similar. basically, because the same power is spread over a larger area, less power is being put down for each square centimeter available. this means that what you need to do is run the same test grids on the same materials for different lenses to see what the best settings are for each lens on that material
I have a 100w machine and I cannot get any engraving with a 174x174mm lens I’ve reinstalled ezcad and my drivers and still have had no luck I’ve also played with focal height with no engraving. Do you have any clues?

I do need to know how to make the red light more continuous, it only lights a piece at a time and I can't align my work properly !
Using the 300 mm lens, if I increase the amount of times the laser passes over the surface, will I be able to record with any depth?

70x70 is terrific to cutting and deep engraving. 50x50 is no good cause it stay only 100mm from piece and it is no good to lens health....
