While looking at the GUI for the seed maker you can click on the part the shows how many seeds you have and you will get an option to spawn seed pallets.
These pallets spawn in the trigger zone to the far left.
Global Company is impressive. I had a production area in my game, half are now converted to Global Company facilities.
Not sure if you noticed the door on the bga which can be opened
If you go inside just on the left is a trigger to active or deactivate the trigger markers
I did not notice that door thank you for pointing that out. I am still surprised that the bga mod is over 100MB in size compared to standard placeables. I know almost all that size is in the textures folder its got a lot of textures for sure.
Do the production work with season I placed the seed maker and it doesn't produce seeds? Have u had this issue? I just tried the seed maker on a save game without seasons and it works fine so I guess it'll need a update
I do like the Global Company mods, but I'm wondering about the cost effectiveness of these placeables. Everything that you put into them has a monetary value, so you have to pay for these things, plus you have to buy the production facilities in the first place. The Seed Maker needs grain and herbicide. Herbicide is not cheap to buy, and I'm guessing you would use something like Wheat, or Barley as the grain type, as these are usually the lowest in monetary value, but I have a sneaking suspicion that this particular production facility is not going to be very cost effective. On the other hand, I think the Fermentation facility would be the one that would be most cost effective, as it uses very cheap and readily available resources to produce the silage which can then be used to feed the BGA, or used for animal feed. Any way, I'm sure at some point, someone will test all of this out to see what the cost effectivness and profit margines of these facilties are. I also suspect that there are going to be a lot more Global Company mods coming out in the future.
Depends on the production ratio.
When pressing R and clicking Seed you can spawn seed pallets rather than filling via spout.
Minute 10.31, you're showing how you load silage from a silo but I noticed that the fruit icons all showed their respective colors and icons as well whereas in the regular game you always get the regular yellow icons depicting all types of products. Is this a global company thing or am i just missing out on something i must just activate on my regular FS program, sorry for this probably dumb question.
Is it cheaper to use the seed maker than actually buying the seed from the store?
for bulk yes, once you can afford it without loss and have enough or big enough gear with many fields it will feed seeders for WEEKS with one manufacturing plant.
Production facilities have been available for some time through the new placeable system. I thought maybe global company would be a big change. Oh well .
True the fill type mover has been around for a while but this is going to take things to a whole new level.
The left square is where the seedmaker puts his seed pallets after creating seed. Instead of loading it in trailer.
Thank you for that I found out after the upload of the video that you can toggle that on off from the output options in the GUI.
Is the global company compatible with seasons? I loaded it up with seasons and it was throwing lots of errors. Wouldn't load up the map.
I have no conflicts with the Michigan Map.
Works fine for me. i have not put these buildings on but the framework mod is fine with the icons. A few log entries about missing icon files but that is expected s the forbidden plants icons do not have snow and salt icons nor do they have the semidry grass icon that is in seasons.
Also works fine for me. I'm playing Brook map with Seasons.
I am having trouble with the seedmaker with seasons, it starts up ok then gets to like around 333 litres and does not make anymore. I have tried turning it on and off, waiting for hours and nothing more, its odd.
I had to deactivate about half my mods just to get it work without crashing. I finally said the heck with it and uninstalled all global company mods
FK i believe the left-most trigger area on the seed plant is where you place pallets of herbicide
turns out it is where pallets of seed spawn if you select that option in the output interface.

i don't get what the BG beet thing is for or doing....
Beets have natural sugars so they would work well for fermenting and producing gasses and such that could be used for energy production.
How do prices compare ? I mean, what is the point of producing your own seed ? Does it mean its cheaper than buying seed or ? Thank you fo your effort and great video
Seed production has always been a staple of placeable mods, and too many variables to answer your question. On higher economic difficulty it makes more sense from a cost perspective.
More often its just nice to have an easy-fill station you can place wherever and keep topped off with your excess, generally near a similar fertilizer station or other like factories.
well it depends how much seed you need of course as you have the expense of the building and the herbicide but if you have excess grain then it should be fairly cheep to make seed. especially if you can sell it on the map
Hey I wanted to let you know I saw your comment on the Berry village. I looked at it again and was then reminded why I skipped over it before. I just get hung up with all the Russan sell points. Now that there is production also in the map it makes it even more confusing.

Hmmm.. Seems to be overly complicating FS19, not sure i see the need for the whole "Global Company " mods thing,i appreciate its trying to "unify" game scripts and stop conflicts but... Not sure what I'm trying to say here lol..
I just feel its a mod for the sake of a mod and its something thats not needed ,like you said in your Global Company icon mod "...too many mods" lol ,(though i do quite like the icon mod)

production was a big thing for many players in 15 and 17. There was a big void in 19 when the old scripts would not work. we will see an explosion of production now. from simple things like making fertilizer and such to other things like taking animals to a building and getting meat products out which you then take to another building to get finished secondary goods from those meat products that you can then sell. In 17 there was a whole production chain that started with pallets and then you took those and woodchips to make cardboard and you took both of the pallets and cardboard to green houses that made pallets of boxed fruit that you then took to a dairy to make stuff, etc. Production is not for everyone but for some its the only reason to play.

That's all new to me .. "Factory mods" ,ive only recently come into Farming Simulator (i love it btw..) since FS17 and only farm on a small scale ,it was your instructional videos on courseplay that got me looking at mods.
I'm not sure ill be playing with the Factory mods but very interesting nonetheless.

Seed made with herbicide sounds odd.
A quick edit and that can be changed to something else, I changed it to liquid fertilizer instead.
