- Manganese nodules do look like carbonized cauliflower and are supposed to be the new source of iron for our technologized society. But them lying on the floor of the Pacific, approximately four kilometers deep, poses a big problem.

The title should be why deep sea mining marked the end of the earth and our oceans.
here here ...
But of course. We might as well fuckup the seas and the sea beds too while we are about it. Ffs
Great. Deep sea mining. What could possibly go wrong?
It is only our unsatisfied taste for modern technology and searches for mineral resources that can only be concluded as the total destruction and end of this beautiful planet
planet will be fine.
I'm sick of these companies who make a fortune while destroying Earth. I hope & wish....
Maybe we now mine all that lithium in that car transporter ship sitting in 3 km of Atlantic Ocean .which sank after catching 🔥 fire with 3,000 EV’s aboard .
They should be using all this effort and money into exploring other planets that are suitable for human life because it won't be long before greed destroys this planet and everything on it!
This minning will be the death of the ocean and planet.
The answer is, make 1 lifelong device for everyone.
YES!! ,CANADA HAVE A LOTS OF THE METALS NEEDED FOR HUMANITY,MINE THOSE!!!
When our grandkids inherit a planet that is uninhabitable - at least we could get a new smartphone every year - and quarterly profits were excellent. One would not be wrong in saying we (in the first world) are all to blame - we all have enjoyed modern technology - however some consume way way more than others. Why isn't this research money being invested in researching the mining of asteroids? The only way we keep the Earth is to move industry off the planet.
Astroid mining is the only option
yep - gotta move industry off world
the planet will survive. humans, probably not
pmsl in 2077 we had hydrogen generators and anti dark energy !
What a joke! Leave the Oceans alone! Disgusting propaganda. Didn't make it 2 minutes into this and turned it off
Don't bloody speak in my name you manufacturer of consent. Your script is laughable.
