Google Workspace Email Alias: Add FREE Additional Email Addresses in G Suite

- I’ll show you how to add Google Workspace email aliases (G Suite).
This enables you to create 30, free and unique emails under one user. This means all the emails for these additional email addresses will come to your main inbox.
An email alias means simply that the email will be forwarded from one address to another.
So let’s say I create an email alias like this newsletter at mydomain.com and if someone sends an email to that address, it will get forwarded to my main email address, something like robert at mydomain.com .
Now if I would just reply to the alias email, the problem is that it would show the receiver that it came from the main email, and not from the alias email. And that might confuse the person on the other end, and I don’t want that. So let’s fix that quickly.
The only limitation with the email aliases is that all the emails will come to one inbox in Google Workspace.
You can move emails to separate folders based on the aliases. So it’s easier to keep up with. But if you have another person answering some of these emails, then it’s better to create a new user for them. You will just avoid a lot of confusion in the long run.

Not sure if anyone knows but I wanted to have my admin email for myself as the business owner and then another email for “Support” but that will also go to myself as I have no employees yet. Will this work for that? It was saying I needed to create another user and pay extra a month for the user

I have added another user to my Google account, can they access the business@ email if I add them on the (check email from other accounts) section? Please let me know
if you added an email alias, they will be able to see all accounts. But if it's a new workspace account then you can decide what they see

when giving aliases to employee? can they change setting to the original workspace account?
I think they will use the same user/account to access the emails, so they will have all same rights.

If I were to make a new Alias email, would it be possible to use that Alias for a website like let’s say Shopify as a proper email for my store instead of making a whole new gmail account?

Google, domain is just the address.
Is this one can connect to your domain as well
yes, you will recieve all emails to your main email.
For example, I have alias: tutorials@mydomain.com
but all emails come to my main email: robert@mydomain.com
But you need to first have a main email, you can get it be following this tutorial: czcams.com/video/4HaXW7AacSc/video.html

Can you assign a custom email signature to send from the alias? Or does it just pull the signature from the main address?
I think it just pulls from main one, but not 100% sure
Is it possible to add logo's to the alias? What I mean by that when I reply or send something with the alias the customer see our logo as a profile picture?
I'm not sure... I think not as it's not a real account.. but not 100% sure.
It is, I was able to pull it off using a Cloudflare alias I made with my domain (you can do it as long as the alias is active). I used a guide online, but I'll explain the steps here.
1. Make sure to log out of your current gmail account
2. Go to the google.com site and click on the "sign in" button on the upper right corner of the screen
3. Click on the option to select another account, then choose to create a new account
4. In the information forum, it should have some blue text saying "Use your current email address to log in instead", click on this and put in your email alias
5. After filling out the forum, do any necessary verification (they usually require a phone number nowadays)
6. Once you've done this, a verification email will be sent to your alias, therefore redirecting to your email account. Just check your email and verify that the email account is yours
7. Once you've done these steps, you will be logged into your alias as if it were an alternate account. From there, you can change the profile picture

Yes you can! It's not optimal but definitely possible and I've heard that some smaller teams use it like that.

if you want each email address to have it's own user account, then you can pick any of the plans (whatever fits you best) and create new accounts with your admin account (each user will cost you depending on the plan)

Yes you can!
Once you create an alias, just click on "new" to create a new email and next to your email address (from address) you will see small dropdown. There you can select your alias.
