best comparison video out there! thanks! learned more in a few minutes than anyone could explain previously! keep making them.
Nice that you guys have all the models to show all 4 types. Makes for a great video!!!!
So many people with a thorough knowledge of a subject have trouble explaining it, but this was a very good clear informative explanation that an ordinary person can follow easily. You have a talent for clear talk. Thank you.
Wow. Thank you Karl.
Appreciate the video! Thanks for putting that together. It's nice to see all the options demonstrated.
i just wish i lived closer to you from everything i have herd about your dealership !!!! Keep up the good work
Larry, just a quick word to thank you on all your very informative videos. Since I am from Quebec, I cannot order from you. But I hope Kioti HQ realizes what a great job you are doing at explaining and simplifying all the options s available in their product line. I am presently in the process of purchasing a CK4010 and just reviewed this video. Priceless. Starting to lean towards the SE model after seeing this video. Thanks again
terrific video, thank you so much for making this, simple explanation for those not familiar with tractors and diff transmission, love the video showing clutch work also
Very very informative video! This is very helpful as I continue to research to make a decision on which tractor I’m going to buy...thank y’all!
Great informative video! Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Great video of the CK3510 transmission options. We have the CK3510 HST we love that Kioti. For $460. Dollars we added cruise control and the Linked pedal system 2 great options for sure.
How are you liking your ck3510 hst?
Another great video! I appreciate them
Absolutely what I was looking for a no nonsense review and comparison of Kioti Transmission-and how they operate. Well done Sir. I
Thank you, JB!
Very well outlined for someone not familiar with your brand. Thanks
Great video of the different transmissions on the CK 3510 Mike. It would be helpful if you could explain the benefits of each transmission or what performance each trans is superior for.
Thanks for all of your videos as I am considering buying a Ck 3510SE .
Thanks. Mike Baker
“If I don’t know the answer, I’ll make something up and it will sound very convincing.” I am a consultant in a technical field and more or less live these words.
Slight clarification about the manual transmission for anyone considering it. 1st and 3rd gear are not syncro-meshed, only 2nd and reverse. The shift pattern might also look weird, since 1st and 2nd are next to each other on top, and 3rd and reverse are on the bottom of the pattern.
Weird as that sounds, it's actually pretty perfect ergonomically, since you don't have to stop to shift between going forward to reverse or reverse to forward, and 2nd to reverse is just a straight throw down or up. Also because 2nd is syncro-mesh, you have foot throttle and this is a diesel, the only gear you're ever likely to "grind" is 3rd, but it's very easy to rev match it perfectly without double cluching.
Nice job Mike
I have a ck3510 hst
I wish I had the manual shift.
The hst requires stopping before shifty. Ugh
Excellent video. I wish I watched it before buying my ck3510
Very helpful!
My grandfather always called it a foot feed instead of a go pedal!
Very good video on transmission options. Ck3510. I have hst, is it ok to have forward/ reverse pedals at a not fully depressed position? While working, say plowing snow.
excellent video
Great video. Thanks
Larry I would like to thank you for all your videos. I am moving forward with the purchase of a ck3510seHST. I’ve been doing my homework for over a year and have watched almost every video you posted. I am sad to say I’m not buying it from you. I live in Massachusetts and I have found a new friend that has a Kioti dealership. I did consider a road trip!!! My relationship with the dealer I am purchasing from has started off great. So thank you again. Keep the videos coming.
Thank you! And welcome to the Pack!
Great video! Thanks for posting...
Thank you Paul
Larry, I recently purchased a CK3510SEHST. Can you demonstrate when and how to engage the diff lock? Thank you.
Excellent explanation/demo of the transmission choices. But you need to answer questions in the comments.
I had no idea there were that many transmission choices..
Great info
Thank you
I have cs2210 and I love my little tractor it is tough and handy I have 21 hours on it clearing clots in my town but the dealer I bought this tractor from he does not offer a tractor that is standard shift either and I would like to have a bigger Kioti tractor I know where you're at I used to live not far from one of your dealers in Gallatin to Springfield is not very far I would like to come down and look at Sun CS 2210 and I love my little tractor it is tough in handy I have 21 hours on it clearing lots in
Ty very good information 👏 👍 👴🐕😎
Would love to see a video expanding on why someone would/should choose one over the other, beyond preference. Manual seems best for long straight work, easier to reproduce a speed. HST a must have for wooded areas?
Slip, that is a great suggestion
Three questions on the 3510SE Shuttle:
1. It appears to have an EoH PTO. I assume this implies that the clutch is ONLY used for gear/direction change?
2. (This one is a bit more ignorant) When using a shuttle, what maintains the hydraulic pressure in the loader/PTO when going through the “stop” cycles? Just check valves of some sort?
3. Are you able to comfortably operate the loader stick while using the foot pedal? It looks very “tight”. Maybe using the loader and/or split brakes tacitly implies the use of the hand throttle?
Absolutely best ever video explanation of the different transmissions.. If your dealership was in Alaska I would definitely buy from you..Great job
Excellent
That was very different, cool
Thank you Troy
I have the 3510 hst. I always come to a complete stop when switching from low to medium to high. Just wondering if you have to do this or am I being overly cautious with my new tractor?
You are shifting the transfer case exactly as you should
Love your videos. Being a recent new owner of a CK2610 HST I am going to plow snow this winter ( with a plow I have not yet purchased ) Plan on chains for the rear tires. Can you say for any certainty that chaining up the front tires also at the same time is an option or is it bad for the FWD ? Thanks again for these awesome videos you put out love them
Kioti Hills, I am not the guy to ask....It doesn't snow here!
@@LSE_TRACTOR,,,,,You bet. I will check with Kioti here in Montana.
Why doesn't the 10 series come with a power shuttle shift like the larger models? It would make choosing a manual trans much more suitable for loader work.
Great information. Tell you videographer he is doing a great job also. Was he in the bucket.
Lol. Sitting on the hood and hanging on to the three point.
what is that other pedal beside the hydro pedals?
One thing I never understood about the two pedal side-by-side hydrostat setup is why they have the forward pedal on the left and the reverse pedal on the right. For people who come from driving a car with an automatic transmission, it would make more sense to have the forward on the right (throttle side) and the reverse on the left (brake side). Add the linked pedal option to the hydrostat, where the pedal functions like an accelerator, to this mix and it seems to make even less sense to have the forward pedal which also operates as a forward accelerator, on the left. It's the opposite of the muscle and spatial patterns that those who drive automatic transmission cars have spent years ingraining.
actually it makes more sense to have the forward on the left so that the brake is immediately to its left as it is in a car. because in most situations you're more likely to be moving FORWARD quickly and need to apply the brakes fast, opposed to moving in reverse and needing the brakes the same way.
Very nice. Do you have any videos showing how to change the range on the se?
No, but it is simply changed by stopping the tractor and moving the lever.
@@LSE_TRACTOR How easy is it to move the lever to change? I'm curious if you have to press any other levers first or if you just have to bang it into range.
I want one 😂😂👍👍
First !
hat off to the camera guy lol
Does the shuttle have independent PTO?
I want a shuttle but it would suck if the bush hog loses power every time I need to change direction.
Yes it does.
Can you get a cruise control with a clutch on the tractor
On the manual and shuttle transmissions, you don’t need a cruise control because you have fixed gears and a hand throttle. On the HST, the cruise control switch locks the foot pedal in place which would be the equivalent of selecting a gear on a manual/shuttle.
So on the hst se do you need to stop to engage the pto?
Nope. Just turn the switch on
