    Imo, If you do not have any accounting background, then you must start with FAR, since the knowledge you learned from FAR will be carried on to AUD and REG, and even BAR, since the majority of the topics from FAR are being moved to BAR.

  • @JesusRodriguez-yw5vu

    I started my CPA process a while ago. There was one exam passed, many failed and repeated… I think I wasn’t focused enough.
    AUD has been the hardest because I have no experience in audit and you have to take the exam from an auditor perspective and not the entity being audited (which is where I’ve been sometimes at work)
    FAR is very long and stressful.
    I just took BEC (before the change) I hope it went well. I have to say I barely follow the SFCPA method, I was testing the best way to manage it and I think I found it toward the end. We’ll see.
    My next exam it might be FAR - get that hard core exam out of the way. But based on the chart shown, I’m going to focus on the question and practice exercises (which is what Nate recommend) and go from there.
    Good luck everyone!

    Thank you for this video. I have yet to pass, but I am restarting and I really appreciate the insight into the new exam. Tell me, do you recommend, taking the corresponding discipline section right after you take the core section? For example, I am starting with REG (only because what I do is more tax related) so I plan on taking TCP after REG. Or would you recommend getting all the core sections done first and then doing a discipline?

    I'd love for you to cover the order to take with the new changes.....Personally, I'm going with FAR-BAR-AUD-REG.....but I'm thinking of switching AUD with BAR's placement because I don't think I'll have enough time to study BAR within the first window

    @nikole.hatton Před 5 měsíci +2

    Takeaway from this video: You cannot just put in time-your time must include true understanding in order for you to get true retention & results! Example: 50 hours of so-so time to get a green check mark from a study course is worth much less than 25 hours of hammering MCQs and “planting the seeds” that help you pass your exam. 🤩

    I wouldn't recommend taking FAR under the new score release schedule because you'll have to wait months to receive the score for the hardest test and if you failed you'll have to restudy the material again after studying for the other three tests. Unless you start FAR right before the release date window.

    Hi Nate and Logan!
    Question: I’m waiting on score release for BEC. Would you recommend sticking with BAR, if I didn’t pass to not lose that knowledge or switch to FAR?

    • @SuperfastCPA
      @SuperfastCPA  Před 5 měsíci

      Hi Tiana. First of all, did you pass BEC?! To answer your question, if FAR was financial reporting "101", BAR contains a lot of financial reporting "202" type stuff, meaning some of the advanced areas of topics covered on FAR. So I would recommend going back to FAR first. Then the stuff from BEC that's covered on BAR will come back to you pretty easily, and you'll then have the FAR 101 stuff covered which will make BAR easier to take after FAR.

    I have two exams left, AUD and a discipline. I have taken AUD three times and failed, but REG I passed on my first try. My question is, should I take ISC or BAR since I am also studying for AUD? Or should I take the TCP since REG was easier for me?

    • @SuperfastCPA
      @SuperfastCPA  Před 5 měsíci

      So we don't do tutoring, I'll try not to go on a rant but in my opinion a tutor is like a video lecture in person. It can be helpful, but at the end of the day you need to walk into the testing center and be able to answer the questions yourself, and so learning the skill of de-constructing or "reverse engineering" questions and sims is the most important thing, and that is what our strategies and our study tools is based on. Anyways- the best place to start is by watching one of our free trainings because that goes over our study strategies for free: www.superfastcpa.com/study-secrets/
