Wait longer. Sometimes that step takes a bit. Shouldn't take several minutes but it defiantly pauses there for a bit. Also see if there is a popup somewhere prompting you to allow the server to make changes to the firewall rules. If there is make sure you say yes. If you said no then you will need to go in to the firewall and allow those entries.

That's defiantly out we have two versions.

A mini pc with the AMD Ryzen 7840HS processor. There are tons of options out there for these things. Its basically the same processor in handhelds like the ROG Ally. I also did a video a few month back with some suggested graphic settings for lower end systems and handhelds czcams.com/video/Gnjvc4VNUzg/video.html There are some link in that video's description but a quick google search will turn up a ton mini pc's. AMD is killing it with their intergrated GPU's in the 7XXX and 8XXX series mobile chips.

Thanks a bunch! Most threads I’ve read people start suggesting $1000 setups and had a hard time finding reasonable starter setup. Really appreciate the response and your map tours are awesome.

@@FarmerKlein Beside playing on a PC with a AMD 5700G connected to my TV and on my notebook Lenovo Yoga 7335U integrated graphics and FS22 runs fine to great on those systems.

You could depending on the hypervisor and how the VM deals with 3d rendering as you will need some support of that for the initial client launch. But it also somewhat negates the overall benefit of a server if its running as a VM on your main system. Now that system has the overhead of not only playing the game but running a hypervisor and second windows instance and the game server which is keeping track of all the clients locations and sending data back and forth to those clients. Its possible but the way I see it less practical.

Depends on how fast the map loads but it should just be a few minutes. Back out of the menu and come back in. Be sure your search criteria is not to restrictive.

There are plenty that play on TV's as their display. The items to know would be what the refresh rate of the display is at the given resolution the TV is set for 1080p or 4K for example. You want something thats at least 60hz which is basicly 60 FPS. The higher the refersh rate the smoother overall your gameplay will look. The other aspect is what kind of GPU is in the laptop which would govern how well it plays the game at the resolution of the TV.

It's fine if you disagree there are plenty that care very much about the factors I look for and talk about.

Ratings aside, I prefer to play on a map where I can remove/change a building or two if I want to. Sometimes I don’t want two cow sheds, or the equipment shed doesn’t suit the machines I’m using, etc etc. It’s not about wanting to remove everything and start again. So I like to know what is removable and what is not.

works great, verify you edited the correct files properly. I do this on every install of farmsim as recent as last week.

Good question, its not in the list of crops so I assume its not able to be planted but maybe you can still mow map grass.

And another update as I just download a .2 release. No idea what was changed.

I dont have FS23 for moible but typically you would buy it from the dealership under pallets.

I did a harvesting contract that had to trailers and one of the trailers failed to spawn because there was no more room

Boo hoo Giants is just as bad if you don't believe look at the farm production pack for example and do we even need to mention the console players who will never get an experience like this map. If they are doing something Giants won't and are charging for it so what seems reasonable to me

no its just a texture pack so your paying for several small graphic files.

@@FarmerKlein the web site does not sell photographs of brick walls. the product on sale is a paid optional upgrade with the intention of complimenting and enhancing what should be a free game modification. that is how it is worded in the product sale description and that is how it is being sold, clearly referencing both Farm Simulator and Giant's Software. the intentional motive is clearly to draw profit through a Farm Simulator 22 Game Mod and it is 100% in breach of Giant's Software terms and conditions of service. The option to purchase does not negate that breach and the deceleration of personal copyright is irrelevant.

@@steverandle4177 Steve by all means feel free to report it to abuse@giants-software.com I very much know its not selling photos of brick walls. There images of all sorts of things that can be applied to all sorts of models.

@@steverandle4177 were the textures created through Giants Editor? NO... therefore it is NOT a breach of Giants TOS... same as a 3-D model created in Blender... it is not a game asset till it runs through GE... plain and simple
