pigeon shooting on beans.using a beretta A400 extreme plus & Winchester SX4 action packed .

Welcome back to the channel , coming up in this episode, I'm back ut on the pigeons with Harry . we are shooting over drilled beans . after a morning of riding around scouting for pigeons , we dropped onto the best of the 3 fields we found .
We made a plan and got setup, we used the Enforcer full body decoy ,using the horse shoe pattern using 2 ff6 flappers either side of the pattern .
The birds started off decoying well after a couple of hrs they seemed to just switch off ,then not wanting to decoy.we switched the pattern up again and adding the the magnet to the pattern . the birds responded well to it for a start but soon decided it wasn't for them .
We hung on and it was steady away all day ,we ended the day with a respectable bag of 80 woodies , 12 corvids .

Not often you get two lefties in the hide. Great shooting, had a day on the drilled barley Saturday, but the pigeons were having none of it. Ended up a better crow tally!

Good work lads. Those Fiocchi cartridges are my favorite all round cartridge. Brilliant for pigeons, crows etc and good enough to take on decent pheasant and partridge too.

Spring beans I believe. They’d been in a week but we had a lot of heavy rain and it washed some to the top , the birds were scratting them out .

Hi Marc , I normally keep the same choke in all the time I’ve used the factory choke that comes with the new gun and getting on well with it . I’ll ask Harry what choke is in his gun . 👍

Thankyou very much for your observation I did say to Harry someone would pick up on that I had 9 steel cartridges left and I was using them up as a subscriber bought me 500 gamebore clear pigeon cartridges as a thankyou I hope that answers your question

A horseshoe pattern is hardly something pigeons do naturally.

Yes ,your right but I’ve had a lot of success using the horse shoe pattern over the years . Seems to be popular amongst a lot of pigeon shooters .

Neither do they fly round and round in circles but that’s not to say rotary’s don’t work 😉

I think if you shot with a single barrel rather than an auto you might consentrate better and took less stupid shots .the bag might improve . other than that not a bad video .

Well thank you for your positive feedback John , I shall be straight up to the gun shop first thing Saturday morning and buy myself and Harry a new single barrel each so we can can concentrate better . As not to take anymore stupid shots to improve our bag .
