Thanks for sharing. Great information. I'm replacing all the swim platform pads on a Yamaha SX230 jet boat with
embossing under the pads which makes clean up very time consuming.

Just did this last weekend. I used a heat gun rather than a torch. Great result. By the way Goop is basically carb cleaner. Carb cleaner is much cheaper.
