My mate has one of these, they are insanely fast. I'm utterly thankful that he actually bought one, coz he saved my life after i arsed off my own ski really bad. i hit wake at about 50mph and steering went full lock right and I stopped suddenly, I went flying over the handlebars, but top of my right leg caught the end of the handlebar and punctured into my leg. as I did full flip over the ski the force flipped the handlebars 180 degrees upside down and snapped the steering cable. The end of the handlebar missed my femoral artery my millimetres but caught all the feeder arteries and I bled like a stuck pig and was close to passing out. mate saw me, got me back to shore and call ambo, now i have a permanent limp. so while PWC's are fun, don't push them to their limits like I did!!

Woods Gaming Channel I had a Sea Doo and went out with a mate on a Yamaha Wave Runner that had a reasonable "V" to the bow, once we got in the chop, he left me for dead, he went through it whereas I was smashed on every swell. The Sea Doo is great for lakes and rivers, not real good off shore
Funny how after I watched this in 2014 it was my dream to own a SeaDoo... Four years later I purchased this same exact model in 2018 without even knowing it 🤩🤯😂My RXT-X 260 has 68 hrs. I'm 18 years old and I still love it.
I had one for a number of years. . .I eventually sold it to someone who would get more use out of it. But I've owned 18-20 jet skis in my life. . .this is easily my favorite. Even now I've still never rode a better all round jetski.
Also, in the early 90’s, I happened to acquire a hot rodded Sea Doo from someone who got tired of fixing it and I’m mechanically inclined. I don’t remember what model it was, but I weighed 180 at the time, and it barely weighed more than me. I know this by using a board to pivot it into the water. Couldn’t have weighed more than 250. It only went about 45mph, but when running right, it did literally jump out of the water. I think it had been a raced craft. Stripped bare. Loud exhaust. High flow intake. I think it had something to do with the impeller that kept top speed around 45, plus the fact that the lightweight made it skip across all but glassy water. Something failed on it, it sat at my parents house, I had no money, it went away. But it jumped. There was a stretch of marsh that stuck out into part of the creek. I could cruise along at like 15mph, just on a plane, get a pumping rhythm going, and at just the right moment jab the throttle and I could jump over that bit of grass, maybe two feet out of the water for about 12’ length. Getting air off the wakes of yachts was scary, cause it would float in the air, then drop tail first, nose up, and throw you over the front whether you liked it or not. That thing would seriously jump out of the water, cavitation and all, and if you didn’t hold on for dear life, it would leave you, then coast into whatever was in front of you, hopefully nothing. I really had no idea, but the Yamaha Waverunner I also fixed was rated at I think 60Hp, and weighed almost twice as much, but this thing would just leave it in the dust. The engine was tiny. I’d estimate it made less than 100hp, maybe 70-80?
Man I was in Costa Rica and my jet ski ran out of fuel so I went back with my friend and he launched it. That was the scariest time of my fucking life!

Private parking area for my apartment complex. Someone must of known the code and came in and drilled out the two locks that I had on it. I will not get another until I have a garage to keep it in.
I live in Tennessee. I now own a motorcycle but I know live in a place where I am right next to it at night and I also have cameras and other anti-theft measures.

My mum and uncle went on holiday and my uncle's nuts he was speeding as much as he can on it with big waves and the tide changed so he hit a wave head on really hard without expecting it and my mum's chin hit his spine and now his back is fucked just be careful if you hit a wave at a angle at a certain speed it can be like hitting a brick wall just be really fucking careful well don't be but do if that makes sense 😂

I've been on quads and dirt bikes my whole life from like 6 years old up, the first time I rode a jet ski it was a Yamaha 1300 and it was a big 3 seater but that was one of the most fun times of my life. Just different than what I'm used to and an awesome experience. Jet ski is one thing you can do to make the worst day of your life amazing. That's an awesome machine man! Enjoy it.

FYI, they WILL hook a turn at full throttle pulling many G forces. It's you that will not. I cartwheeled my ass across the water at top speed on a supercharged ski like that. They pull harder than liter bikes!

Mike C. Ive found that i can get a few more mph on water with a little chop because gives less drag on the hull. Im just worried about blowing my engine because i hear about a lot of people that do in this ski.

I have a supercharged sea do as well. I’m 15 and don’t weigh much and hit 87 on it last summer. I‘ll sometimes pull up next to a cigar boat or something and ask if they wanna race. Since mine does 60 in under 3 seconds, I win before the race even starts lol. In all seriousness, gotta be careful on these. Had a bad wipe from being stupid but I learned my lesson. Gotta respect the beast before you can tame it ;)

My only problem with the sea doos: reliability and longevity factor just isn’t there compared to Yamaha. Of course, some people don’t care about that. But Yamaha makes reliable large displacement engines and boosts them at low levels 8-9 psi whereas sea doo takes small displacement engines and boosts them twice that amount, which over the long term causes inevitable problems.
all stock skies are limited to only 65mph. that ski is highly capable of going 70mph but the computer won't let it. there is however a 2mph grace up to 67mph due to so many factors the determine your top end speed, how much fuel you have, how much you weigh, water conditions etc. GPS that ski and you will be surprised. still a very sweet ski, nice buy if you have $15 grand to burn and a lot of $ for fuel. nice video!
Please wear your helmet at that speed. I’ve been knocked out hydrosliding when I was a kid in the 80’s and my life preserver saved my life, no bullshit. But at 70+mph just the water impact could really damage you permanently. Don’t test it out, I implore you. You could also easily wreck such that the craft hits you hard. I mean at the time I thought I was not able to be knocked out, but the first time it ever happened was on the water, and since my brother and his buddy couldn’t see exactly what happened for the splash of water, but we figured the hydroslide hit me in the head. I was out, and woke up to them yelling at me, and me feeling like a truck had hit me, and I was doing that awful groan like when the wind has been REALLY knocked out of you, like the scary feeling. I couldn’t remember the actual wipeout, and still can’t. Had a headache the rest of the day and stayed up until I felt it I was safe to go to sleep. PFD always, unless you’re kayaking and not breaking 3mph. Creeks of course, I’m not talking about rapids, duh

These things are a beast. We just got some 130hp seadoo's. Those top off at 55 but damn they accelerate like nobody's business

I can hit 83mph on my stock 99 ultra 150. That was back when it came with the hot racing motor but looks like new skis are not near that fast

AndrewWilson haha.... yeah, the fastest I was able to best my SVHO is about 72 on perfect glass... no wind, cooler day. But it definitely feels faster than 72 mph!
Mike C. Ive found that i can get a few more mph on water with a little chop because gives less drag on the hull. Im just worried about blowing my engine because i hear about a lot of people that do in this ski.
+AndrewWilson the newer skis are governed. The older ultra 150s were not governed. New they did about 72 gps.

I have a supercharged sea do as well. I’m 15 and don’t weigh much and hit 87 on it last summer. I‘ll sometimes pull up next to a cigar boat or something and ask if they wanna race. Since mine does 60 in under 3 seconds, I win before the race even starts lol. In all seriousness, gotta be careful on these. Had a bad wipe from being stupid but I learned my lesson. Gotta respect the beast before you can tame it ;)

My only problem with the sea doos: reliability and longevity factor just isn’t there compared to Yamaha. Of course, some people don’t care about that. But Yamaha makes reliable large displacement engines and boosts them at low levels 8-9 psi whereas sea doo takes small displacement engines and boosts them twice that amount, which over the long term causes inevitable problems.

all stock skies are limited to only 65mph. that ski is highly capable of going 70mph but the computer won't let it. there is however a 2mph grace up to 67mph due to so many factors the determine your top end speed, how much fuel you have, how much you weigh, water conditions etc. GPS that ski and you will be surprised. still a very sweet ski, nice buy if you have $15 grand to burn and a lot of $ for fuel. nice video!
Please wear your helmet at that speed. I’ve been knocked out hydrosliding when I was a kid in the 80’s and my life preserver saved my life, no bullshit. But at 70+mph just the water impact could really damage you permanently. Don’t test it out, I implore you. You could also easily wreck such that the craft hits you hard. I mean at the time I thought I was not able to be knocked out, but the first time it ever happened was on the water, and since my brother and his buddy couldn’t see exactly what happened for the splash of water, but we figured the hydroslide hit me in the head. I was out, and woke up to them yelling at me, and me feeling like a truck had hit me, and I was doing that awful groan like when the wind has been REALLY knocked out of you, like the scary feeling. I couldn’t remember the actual wipeout, and still can’t. Had a headache the rest of the day and stayed up until I felt it I was safe to go to sleep. PFD always, unless you’re kayaking and not breaking 3mph. Creeks of course, I’m not talking about rapids, duh
