm jack i had one before. I would try fiio's BTR series then you have total control over the quality through the Developer's mode sound quality settings.

    This or the iBasso DC05?

    • @iTestVlog
      @iTestVlog  Před 2 lety +1

      First I didn't compare both and not on the same earphones.
      But a few points:
      * Ibasso is 20$ more expensive.
      * It can drive bigger headphones
      So if you have high impedance
      headphones you will need the
      ibasso.
      * As to the sound i assume the
      ibasso have a better bass. And
      The fiio ka1 has more airy
      Sound. I would blance my iem
      For example if u have a heavy
      Bass iem i would take the Fiio
      And vice versa for example the
      Moondrop chi should sound
      Interesting with the ibasso
      DC05.
      Of course All of this is just an
      Assessment and I didn't made
      A direct compression.
