Apparently a multi-million dolor company thought that GoAnimate was a decent animating software
I once typed some critical feedback in the comments section of a GoAnimate video. It was part of an episodic series starring a cat and a dog, and I found the episodes to be mind-numbingly boring, which I thought was due to the stories having no conflict and the characters having no personality. I later got a reply from someone saying that they liked the series because, and I quote, the animation is good.

The only thing similar about The Simpsons and Family Guy to me is that they are both animated adult comedy shows about a regular American family.
Except for that they seem very different to me.
Imagine if Paradise PD was a straight up Action Comedy that tries hard to go over the top in action and insanity over being offensive
That would actually be funny, it would be a parody and over exaggeration of action shows
Like, they could have this overly random and bizzare action scene before the end of every episode (but it would have to relate to the storyline in some way)
Don't recall if it was offensive so it may be excluded, but "Axe Cop" from what I can remember (and a few minutes looking it up to recall the name,) was pretty over the top in both action and insanity...
Had two seasons and Nick Offerman voiced the Main Character.

Seth Mcfarland is an extremely talented and cool guy but his influence has kinda tainted adult animation.
It's not even that. He does not bother writing for the show anymore, does nothing with his Executive Producer title, and just shows up to voice his characters and collect his checks.
The only show of his that is still good is American Dad, and that's just because the writing staff are decent.
I'm still pissed about them canning The Cleveland Show.

The crossover episode title sounds like a fanfiction title.
Brickleberry is like someone telling a bad joke, and Paradise PD is a retelling of said bad joke hoping for a laugh this time around
But don't forget that the person retelling the joke must also patronize the people who didn't laugh and pretend like if anyone else told the joke then it would've been funny, but in reality it was the joke itself that was unfunny.
"The Simpsons Guy" wasn't helped by the fact that they only used FG writers, not that it wouldn't take more than two seconds to tell...

For me it seemed weird comparing their different styles. Brickleberry has an art style just different enough from Police PD for them not look natural together.

Well the thing is that paradise pd legitimately had more than 1 animation company just outright refuse to animate it so they probably didn't get the same people as they had for brickleberry.

How do you make a crossover with what's essentially the same series but in a different scenario?
It's like if the Simpsons had a crossover with one of the non Canon eps that just put them in other scenario.
The most frustrating part of this show for me is that they got Dana Snyder to do at least one third of the voices. So I just keep hearing Master Shake doing an old man voice, and Master Shake doing a flamboyant fat guy voice, and Master Shake pretty much being a lot of the secondary characters.

The weird part is that this crossover was a little similar to the simpsons and familiy guy crossover:
The episode has a beginning unrelated to the actual plot of the crossover, the characters meet each other randomly, they make self aware and 4th wall breaks jokes about each of the both shows, the characters of both shows fight each other for some reasom, they apologize each other and the epsiode ends very oddly...

You know, I just started watching Avatar the Last Airbender again (Because bf had never seen it and this issue needed to be rectified immediately before we can consider marriage) and I can't help but recall the smooth colours and sweeping landscapes and fluid movements from episode one.
That's a kids show.

Not only does Avatar have much better animation, it also is much better written, has better comedy and far more mature themes.
I see your point but I donât think investing that much time into the backgrounds and such would lend well to a comedy focused show. Even good ones usually just stay more simplistic like how Paradise PD does it.
