The best song they did. It has everything in it. A little darker version of Stairway to Heaven.

I'm old enough to remember all the Beatles career as it happened. I didn't fully appreciate them until many years later. The Beatles didn't have a "style" because they were so experimental. They just did what they wanted to do how they wanted to do it. It all worked out perfectly. There's just no way anyone can ever come close to what they accomplished. Four geniuses coming together as they did will not happen again. Great review Cimdy. Your expressions are priceless and your review is spot on. Thank you!

It's so great that you had all that information about with the orchestra and all that. I don't think I've seen a reaction to this yet where they talked about that. It's been several years since I've seen it, but I know that it was on CZcams and at one point I saw a video that was old footage of John and Paul working with the orchestra. At first they were having a hard time getting them to truly go nuts on their instruments, and like you said pull every single note and sound out of it that they possibly could. It just went so far against being that level of a professional classical Orchestra member. And so John and Paul were walking up and down the aisles, and telling them just to forget everything they know and just have fun. All they have to do is Count out and hit the target at the end, and tried to build up a sense of tension all along the way and that nothing is off limits. I remember they interviewed one of the violin players and he was saying that once they finally relaxed and got into it, apparently they all had a blast. He was saying it was probably most one of the fun things he had done in his entire career, laugh.

a complex song that had real meaning. For instance it was a Guinness Heir by the name of Tara Browne who crashed his sports car and died of his injuries at the age of 21 when John sang about "He blew his mind out in a car" and the part about the holes in Blackburn Lancashire (holes in the road) was from a newspaper article that John had read but he embellished it to use Albert Hall for rhyming purpose.. Also if you listen well you can still hear Mal Evans countdown before the full orchestra came in to see how much was needed for that part of the song-( check out early versions to hear Mal do his whole countdown). The Piano at the end was done by John, Paul, George and George Martin at the same time to give that effect and they brought the sound up so much you can hear the air conditioners in the back round. Very amazingly done this tune !!! Hope you enjoy this info!

Tara Browne (chap who died in the song) was a close mate of Brian Jones. In a few month span- Brian went through a lot. His friend Tara died, he lost his girlfriend Anita to his fellow band mate, he was arrested for drugs, hospitalized for anxiety, getting deeper into drugs and slowly losing his own band. Always felt for Brian

The finale tune on the Beatles most influential, and perhaps best, album... That's sayin' a lot!

That strange bit of laughter at the end contains a dog whistle tone -- 15kHz -- so it might make any dogs within ear shot bark. It was placed on the record in what is called the "run-out groove" or the "lead-out groove" which usually would guide the phonograph to stop playing the record but in this case it would loop over and over as a reminder to get up and turn the record over and play the album again from the beginning -- which we did, a lot, and for me that was more than a decade after the album was originally released.

Hi there. I'm loving your reactions. Just want to tell you that all four Beatles have the Sir title before the name. Sir Richard Starkey. The nick name Ringo it's because from the beginning, he always had several rings on his fingers. One more curiosity. John was "blind" has a bat. So all the live shows you see him whitout glass , well, in his own words he only was seeing a massive blur in movement and of course screaming like there will be no tomorrow 😂 take care ✌☯️
