i think they absolutely nailed the vader/ani/obi relationship.

Agreed. One of the best elements of the show.

Yeah! That Lancer Class! Woot! I really want to know about that one. I agree with you, this was solidly a 7/10. I am satisfied. I will be rewatching this, but maybe fast forwarding through some bits. Like, I've watched the first season of Mando I think five times, but season two only three times while *totally* skipping a couple episodes. But I won't be rewatching BoBF, apart from the Mando bits - especially the Wizard parts (I've watched those a dozen times or more already). And this, Kenobi - this ended...properly. It is worthy of a rewatch while doing dishes and so forth.

The only thing that I would've loved to see is obi and anakin in their clone wars attire in flashbacks (I think we should've gotten more flashbacks, just me)

Overall id agree, but maybe a bit more positive. Id give the show a whole a solid B+.
There was a bit of cheese, sure, but this is Star Wars. I do think this show did a much better job than other recent media (BoBF...) at staying away from just being notstalgia bait. It started to go that direction in the last episode, but in 1-5 it was all subtle enough and relevant to the story. As an example, i thought the parts were Obiwan was telling Leia about how she reminded him of Padme were really well done.

I think parts 2, 3, and 4 could have been combined.
Leia getting rescued, captured, then rescued again felt unnecessary and I feel like it could have been parsed down a bit

Kenobi has some really neat highs and bombastic scenes that unfortunately failed to tell a cohesive single narrative. Most side characters were undeveloped (Roken, Grand Inq, Haja, 4th/5th Inq) and the pacing was jarring and confusing. There were many examples of how to tell the exact same story while maintaining suspension of disbelief. Put Leia in a storage crate, Have Vader dmg the hyperdrive, ISD chasing through an asteroid field, sending more than 1-2 ships, where are the tie fighters?? IDK, Clone Wars was incredible and I think I almost wish Kenobi was never made. It's mediocre for me. 4/10 series with occasional 7/10 episodes.

And I will add that I liked Reva's story quite a bit... But it really seemed like it should have been explored outside of the Kenobi story. Would have had more time to explore the characters. Imagine watching her entire fall to the dark side, hunting and killing other Jedi before ramping to a massive climax where she can't kill another youngling/Skywalker kid. I'm disappointed because I care so much and want there to be more awesome characters, especially female dark side users!

It was okay. Better than the sequal trilogy, not as good as Mandolorian, about the same as Book of Boba. Not rewatchable.
