You know Chase hit the big league when he get to narrate diagnosis animation.
Big facts
Under-rated comment!
only house gets the diagnosis animation, this means one thing
true lol
@@blikthepro972 this was the moment that chase truly became Housenberg.
I want an episode where the patient sees the medical bill after all this.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 that’s very funny.
code blue code blue !!! ha ha ha!!!
Isnt this a free clinic?
@@chaneugeneec it has a free clinic. The hospital as a whole isn't
Well in the cuddy episode that guy sued after he saw the bill
Foreman was all about the ladder, Cameron was all about Approval, while Chase learned to solve puzzles.
Foreman actually is more Cuddy than House. Cuddy has to learn to play around the rules with House, and be good at what to allow and not allow. If you actually watch a lot of Foreman, you see his street smarts shape to be good at THAT, and not becoming House 2.0.
That was also why Chase replaced House in the series finale
@@antithoughtpolice7497 and foreman originally wanted to become the next house. But the thing is, house didn’t even want to be house so you can’t force it. Foreman became cuddly and chase became house

Me too. Broke my heart
No child should ever have to feel this way.
Saddest sentence ever, especially given that it's coming from a little kid :-(
Further proof that Chase was always the true successor to House.
Yeah Foreman was good but honestly he just wanted to be in charge
@@vitomcsween974 Foreman wanted to be the new Cuddy :D
Yeah chase thought outside the box like house more often. He was House’s first fellow and learned the most from him. He was destined to be his successor.
Except for when Kutner was on the team.
The last season was filled with moments like this to shoehorn Chase into the role of House's replacement... but every previous season was so blatantly painting Foreman into that role
Chase now has had a broken heart from a past relationship and a life-threatening accident. A few more wrinkles on his shirt is the only distance between him and House classic.
Yeah more like a broken heart from that scalpel
but as far as we know house never killed a foreign dictator bent on genocide.
Emphasis on "as far as we know".
I'm surprised with current cancel culture they even show House in reruns. Everyone gets so hurt over something said on a TV show now. We're already at the point where the shows are awful because the writers are always trying to get out their own personal message.
@@chethammer House is usually right about a lot of things.

The Prodigal Son
Even his shirt isn't ironed in this
Chase become the new House and Foreman become the new Cuddy. Soon they will make out.
But with a better bedside manner
Is this a joke because lots of people usually say that in the comment? It's season 8 Episode 19, you can't call that foreshadowing.
The non ironed shirt of Chase was another foreshadowing of Chase being next House

Wow i did not know that! Thanks for the fun fact 😁
No wonder he wasn't around. Man broke the Fourth Wall and decided to just direct the episode himself
He also directed a lockdown episode and that was one of the best episodes
Ii wonder if he tried to throw the actors off by directing with a linp and cane the entire time
@@HeXaR_TOX. He directed The C word too.
I've watched all House episodes but watching it here on youtube and reading comments make it more interesting. I feel like we're all watching it together in the living room and talking about it. Makes me feel less lonely during this lockdown period.
Aww so true ❤️
Same, I did this to almost every series I watch
Agreed
I agree, Jo! ❤️
You're in lockdown in April 2021? Where are you living?
"I shouldn't be here" was the only intelligent thing the mom said the entire episode.
@Kirk Eby I believe it might be a rule in some hospitals their feelings for them can get in the way of the patients health and can cloud the doctor’s judgment on certain procedures
@@shaunminaj665 It is generally discouraged. So restrictions can be made by states or superiors but there is no federal law.
Kind of on Foreman for letting it happen though
My mom is a chiropractor and she’s been doing it successfully for over 30 years, she still has me go see another chiropractor she trusts because of this very reason. Feelings can get in the way of the most trivial things.
No she should not have specially when she did that to her child
“You know Mommy never has to ask”
🥺🥺🥺
That was so sweet! He doesn’t care about what happened between them, only that his daughter is happy.
When the father became the mother and father, and the real mother had become a full time doctor
He was also flirting
to be fair i don’t think either of the parents lost love or care for one another, they just realized that given their current situation they were no longer in a healthy relationship. it happens a lot where two people love each other deeply but finances, kids, and any outside stressor causes the relationship to become more toxic than it once was and that’s okay. they probably still enjoy spending time together and based on this clip my guess is they could get back together in the future but it all depends on whether the mom and dad can find compromise and grow.
As someone from a broken home, this was a very beautiful moment to see.
When that little girl said, “maybe when I die they will get back together...”
I WANTED TO CRY AND HOLD HER! That is one good child actor, I felt those feels!
Ugh, I know right?! Like how do you even respond to something like that? Never mind it coming from a sick little girl who pretty much all she knows is seeing her parents fighting about her! Geez, that child actress, she broke my heart just hearing her say that! 😢❤
Without a doubt, one of the saddest and unselfish thought I have heard coming from a child.
Literally said 'Oh, Jesus' and laughed nervously when she said that.
no child would ever say that lol
@@BBCBOY919 a child that knows they have an expiration date definitely would.

oh hugh laurie actually directed this episode which is cool :D
It was a blasphemy not having house for this episode. We couldve had the idiot sandwich ala house.
@Kirk Eby Exactly, she basically shot down every idea they had. I wish we could of seen House telling her what an idiot she is.
1:20
Chase said exactly what House usually says... "What are we missing?"
3:43 "what mimics a clot that isn't a clot". House would've said that too
pay attetion and you'll notice a lot of Chase paroding House btw look at there names and Foreman paroding Cuddy

3:55 "give me some theories.."
The little girl is a phenomenal little actress in this! I really hope she's gone on to bigger and better things since this - or is at least happy doing whatever she's doing.
Her names is Rachel egggleston
Interestingly, the acting in House was always good. Even from one-off characters. They had a knack for finding the right people and giving them opportunities to shine.
@@wjzav1971 And the kids were usually excellent. Much better than comedic acting by kids on sitcoms, who are always cutesy overacting. The girl in "Autopsy" was also brilliant.
She's 16 now and according to IMDB, she's been in at least five or six films/TV movies from her pre-teens up. Her career is slowly taking off.
She reminds me of Hallie Eisenberg from 'Bicentennial Man', but without the curly hair
A mother working on her daughter's case would not work for 30 mins in an actual hospital

Anybody else still waiting for Fox to greenlight CHASE, M.D.? It'd be cool to see whenever Jesse's done with that firefighter show he's currently leading.
If they do it, they need to have a solid writing base. Cant be going off the rails like the last couple seasons
Sadly even if they did it would probably be garbage because of the current culture. PC culture, cancel culture and so on, that house md made fun of. If you look at any show that started off before 2010 then how they are now its clear that they have changed, most likely for the worse do to the fact they can't make jokes about anyone.

The little girl’s acting is amazing! The way she went completely limp…
Right!?
And her mouth was crooked during the stroke.
I think this show has been hinting at Chase being the next House ever since Chase killed that one dictator
I'd argue since Season 3. Chase gets the answer right while House is wrong in Finding Judas after a very Housian epiphany, and when House is away during Airborne, Chase is the one that jumps from the patient's cat's bowl being full to identifying an environmental cause.
I think House always knew that Chase would be his successor.

Chase has always been my favourite character from house! I just love him sm🥺
Some kids are so adorable that it painful watch them growing up in a world like this
omg, that last sentence is so amazing!
"You know mommy never has to ask!"
Thats so amazing to hear and it genuinly shows that they put the child before themselves!
I think over the course of the episode the mother learned that she can't shelter her child forever because of her genetic disease. This acceptance was shown when see didn't freak out at her husband for taking the daughter to the woods.
@@Lorkanthal the mother became a fulltime doctor which resulted in her not knowing what her child liked or disliked
The father became mother and father, and knew all the little personality quirks of his daughter that the mother (with custody) should've known
it's worth noting that the dad and mom still do love each other, the dad didn't agree with the moms overprotectiveness and hyper fixation on trying to be the lone savior of her daughter. through the episode she learns her actions have made her daughter's health worse, not better, you see that with her saying that she was being too protective and that she wasn't mad over the dad taking her to the woods. I feel like the 2 finally came to a sort of understanding on where they need to be for their daughter and the realization that they still have feelings for one another
I would honestly love to have a spinoff following Chase and his team.
I love how in this show, doctors can't think of something. And then House (or someone else) says "C'MON GIVE ME SOME IDEAS" and they start remembering rare diseases suddenly.
Im guessing they'd stop filtering ideas based on rarity or poor fit, just to get something out there, which then gets the ball rolling
@@addisonkennedy7111 Yeah House specifically mentions in some episodes to give him even things that sound stupid. But then in other episodes he yells at them for giving him stupid ideas lol.

I love the subtle change in Doctor Mom's hair throughout the episode. she comes in all up and put together, hair very neat and tidy, and as she unravels as both a mother and a doctor, so does her hair. by then end of the episode her bun is barely held together. love subtle visual cues that indicate a mood shift

Never underestimate a child's ability to cut through adult BS
from these clips that girl was a pretty good actor
i mean for a girl so young she didnt take me out of it cause of bad line delivery
The CGI showing blood flow, embolisms, heart valves etc. in this show is just so amazing.
This is further proof that Chase was picking up pieces of House and adding it to him. He is the true successor to House
Wow that child actor was great
This was a nice throwback to the girl with Cushing's. Both of them stood outside the patient's room and asked for theories.
"They only fight about me..."
"Maybe when I die, they'll get back together..."
Those sentences broke my heart. No child should feel this way! 😭
But as a matter of fact, kids often do....
"Maybe if I..., they would get back together"
Kids desperately want and need their parents to love each other and be happy together. It makes them feel safe and happy. And when that is threatened, they can resort to all kinds of behaviours to make that happen, sometimes including manifesting/exaggerating illnesses and disorder. Other times, masking.
It's sad that not all marriages are destined to be happy and safe. But that is the ideal...
She has the cutest voice ever. It reminds me of Rapunzel when she was a child.
The way the daddy is holding her in the hospital bed is so sweet

@@handlenot030 In trials yes. But an untested drug that was later found to cause renal failure?
Idk why people think Kutner would be the next House. He was indeed "goofy", but he doesn't have much compared to Chase.
Chase is the most experienced with most time with House. He is/was a certified minister and hypnotist. He is specialized in neurosurgery with one of the best track record in surgeries in the hospital. He has travelled the world the most and is most knowledgable of world events.
All of this makes him the best doctor to replace House when he left.
He was not a neurosurgeon
What would being a minister and hypnotist have to do with it?
Yes, but Kutner was the best replacement for Chase, which transitively means that of the 3 (4, including MB), he could've been the next House.
@@hweidigiv i dont find kutner being mature enough with the situations. House has had his mishaps and is immature at times, but usually with patients his immaturity is to test the patients. I am glad that kutner finds the job fun and is glad to be able to the job he does, but i dont think in the long run he could have handled the stress and the terrible situations of all his patients over time.
@@tgbluewolf these wide array of experiences has helped him deal with patients faith and with hynotism it was a decent tool. Both of these paths he took shows that he is more that just a person interested in medicine and has a desire to pursue other talents and knowledge. Having a wide array of talents and knowledge has helped House diagnose the extreme cases that show up. The other doctors dont have that, except kutner with his geek hobby knowledge, which isnt all that relevant.
Sweet video 😊
Myxoma usually happen in adults so this was a very abnormal case, also a myxoma usually localizes to the left atrium and that doesn't usually break off into the pulmonary vasculature because blood is flowing from high pressure to low pressure so theoretically it would actually go into the left ventricle up into the aorta and could cause the raynauds dude to the branching off the descending aorta. However the liver failure yes is a back pressure problem from the right atrium however, like i said myxomas are way more common in the left atrium so this is theoretically possible if it was in the right atrium but very unlikely still.
